Kronisk smärta utgör ett folkhälsoproblem, där psykologiska faktorer är betydelsefulla. Psykologiska behandlingar har god effekt, och det finns ett växande intresse för den terapeutiska alliansen i smärtbehandling. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka relationen mellan patientkaraktäristiska, allians och utfall, i två behandlingar för smärta; KBT och exponering. Ljudinspelningar av behandlingssessioner har skattats avseende allians med instrumentet Working Alliance Inventory. Ångest före behandling hade ett positivt samband med alliansen i båda behandlingarna.

Energy consumption is at present a major political issue, and numerous projects that comprise many nations are currently in process to increase energy efficiency and bring down energy dependency. As a member state of the EU, Sweden now faces the challenge of implementing substantial energy-saving measures until the year 2016. One of these measures is the project ?Green Islands? financed by the EU that intend on creating sustainable islands in areas around the Baltic Sea. The Archipelago Foundation leads the project that concerns the Stockholm archipelago, where focus has been placed upon decreasing energy usage in businesses and services on Utö among other islands.

In this paper corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been studied to investigate to what extent corruption inhibits Bosnia and Herzegovina?s possibilities of integrating with EU.The overarching research question is how occurrence of various types and forms of corruption affect the possibilities of Bosnia and Herzegovina to fulfill the criteria negotiated by the EU. In order to undertake this exploration the study uses typologies to identify and categorize the various forms of corruption that exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina and theories about the impact of these forms of corruption. After that these forms of corruption are analyzed in relation to their impact on the various political and economic criteria that are set for integration and membership in EU, such as independent justice system and the acceleration of the privatization process.The results show that corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a major obstacle to several of the criteria set by the EU and thereby integration with EU. Even though that these priorities are told to be set with realistic goals these priorities will be difficult to fulfill with such widespread corruption as in Bosnia and Herzegovina today..

Det salutogena perspektivet har betydelse för hur vi kan hantera den stress som upplevelse av negativa livshändelser kan innebära. Känslan av sammanhang har en direkt positiv effekt på den upplevda hälsan och reducerar stress, ångest, hopplöshet och depression. Syftet med studien var att undersöka huruvida personer med hög KASAM värderar negativa händelser mer positivt än personer med låg KASAM. En kvantitativ studie genomfördes och data analyserades med en tvåvägs variansanalys för oberoende mätningar. Studien resulterade i slutsatsen att det inte finns något signifikant resultat av sambandet mellan graden av KASAM och upplevelsen av negativa livshändelser.

Our theoretical starting points are about how school, family, work, individualization, media and lifestyle effect youths mental health. This paper is based on three deep interviews and former reports. The result show how individualization in the community cause insecurity and the family band are breaking up more than before. Youth?s health effects negative by the ability to not get a job.

Höftfrakturer är ett växande problem bland äldre och det påverkar den psykiska hälsan negativt. I dagsläget ligger fokusen inom vården i huvudsak på hur patienten mår fysiskt efter en höftfraktur. Som sjuksköterskor har vi möjlighet att påverka patientens psykiska välbefinnande. Syftet med studien var att belysa äldre patienters psykiska hälsa efter en höftfraktur. En granskning av 15 vetenskapliga artiklar genomfördes.

This essay deals with the principle of surprise warfare and its development as well as the adaptation of military action that had to be made to surprise the opponent in the modern era.The concept of surprise is divided into its components in order to clarify what is required to implement a surprising maneuver, to understand the complex concept and form a theoretical framework for gathering facts in the case study.Development and adaption are demonstrated by a comparative case study where Pearl Harbor illustrates an example of historical surprise and Operation Desert Storm illustrates a modern surprise. The product will then be analyzed in order to detect the development and how military conduct is forced to adapt in order to carry out a surprising maneuver. The results shows that the military action of performing a surprise attack has had a major development and is now carried out in a different stage of the attack..

