Syfte med vårt arbete var att undersöka hur polismyndigheterna utbildar i Nationell bastaktik och hur de arbetar med mental träning och mental förberedelse efter genomförd utbildning. För att komma fram till vårt resultat gjordes en en-kät som skickades ut till utbildningsansvarig på samtliga polismyndigheter. En av våra slutsatser är att efter genomförd utbildning känner många poliser att de har fått ett högre säkerhetstänkande och därmed känner de sig tryggare i sin polisroll..

For nearly twenty years people have been talking about Product models, but given that the building industry is so conservative, it is hard to implement new working methods. Product models are these days known as Building Information Modeling, BIM. People often say they work with BIM but they often forget the most important part, the information. A 3D model should be linked with characteristics and information. Information that can be invaluable for the facility manager.We have a vision that in the best of worlds the facility manager would be able to "walk" into the model and see what kind of installations are inside the wall or in the roof.

CrCL-ruptur är en av de vanligaste ortopediska skadorna hos hundar. Efter en CrCL-operation är fortsatt rehabilitering en viktig förutsättning för hundens tillfrisknande, men då rehabiliteringen ofta sker på annan ort än den hunden opererades på är det svårt för den ansvariga sjukgymnasten att följa upp och utvärdera rehabiliteringens effekt. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hundägares upplevelser av den postoperativa rehabiliteringen efter att deras hundar genomgått en Tibial Tuberosity Advancement. En enkät med 32 frågor konstruerades i det webbaserade enkätprogrammet EvaSys, och skickades ut via mail eller brev till 36 hundägare vars hundar genomgått en TTA-operation på ett Djursjukhus i Sverige mellan åren 2012-2014. Totalt inkom 18 enkäter, vilket innebar en svarsfrekvens på 50%.

Beyond the binary borders of sex -A LITTERATURE STUDY ABOUT TRANSGENDER THEORY AND ITS POSSIBLE CONTRIBUTION TO A SOCIAL WORK CONTEXT. GERGANA TOSEVA KARIN SELIN A thesis in Social work studies (15 credits) at Malmö University, Hälsa och Samhälle 2012. The discussion about sex and gender is always prominent in a social work context. Our purpose and questions are hence based on the discussion on transgender theory and the way of thinking about the non-binary, and how it relates to the nearby theories. The method of the essay consists of a semi systematic literature overview with the focus on discussing transgender theory in relation to other theories and perspectives, such as modernism, post modernism, feminism and queer theory. We answer the following questions: 1. Is it possible to go beyond or exceed the binary of sex and if so, how do we see it in the material we examined? 2. In what way are the existing theories of sex / gender in the binary? 3. Can one featuring a female embodied subject be of assistance to transgender people's search for an embodied subject? We consider it possible to move beyond the binary by using ?fuzzy logic?(Nagoshi & Brzuzy 2010, Tauchert 2002) which is a way of staying in the binary but expanding the term and work in the grey areas instead.

Fetma är allt vanligare idag, och de senaste åren har förekomsten av fetma ökat och bara i Sverige kan en halv miljon vuxna anses lida av fetma och 2.5 miljoner vara överviktiga. Gastric bypass är en kirurgisk behandling mot övervikt som har fyrdubblats inom en femårs period. En bättre livskvalitet har i olika kvantitativa studier kunnat påvisas efter viktminskning, men osäkert hur livskvaliteten ökar efter kirurgi då det ofta speglas negativt i media. I de kvantitativa studierna kan inga nyanser av upplevelser urskiljas. Syftet med denna undersökning var därför att beskriva den subjektiva upplevelsen hos personer som genomgått en gastric bypass.

