Formulation and testing of a new type of chainsaw lubricantThe company Agro Oil has come up with the idea of developing an environmentally adapted chainsaw lubricant with a new unusual base fluid. A field test with a tree-harvester shows unsatisfactory low temperature properties and high wear. In this work the viscosity, price and pour point of different combinations of the given base fluid and three other base fluids have been investigated. Desired viscosity and price are determined for different formulations. The new lubricants tested show lower pour points than almost all products on the Swedish market.A test equipment has been developed to investigate the wear.

Denna rapport är en jämförande studie om hur möbelvaxer påverkas av inre och yttre faktorer, hur resultatet påverkas av till exempel vilket vax, lösningsmedel eller harts som används i en vaxblandning. Samt hur det i sin tur påverkar hur pass tålig vaxblandningen är för yttre påverkan i form av vatten, alkohol och värme.På marknaden finns idag en uppsjö av möbelvaxer, vissa med mer eller mindre ofullständiga innehållsdeklarationer, vilket har gjort mig frustrerad ett flertal gånger då man inom konservatorsyrket gärna vill kunna härleda materialen man arbetar med. Därför har jag här tagit reda på om det går att göra enkla, användbara och miljövänligare vaxer själv.Jag har i denna rapport valt att insamla olika vaxrecept från vitt skilda källor för att sedan tillverka dem och testa dem för ovan nämnda påfrestningar och kartlägga vilket recept som lämpar sig till olika ändamål.Resultaten i denna rapport har legat till grund för min sammanställning i boken Vax ? en receptbok för möbler och kulturvård (2013)..

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur organisationen Riksteatern förankrar sina mål i verksamheten och hur dessa implementeras i medarbetarnas vardag. Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och en fallstudie genomfördes på Riksteatern. Ett flertal intervjuer gjordes med nyckelpersoner inom organisationen. Informationen från dessa intervjuer analyserades sedan utifrån den teoretiska referensramen som innehåller teorier om målstyrning och organisationskultur. Resultatet visade att Riksteaterns målsättning är diffus och svårtolkad.

The purpose of this study has been to get a deeper insight into how students reason about the textbook and teaching that goes beyond its content. This in order for the teacher to be able to consider and respond to these important attitudes already at the planning stages of such teaching situations. This approach will aid to help students overcome the distrust of things that are not in the textbook.The study shows that students have an attitude of overconfidence to the textbook's reliability. It is considered to be controlled in its content as well as being a reference on the extent of the knowledge content.The general approach to teaching that deviates from textbook structure is that it is welcomed as an interesting feature. However, a questioning attitude soon appears about whether the element will be included in any requirements for knowledge or tests.The following important conclusions can be drawn after this study was carried out:Very clearly communicate the purpose of all education that deviate from the textbook.Inform students about the textbook's deficiencies and the need for supplementing.Accept and respond to students' focus in that grades are the main driving force for the acquisition of knowledge in high school..

The web has evolved much through the years. From being a place where author and reader were clearly distinguished, it now invites everyone to take part in the development of both content and technology. Social services are central in what is called Web 2.0. Wikis, blogs and folksonomies are all examples of how the users and their communities are key to the development of services. Collaborative writing, tags and API:s are central.

I denna rapport redovisas ett examensarbete av Yvonne Svensson i samarbete med Claes Edman, entreprenör.Projektets mål har varit att designa ett poolhus med inredningsförslag till uppdragsgivarens koncept Poolhus/poolskydd som ska vara så pass flexibel att den passar en bred kundgrupp. Konceptet är sekretessbelagt och kommer därför inte gå närmare in på konstruktionsfrågor gällande poolskyddsdelen. Poolhuset kommer att fungera som en gäststuga och har bastu, utomhusdusch, utomhuskök samt en veranda. Inspirationen till inredningen och formen till poolhuset är ifrån ett marint tema.I faktainsamlingen ges en överblick vem som är målgruppen genom en enkätinsamling och målgruppsanalys även en konkurrentanalys har genomförts. Här presenteras även en funktionsanalys och en diskussion om trender utförs.

Practical and theoretical learning are methods that are used in schools as a way to prepare students for the working life. Within the practical learning knowledge is not only acquired to learn in practice, but the students must also be able to apply their theoretical knowledge to what he/she does. Against this background, the aim of the study was to investigate the importance of practical learning for students in college / university level and how they are experiencing the stress that may arise out of the loss of practical learning during their education, as well as their vision for working life after completing their education. The population of the study consisted of N = 36, which 18 of these had used both practical and theoretical learning and the remainder had only used theoretical learning. The method was a questionnaire survey with a high proportion of fixed alternative answers according to likert scales.

