The purpose of this study has been to analyze how managers within the elderly care who operate according to the Social Services Act work to support the assistant nurses with the social documentation. In order to achieve my purpose and to be able to answer the research questions, a qualitative approach was selected. My empirical material consists of seven interviews, four with assistant nurses and three with managers. Anthony Giddens? structuration theory in Månsson, (2003 s. 422) has been my theoretical starting-point and the concepts of practical and discursive consciousness have been used in the analysis.

Large-scale land investments is not a new phenomenon, but increasing prices on food and agrofuels have inflated prices on land and has led to an enhanced interest in landinvestments from a range of different actors. The ProSavana project in the Nacala corridor in the Nampula province, northern Mozambique is a large-scale land investment with the purpose of establishing intensive commercial agriculture and is planned to be implemented this year (2013). The project is financed by Brazil and Japan in collaboration with the government of Mozambique. It is not quite clear how large-scale land investments affect the areas they are implemented in and how they can affect the possibilities for sustainable development in these areas. Both opportunities and problems can be observed within the social, economic and ecological dimensions of sustainable development.

Den här studien handlar om konstens möjligheter i mellanmänskliga möten utifrån en öppen verksamhet kallad "Skaparkväll", som bedrivs i en mellansvensk stad inom ramen för Svenska kyrkan. Studien syftar till att få en fördjupad förståelse av några deltagares personliga upplevelser av verksamheten med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer. Med inspiration från en hermeneutisk ansats tolkas intervjuerna samt blir belysta genom en teoretisk förståelseram. På så sätt fördjupas förståelsen både för personernas upplevelser samt för verksamheten i allmänhet. Den teoretiska förståelseramen hämtas från traditionen kring Uttryckande konst ? ­Expressive arts ? i huvudsak.

Urban densification as a planning strategy is of interest in the planning context of today. It is also seen as a part of the sustainable development. Urban densification as a concept is commonly used in the discussion of a sustainable development. Thus, the question about urban densification is an important challenge in the current planning context. A deeper understanding of the process which urban densification has developed from is necessary, since planners then will be more able to manage this challenge.

Bakgrund: Få donationer sker i Sverige idag, det kan därför vara svårt att erhålla och upprätthålla professionell kompetens. Forskning har visat på en uppfattning att potentiella donatorer ibland förbises på grund av organisationsmässiga brister i struktur och riktlinjer. Även bristande kunskap och ett behov av mer utbildning finns beskrivet i flertal studier.Syfte: Att undersöka hur intensivvårdssjuksköterskor uppfattar sin kunskap och beredskap gällande organdonationsprocessen.Metod: Studien var empirisk med kvalitativ ansats. En fokusgruppintervju genomfördes som datainsamling, urvalet bestod av intensivvårdssjuksköterskor som var verksamma på en allmän intensivvårdsavdelning. Innehållsanalys användes för att bearbeta materialet.Resultat: I resultatet framkom fyra huvudkategorier och nio subkategorier.

Då någon drabbas av allvarlig sjukdom eller skada som hotar livet påverkas inte bara den sjuke utan också alla i den sjukes närhet. Att som närstående vara barn i denna situation kan vara oerhört traumatiskt. För att vi som vårdpersonal ska kunna hjälpa och stötta barnen och familjen behövs kunskap om hur barn upplever denna situation och vilka behov som finns hos dem. Syftet med studien är att beskriva barns upplevelse av att vara närstående till en svårt sjuk person. Med svår sjukdom/skada valdes i denna uppsats någon som vårdas på en intensivvårdsavdelning eller drabbats av cancersjukdom.

Background: Critical conditions to become an attractive supplier of knowledge based IT-services in the B2B market are many. Besides the fact of supplying a service of high quality one must as a supplier communicate values which are understandable and desirable for a new buyer. Buying a knowledge based IT-service involves several risks; the consultant might not have sufficient knowledge or have difficulties understanding the corporate culture and collaborating with other staff within the client?s organization. Since services are intangible offers and it can be intricate to put right price level for something which can only be evaluated when the project is finished, puts severe strain on suppliers competing with other companies in the same market when looking for new clients.

Utgångspunkten för denna litteraturstudie är att ventilatorassocierad pneumoni (VAP) går att förebygga. Syftet med detta arbete var att kartlägga olika evidensbaserade munvårdsmetoder som används av intensivvårdssjuksköterskor för att förebygga VAP hos ventilatorbehandlade patienter. Syftet var också att belysa vilka faktorer som påverkar intensivvårdssjuksköterskans utförande av evidensbaserad munvård till ventilatorbehandlade patienter. Studien utfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie. Till resultatet användes 16 vetenskapliga artiklar.

