Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate how VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) is used in the prehospital environment, and describe how patients 40 years and older with acute chest pain describe their pain with help of VAS. Further, to investigate how the literature describes other instruments to evaluate pain. Method: This was a descriptive study and used both literature and empiric material as foundation. The selection consist of the paramedics medical record from one emergency department, 100 men and 100 women with chest pain witch had been transported with ambulance to one hospital in middle of Sweden. A literature review was done in order to see what previous research recommends for pain rating scales.Results: The study showed that 71 (35 %) of 200 individuals pain were rated with VAS according to the guidelines for the ambulance department.

Examensarbetet handlar om hur man kan använda sig av feng shuis principer i den privata trädgårdsmiljön. Det är uppdelat i två olika avsnitt. Den första delen beaktar feng shuis historia. Hur den först kom till och vilka som använder den idag. Om man inte har den kunskapen så kan läran kännas mer diffus och svårare att ta till sig.

The study was conducted in a medium-sized hospital in southern Sweden, during the latter part of 2005, and had a qualitative approach based on a lifeworld perspective. Data collection consisted of written stories from twelve nurses.Results: The results indicated that the waiting was the scene of the expectations. These expectations led to dilemmas, powerlessness and frustration, the more the phenomenon was allowed to stand.

Den här uppsatsen undersöker kännedom om och syn på pragmatiska språkstörningar bland lärare. Allt högre krav ställs på att kunna kommunicera och samspela med andra människor på ett skickligt och lämpligt sätt. I dagens informationssamhälle, med dess stora flöde av envägskommunikation, hamnar det goda samtalet, dialogen, på undantag. I dialogen lär man sig tidigt att använda språket på ett lämpligt sätt i en viss situation utifrån samhällets fastlagda normer. Intresset för pragmatik har ökat de senaste decennierna, och följaktligen intresset för pragmatiska språkstörningar.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva en av arkitekten Bernt Nybergs byggnader. Han utbildades på KTH och examinerades år 1952. Den utbildning som bedrevs på KTH vid den tiden var präglad av modernismen. Bernt Nyberg visade redan under utbildningstiden ett stort intresse för tidigare arkitekturstilar och isynnerhet för klassicismen. Hans intresse för utpräglad ordning tog sig uttryck i byggnader som kan härledas till de geometriska grundformerna.I "Josephson" har han använt sig av kvadraten och kuben som utgångspunkt för rumsmodulens utformning.

Det övergripande syftet med vårt arbete är att belysa den lokala konstruktionen av motivation. Vi vill mer specifikt belysa skillnader mellan hur motivation kommer till uttryck i olika omgivningar. Utifrån detta har vi skapat en modell som bygger på två parametrar kunskapskrav och karriärmöjligheter. Vi har sedan utgått från dessa när vi strukturerat vårt empiriska urval. Primärdatan är ett urval av 12 respondenter från både privat och offentlig sektor.