Gruppbehandling för personer med social ångest har under 5 år bedrivits på en öppenvårdspsykiatrisk mottagning. Sammanlagt har 10 grupper med totalt 50 deltagare behandlats. Gruppbehandlingen bygger på Clarks & Wells KBT modell. Social ångest och socialt undvikande minskade signifikant från för- till eftermätning, vid uppföljningen sjönk värdena ytterligare. Graden av depression minskade på motsvarande sätt.

The purpose of this paper has been to identify which modern search functions user of Smartphones are using, why just these functions are being used, and how they have affected the way users acquire information. Modern search functions in this paper means searches that are not based on text, i.e. ways to search for information by other means than writing something into a search field. To identify this, two studies were conducted, one with a questionnaire being distributed with the help of Google Docs through social networks, and one with four interviews with users of modern search functions for Smartphones. The study showed that even though 76 % of Smartphone users are aware of at least one modern search function, only 29% uses one on a regular basis.

Syftet med litteraturstudien är att sammanställa olika studier av både kvalitativ och kvantitativ forskning för att svara på frågan hur patienters livskvalitet påverkas av knäledsartros. Den tillämpade metoden är en litteraturstudie som inspirerats av Goodmans sju steg, översatt av Willman m fl. Studierna granskades med hjälp av modifierade protokoll gjord av Willman m fl och SBU & SSF. Tio artiklar valdes som underlag för resultatet, vilket visade på en påverkan på (I) den emotionella dimensionen: deltagarna visade på en ökad tendens till depression, större katastroftänkande och en mer negativ humör, (II) den andliga dimensionen: deltagarna kunde inte praktisera sin religion, (III) den sociala dimensionen: deltagarna isolerade sig från aktiviteter såsom t ex tennis, (IV) den fysiska dimensionen: deltagarna undvek att röra på sig.

This has been done with active field studies in which applications have been tested and also the supervisors receptive. The usability of the iPad has always been in focus since it is important that the applications are easy to use and easy to learn.The results of the work, as presented in this report, points at opportunities in efficiency if the iPad is introduced and used on construction site. There are many useful applications for the iPad, and with a system that can handle the synchronization between the iPad and the computer, the workflow will be streamlined significantly..

Changes are occurring in most organizations today and due to the fact that changes often are harder to implement than they seem, it often takes much longer time to implement them than the management have planned. During an organizational change theorist claim that communication between managers and employees is one of the most important things to consider. Therefore, in this essay, our aim is to closer investigate which needs of information and communication co-workers have during a planned organizational change. To collect data, we interviewed five co-workers and one manager who works in an organization which has gone through a major change. Our theoretical framework comprises former research of organizational communication, employee?s needs of communication, change communication and theories of uncertainty during organizational change.

The securities market was to undergo a major change with the entry of MiFID I in November 2007. EU´s establishment if the directive sets high standards for investment firms to establish internal guidelines in accordance with MiFID I. As right now, the securities market is facing further change with the proposal for MiFID II.MiFID II seeks to overcome MiFID I´s shown deficiencies. The greatest need for change are the rules that secure investor protection, with specific focus on regulation on information service from investment firms to customers. This essay deals with the rules on information service enacted in MiFID I compared to the changes presented in MiFID II to investigate whether the changes could strengthen investor protection as desired.MiFID II is a more detailed framework than its precursor.

Den psykiska ohälsan hos ungdomar är hög, dessutom är samsjuklighet vanligt. Det transdiagnostiska perspektivet utgår från att olika syndrom delar samma underliggande processer varav repetitiva negativa tankar är en sådan process. Denna kombinerade longitudinella- och tvärsnittsstudie syftade till att undersöka psykiska symtom (inom social ångest, depression och sömnproblem) och deras stabilitet över tid samt koppling till repetitiva negativa tankar hos gymnasieungdomar. Genom klusteranalys framkom ett antal symtomprofiler för vartdera mättillfälle (ett symtomfritt kluster, singelproblematikkluster och samtidiga symtom/samsjuklighetskluster). Dessa symtomprofiler visade sig vara stabila över tid.