Samhällsbyggnadssektorn i Sverige är stor, nästan tio procent av den svenska arbetsmarknaden räknas in där och den svarar för mellan tio och femton procent av Sveriges BNP. När en så pass stor del av Sveriges BNP vilar inom samhällsbyggnadssektorn så krävs det att den fungerar felfritt. Allt för ofta överskrids kostnad och tid i de projekt som genomförs, och kvalitetsmål uppnås inte i tillräcklig grad. Sektorn jämförs ofta med tillverkningsindustrin som har bättre produktivitets- och teknikutveckling. Under de senaste åren har därför industrialisering av byggbranschen blivit ett hett begrepp.

I have chosen in this work to examine which factors are affecting the artificially creation of a tree cavity containing decomposed wood. The purpose of the work is to find out which factors are affecting the most when a tree cavity is created, and to apply these results when you artificially try to create a tree cavity. The need to create tree cavities comes from the situation where many tree cavity living beetles finds themselves today. When existing trees are to pass out there will be no suitable inheritors yet. The work was initially to focus on cavities created from cut branches.

Syftet med interventionsstudien är att bidra med kunskapsutveckling kring arbetssätt för att utveckla elevers förmåga att skriva med flyt. Studiens syfte är också att undersöka om det finns samband mellan ordavkodning/läshastighet och skrivflyt.Interventionen genomförs i klassundervisningen i skolår 1 och 2. Under tio tillfällen skriver eleverna i sina tankeböcker. Dockan Mini, som är huvudpersonen i klassens läsebok, ger skrivuppdrag som diskuteras innan eleverna börjar skriva. Vid tre olika tillfällen mäts skrivflytet genom att eleverna får skriva en text till en bild.

In recent decades here has been a huge development in information technology (IT), where we humans are increasingly using IT in our daily lives, ranging from social media to music streaming services; this has also been a reflection of the technologies developed to our cars. Infotainment systems have become an increasingly regular feature in modern cars where the high degree of integration such as navigation, mobile and Internet has become more common and more sought after. Despite this, relatively little research problemized User Experience of a complex infotainment system in a car. This study thus has the intention to consider the relevance of reality based tests by examining how the user experiences a complex infotainment system in a car. We asked ourselves; How do the user experience a complex infotainment system in a car? We conducted our qualitative study, an interview with researchers in the field of vehicle and road safety and designed a number of system-related activities in a test session where we observed three users.

?Claiming the right to space? is an argument frequently used by street artists for justifying illegal art in the public space. The public city space as a room of democracy and right to free speech is by some people considered threatened by commercial interests, and street art has become a way to demonstrate disapproval towards this. Street art is illegal and often anonymously performed in our cities. It developed in the late 1970s from the urban graffiti scene in America, and has therefore a lot in common with the graffiti movement.

Playboy is a magazine that, for more than a half century, has been mostly known to the wider audience for its stylized pictures of naked women. What a lot of people do not know is that the magazine, with its editor in chief Hugh Hefner in the lead, has been frontrunners in human rights. Playboy has been fighting protecting the right of freedom of speech, fighting for equal rights for all people during the civil rights movement and supported the feminist movement by funding precedent cases on abortion rights. According to a series of text analyses by Beggan & Allison (2000, 2002b) Playboy?s editorial direction contradicted conventional definitions of masculinity. Also, the magazine portrayed its Playmates with complex identities that, in many cases, contained a number of traditionally masculine abilities.In this thesis we have done a critical discourse analysis of the Playboy interview and how the gender of its subject is portrayed by the magazine.

To study this change two hypotheses have been constructed. The first hypothesis concerns the change within Sverigedemokraterna and the second hypothesis concerns the change of the Swedish voters attitudes.Kirchheimers catch-all theory is used to explain the change in Sverigedemokraterna. The catch-all theory states that parties have to change their structure to maximise the number of votes.

Äldreriktat tal avser kommunikationsanpassningar gentemot äldre liknande de som görs till små barn. Anpassningarna sker inom flera språkliga domäner och är en del av äldres kommunikativa miljö. Ämnet är relativt outforskat och få eller inga studier har gjorts i Sverige. Föreliggande studies syfte var att undersöka eventuell förekomst av äldreriktat tal, samt beskriva dess karakteristika då personal på olika typer av boenden för äldre samtalar med en äldre.Deltagare är fem personer som arbetar på olika former av boenden för äldre. Samtal mellan personal och äldre samt samtal mellan personal och en kollega spelades in och grovtranskriberades.