The purpose was to develope a close fitted catwalk.The market has seen an increasing value for these types of applications and have the ambition to keep up with the rest of the competitors. The catwalks of todays standards shall be estetical attractive, have a non slippery surface and be costefficient.While working with this project I have spent a lot of time with the concept proposals and with the evaluation of the concepts, resulting in a final CAD model and a approximation of the cost estimate. SAMMANFATTNING Bakgrund: Whiplashrelaterade besvär är vanligt förekommande efter en bilolycka. En behandling för dessa patienter är steloperation av övre nackkotpelaren. Dock finns lite forskning kring hur detta i allmänhet och i synnerhet ur ett beteendemedicinskt perspektiv kan påverka en patient. Syfte: Var att utvärdera om steloperation av övre nackkotpelaren hade effekt för två patienter med långvariga whiplashrelaterade besvär, avseende vissa beteendemedicinska aspekter innehållande psykologiska och kognitiva funktioner. Metod: Experimentell single?subject studie som innehåller baslinje-, interventions- och uppföljandemätningar (A1-B-A2 design).

This master thesis work was done by two students at Machine Design at KTH for Lesjöfors Stockholmsfjäder AB. The task was to develop a calculation program for gas springs. The program is going to ease the selection of gas springs for a given case of a lid that should be opened. The program is going to be used internal by sales people at Lesjöfors AB in Sweden and internationally. The program is therefore written in English.The program was developed in Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition.

Uppsatsens syfte var att utvärdera ett nyutvecklat formulär, BiS. Formuläret används av Ryggkirurgiska kliniken i Strängnäs för att utvärdera behandlingseffekt efter operation av patienter med ryggbesvär.Formuläret har utvärderats med avseende på validitet och reliabilitet med hjälp av statistiska mått för ordningskonsistens och enighet.Utifrån den statistiska bearbetningen samt saklogiska resonemang har vi dragit slutsatsen att formuläret har hög validitet och reliabilitet..

The accounting information system comprises budgeting, accounting, and costing. The accounting information system has, traditionally, constituted an integrated system where the different elements collaborate. If ABC is introduced this order is disturbed, since ABC is based on another logic which cannot easily be integrated with budget and accounting. ABC, therefore, is usually used parallely to the conventional costing method. There are, however, companies that have taken its ABC one step further by letting it replace the old costing model and integrate it with the accounting information system.

SAMMANFATTNINGBakgrundVid ett cancerbesked ges mycket information som kan ge psykologiska reaktioner hos patienten.  Att ge individuellt stöd, information och ett bra bemötande är viktigt för att patienten ska känna sig trygga och delaktig i sin vård.SyfteAtt utvärdera bröstcancerpatientens upplevelse av information, stöd, bemötande och delaktighet i samband med sitt återbesök hos kontaktsjuksköterska efter operation på Bröstmottagning.MetodEn tvärsnittsstudie med kvantitativ ansats då huvudfokus var patientens upplevelse av information, stöd, bemötande och delaktighet. Patienterna fick svara på en elektronisk enkät direkt efter sitt återbesök på mottagningen. Totalt svarade 48 patienter på enkäten.Resultat Resultatet visade en mycket hög nöjdhetsgrad bland bröstcancerpatienter vad gäller information, stöd, bemötande och delaktighet i samband med återbesöket hos kontaktsjuksköterskan efter bröstkirurgi. Äldre kvinnor var mer nöjda med informationen jämfört med de yngre.

This study intends to examine the impact of a well known debate page in one of Sweden?s biggest newspapers, Dagens Nyheter. We have done this by analysing Ekot, Aktuellt, Göteborgs Posten and Västerbottens-Kuriren to see to what extent they ?take? news from the debate page.The method used was content analysis and to describe some of our thoughts about how we placed the hits in different categories we chose eight of our hits to exemplify.The material from the newspapers, radio and television was examined to discover the potential impact from the debate page.To carry out this study we have mainly used theories about how media get influenced by each other?s news and how they do follow-ups and refer to the original media. Other theories of importance for our study are for example those about what kinds of events that become news and how media influences people?s thoughts about what?s important.One of the most important conclusions we were able to draw after carrying out our study was that the debate page in Dagens Nyheter has quite a small impact on what our chosen media reported on.
