En upprörd patient sitter i väntrummet på en akutmottagning. Patienten har väntat på vård i flera timmar och äntligen kommer en sjuksköterska in. Patienten reser sig upp och bereder sig på att följa med. Tyvärr utropar sjuksköterskan någon annans namn och den väntande patienten frågar undrande: ?Ursäkta, när är det min tur?? Problem:Vi anser att det finns problem i arbetsprocessen på akutmottagningen som orsakar att patienten får vänta onödigt länge.

Arbetet är ett examensarbete i högskoleingenjörsutbildningen, inriktning datateknik, på Linnéuniversitet. Växjö kommun är just nu mitt i ett nytt projekt för att sammanställa hela IT-organisationen för att göra servicen för anställda och medborgare bättre. Detta projekt kallas ?Ett IT? och ska sammaställa IT-organisationen till fyra huvudavdelningar. Dessa avdelningar är Servicedesk, Service, System och Utveckling.I samband med dessa förändringar har önskemålet om ett enklare sätt att söka efter personer inom IT-organisationen kommit upp.

A protection helmet for young people (3-7 years) in winter environment has been developed in this thesis. The result is a concept proposal for development at STIGA Sports AB in Eskilstuna. This thesis work has been performed during 20 weeks, for a Master of Science in Product and Process development at Mälardalen University Eskilstuna Sweden in September 2009 to January 2010. The helmet is shown as a CAD model with detailed solutions to the outer shell, interior and adjustability (in sizes 50-56 cm) which are the three focused areas in the development. Also a physical model in scale 1:1 has been developed and is shown in this thesis work.To achieve the best result possible the process started with an analysis of the market and the product.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka tidshantering hos personer med lindrig utvecklingsstörning som bor i kommunalt boende med särskilt service. Frågeställningar; Hur hanterar denna målgrupp sin tid? Om målgruppen hanterar sin tid självständigt gör de det med säkerhet eller osäkerhet?Metod: En kvantitativ studie genomfördes i form av en enkätundersökning. Studien genomfördes i ett län i Mellansverige och riktades sig direkt till personer med lindrig utvecklingsstörning som bor i kommunalt boende med särskild service. Enkäten bestod av fem frågor med fem svarsalternativ.

During year 2007 ClaraHälsan Ltd bought the company health service Solstahälsan in Karlstad. The wide merger of the two health services the problems arose around the employees? employment agreements when certain parts of the agreement differ. This essay describes coordination of the work environment on construction sites where many entrepreneurs share workplace. As employer, the entrepreneur has main responsibility for the workers safety on the construction site, the project supervisor is responsible for the work environment, and to coordinate the work environment a coordinator of the construction work environment is appointed. The purpose of this essay is to describe how the work environment is ensured on a shared workplace. In order to answer the essays questions I?ve used a juridical method to interpret the law.

This is a qualitative study that includes participants that are in connection with a non-civic organization in Sweden. The study aims to capture the participants? subjective experiences regarding human service organizations. The starting point is to catch both their positive and negative experiences, and then try to concretize what directed their perception in both ways. Is there any specific organization that is represented in positive and the negative column? Is it possible to explain the experience by looking at the organization and the organizational goals? Is it possible to see variables that might explain the perception?The study has a narrative focus that seeks the answers in the organisational context rather than in the stories themselves.

I started from a curiosity about how and if unit managers within social services use the concept reflective approach in their leadership role, and how their organizations look upon this and what the consequences are. If in the long term, this affects the individual receiving assistance. All the interviewed persons come from different places, services and organizations. The study is qualitative, with a number of interviews conducted with unit managers.

In modern military operations the requirements of transmitting large amounts of information have increased substantially during the last decade. This increases the demand for high-capacity radio networks. It is also very important that military decisions are made on recent and correct information and this implies that low and known delays are required. The existing military radio ommunications, within the Swedish army, do not meet the requirements for capacity and delay. We have investigated how the capacity and average delay can be improved in an Ad Hoc network with STDMA by using antenna arrays.

The aim of this thesis was to describe the services offered to students with dyslexia, and from a service- and quality perspective describe how the consumers of these services experienced the supplied services. Dyslexia refers to certain problems with the written language. With the demand for students in higher education to accumulate much knowledge through reading, this becomes a question of vital importance. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, and a case study was conducted. The case study covered 'Student support' at the University of Borås and how dyslectic students at the university experienced the help from 'Student support'.

Dagens ledare påverkas av olika faktorer som måste beaktas för att kunna styra ett framgångsrikt företag. Uppsatsens syfte är att utvärdera och analysera UAE-logistics ledarskap genom att undersöka deras internkommunikation utifrån en teoretisk grund. Metoden som används i undersökningen är en gap-analys som används för att se om det råder samstämmighet mellan gruppledarna och de anställda.I slutsatsen besvaras problemfrågan: Vilka faktorer måste den moderna ledaren på tjänsteföretag beakta i sitt ledarskap för att förbli konkurrenskraftig?