Frågeställning:Hur arbetar CreActive för att främja det sociala kapitalet? Hur kan CreActive främja det sociala kapitalet i en kreativ miljö? Hur underlättas mötet mellan människor på CreActive? Finns det förbättringsmöjligheter för att ytterligare främja det sociala kapitalet på CreActive?Syfte:Syftet med studien är att beskriva hur CreActive skapar nytta för sin omgivning. Det kommer även att undersökas kring hur mötet uppstår mellan människor på CreActive som ska främja det sociala kapitalet.Metod:Studien genomfördes med den kvalitativa metoden, eftersom den fångar upp detaljer och information av intervjupersonernas tolkning av verkligheten, det vill säga deras uppfattning, tankar och känslor. Det medför en inblick kring hur CreActive arbetar med mötet mellan människor, för att främja det sociala kapitalet. Empirin består av intervjuer med studenter och anställda.Slutsats:Det framgår att studenter inte känner till CreActive i den utsträckning som CreActive vill.

The purpose of my study is to find out how preschool teachers reason concerning their work withgender equality from outside of the curriculum. I propose the following questions: If there is apositive view over the relevance of gender equality from outside of the curriculum? Does thepreschool teachers think themselves to work with gender equality from outside of the curriculum?Does the preschool teachers have any thoughts on whether working with gender equality will have apositive or negative effect on the children? In what way does the preschool teachers reason on theirown meetings with boys and girls? The method chose to use is a qualitative study that is based oninterviews. I have interviewed four preschool teachers in a small society called Katrineholm. Afterthe interviews I have analyzed the material and split it into themes that has been processed.

The bulk of the research within the field of media and communication is concentrated at theforefront of development, studies focus on modern companies and modern communication.However, many people work in the industry, where the conditions for communication are partly different. The aim of this study is to explore the possibilities for internal communication that the employees have at the base industrial company of Billerud Gruvön, Sweden. How important do they feel that communication is? Can the internal communication within Gruvön be described as modern, where dialogue between the staff is possible, or as orders from the top down to the bottom of the hierarchal structure?These are our research questions:Which channels are used for communication within Gruvön, and how are they used?How important do the employees deem the internal communication to be?Can the communication within a hierarchal industrial company such as Gruvön be described as modern, where dialogue is at the center, or does the communication consist basically on orders from the top down to the bottom of the chain?Our research is based on the following theories: Communication, Organizational communication, Internal communication and Organizational culture. We have looked to earlier research such as the doctorates of Simonsson (2002) and Johansson (2003) to further our understanding.The methods used are interviews with operators, middle management and the informationofficer at Gruvön.

Internet and social media have opened up new possibilities for companies and organisations tocommunicate their brand. It only takes a few seconds to communicate the message of a website to theuser. This indicates the importance of having the intended message of the website communicated clearlyin order to give the user a correct impression of the company or the organisation. When it comes to theconcept design of a website, it?s important that all different parts is presented uniformly.

This study aims to examine how families that during a long time have lived with neuropsychiatric disabilities have experienced their contact with different authorities. The study builds on qualitative interviews with two young people and five parents, from four different families. Focus in the paper lies mainly on the families' experiences of the school and different care sectors.The result shows that there is a great number of aspects as lack of information, lack of knowledge, dislodges between different authorities lack of support from school and care sectors, incorrect medication and shortage of long-term plans for treatment, which the families experienced as problematic. These aspects have also brought dramatic consequences that have strengthened the disabilities' negative effects.The result also shows that the parents are very active and bears a great responsibility for the child's health. The parents are in large extent alone in search for care, arranging meetings, searching for information, taking care of the children's medication etc.

Att vårdas i respirator innebär att den verbala kommunikationsförmågan förloras, vilket kan medföra känslor av frustration och maktlöshet hos patienter. För att uppnå en vårdande relation är samtalet av stor betydelse, vilket försvåras om kommunikationsförmågan är nedsatt. Syftet är att beskriva intensivvårdssjuksköterskors upplevelser av kommunikation med lätt sederade, respiratorbehandlade patienter. En kvalitativ ansats har använts. Halvstrukturerade forskningsintervjuer utfördes med åtta intensivvårdssjuksköterskor från två sjukhus.

Globalization has lead to evolvement of teamwork between companies and their customers. One reason for this change is the growth of the IT community and the propagation of the Internet. This in turn has lead to faster communication within business networks and also a higher degree of integration between companies.The purpose of this thesis is to describe IT can be used to develop and support networks formed around IT corporations. IT also aim at describing what impact usage of IT within personal networks has on usage of IT within business networks. The thesis is limited to IT-companies using IT artifacts, not only for communication within its organization, but also communicating with its customers and other IT-companies.
