In this diploma work the approach of determining the required amount of reinforcement in slabs exposed to pure tension is processed, on behalf of Ramböll Uppsala. It is a well-known problem in the industry that there are uncertainties in the determining of the amount of crack reinforcement, especially for structures exposed to pure tension. Cracking caused during the time of dehydration in concrete slabs is the most common defect according to statistics made by CBI[1], which provides numbers as high as 35 % of all the defects caused on slabs are generated by cracks. Comparisons between Sweden's former national standard BBK 04, Building Regulations for concrete structures due to restrained forces of shrinkage, and the current European standard Eurocode 2 are carried out through theoretical studies and concludes with several examples of calculations. Rigorous calculations of both standards, BBK 04 and Eurocode 2 with application of the national annex in Sweden and Denmark are performed.

Bakgrund. Fysisk aktivitet på recept- FaR® kan förskrivas av distriktssköterskan, kunskapen om hur metoden används är dock begränsad. Forskning visar att fysisk aktivitet kan både främja hälsa, förebygga och behandla fysiska som psykiska sjukdomstillstånd samt bromsa åldrandet. Trots det väljer många att vara fysiskt inaktiva och idag är fysisk inaktivitet en av de ledande riskfaktorerna till dödligheten i världen, och är en hög riskfaktor vid hjärt-kärlsjukdomar, högt blodtryck, höga blodfetter, cancer och diabetes. Vi vet att genom att använda metoden FaR® kan den fysiska aktiviteten ökas, trots det visar forskning på att FaR® är en underutnyttjad metod.

GPS (Global Positioning system) and GIS (Geographical information system) has been used for planning and inventory in the forest sector for more than ten years. The last years the development has come to equip harvesters and forwarders with GPS and GIS (GIT). The goal with this study was to reach a basis for decision, how Stora Enso Skog should continue its investment in GPS and GIS in harvesters and forwarders. To reach this basis for decision, possible advantages and benefits, disadvantages and problems in the harvesting process was evaluated. The study was made as an interview study with four harvesting managers and ten machine teams. To secure the quality of the results an interview questionnaire was made before the interviews were done. The results showed that GIT will make the harvesting managers work easier.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka när och på vilket sätt små- och medelstora företag i Västerås vill sköta sina bankärenden samt att undersöka vilken betydelse bankens tillgänglighet har för dessa.Problemfrågor: Vilken betydelse har tillgängligheten för bankens företagskunder? När och på vilket sätt vill företagskunderna sköta sina bankärenden?Tillvägagångssätt: Utifrån en djupdykning bland sekundärdata kring relationer till banken utformades en enkät utifrån den teori som ansågs relevant för utredningen. För att kunna uppfylla syftet och besvara problemfrågorna har vi med hjälp av enkäten genomfört strukturerade telefonintervjuer för att samla in primärdata.Resultat: Företag anser att kontakten med deras kontaktperson i banken samt hur och när de kan kontakta banken är av stor betydelse. Majoriteten vill kunna kontakta och besöka sin bank mellan kl.10.00-15.00, medan en liten del vill kunna göra detta mellan kl.08.00-17.00, något utökat från de ordinarie banktiderna. Mest betydelsefullt för bankens tillgänglighet är utbudet av tjänster och betydelsen av Internet och Internetbanken framhävs av ett stort antal respondenter som det vanligaste sättet som företagarna själva vill sköta sina bankärenden på.

Safety in the construction industry has become a question of top priority in recent years. Despite a massive investment of time, money and knowledge, the occur-rence of fatal accidents in Sweden alone is around one a month.The purpose of this study is therefore to improve the safety on the construction site. By an examination of the role of the safety agents and their cooperation with the construction workers and supervisors as well as examine how safety agents can improve safety on the construction site, which is the goal of the study.Four questions were formulated based on the purpose and the goal of the study.The methods used to answer the questions were a questionnaire survey, multiple interviews, a literature review and a document analysis.The report describes the safety agent?s role as a complex one with many different tasks. The role of the safety agents is regulated in the health and safety law, but it can sometimes be difficult to interpret and the agents can therefore interpret their role differently.

Aim The aim of this study was to investigate the attitudes of midwives and gynaecologists at youth health clinics about their own thoughts of risks with unprotected oral sex and testing of orally contagious sexually transmitted infections (STI). The aim was also to investigate the level of knowledge of oral STIs. One further aim was to examine what they thought about the level of knowledge about oral STIs among adolescents and how common unprotected oral sex is within this group and if oral STIs/oral sex is brought up in the form of information or questions during STI-testing.Method Seventy-five youth health clinics all over Sweden were randomly chosen. A questionnaire was sent by mail to the clinics. It included questions about attitudes, knowledge about STIs and information exchange.

Den här studien har genomförts för att undersöka hur attityder kan påverkas av den sociala interaktionen som uppstår i mötet, mellan den arbetssökande ungdomen och handläggaren på Arbetsförmedlingen. Studien har genomförts kvantitativt med hjälp av elektroniska enkäter som vi har publicerat på Facebook, och länkat i ett mail till samtliga studenter på högskolan i Skövde. Målgruppen på våra respondenter var mellan 19-23 år och med kravet om att de skall eller har varit inskrivna på Arbetsförmedlingen. Syftet med studien är att undersöka bland annat hur handläggarens engagemang påverkade den arbetssökande individen till att aktivt söka arbete efter det första besöket på Arbetsförmedlingen. Exempel på andra variabler vi har valt att studera är om handläggarens ålder och tillgänglighet påverkar den arbetssökandes inställning till denne, respektive engagemang till att aktivt fortsätta söka arbete.

CrCL-ruptur är en av de vanligaste ortopediska skadorna hos hundar. Efter en CrCL-operation är fortsatt rehabilitering en viktig förutsättning för hundens tillfrisknande, men då rehabiliteringen ofta sker på annan ort än den hunden opererades på är det svårt för den ansvariga sjukgymnasten att följa upp och utvärdera rehabiliteringens effekt. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hundägares upplevelser av den postoperativa rehabiliteringen efter att deras hundar genomgått en Tibial Tuberosity Advancement. En enkät med 32 frågor konstruerades i det webbaserade enkätprogrammet EvaSys, och skickades ut via mail eller brev till 36 hundägare vars hundar genomgått en TTA-operation på ett Djursjukhus i Sverige mellan åren 2012-2014. Totalt inkom 18 enkäter, vilket innebar en svarsfrekvens på 50%.

Sociala medier har utvecklats enormt i och med internets utbredning. Teknikens framfart har medfört mer direkta kommunikationsmöjligheter för såväl privatpersoner som företag, något som uppmärksammats och utnyttjats för främjandet av kommunikation. De mediestrategier som tidigare varit vedertagna börjar i och med detta att ifrågasättas då sociala medier utgår från en plattare hierarki än tidigare medier. Detta medförde ett behov av uppdaterad forskning kring kommunikation inom sociala medier. De faktorer som var viktiga för kommunikation inom sociala medier mellan företag och kund belystes därför i denna rapport.
