Hair care is a hygienic treatment and is supervised by the Local Environment and Public Health Committee in the municipality. According to the Swedish Environmental Code, hairdressers as all practitioners are required to take measurements to protect the environment and public health. In hygienic treatments hazards may arise from inadequate hygiene practice which spread infection. Hazards may also arise from the use of hair care products such as permanent wave solutions, bleaches and hair dyes. Some hair dye components are known to cause contact allergy, mostly in hair dressers who are exposed professionally but also in some cases in consumers.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how a local community, and those who dwell within its borders, are affected when a large scale windmill park is planned in its immediate vicinity. I have used a qualitative approach and conducted semi structured interviews to gather empirical data. The study took place in a small Swedish village named Svartnäs, situated in the region Dalarna.I have used the concept of community as a symbolic construction (Cohen 1984), that together with the theory of structuration (Giddens 1984) and the notion of expert system (Giddens 1996) served as my main theoretical perspectives.Even though the windmill park is not built yet, its impact on the people and the local community of Svartnäs has been considerable. In the traces of the new windmill park new options and constraints, that will play an important role in the lives of the people who dwell in Svartnäs, are arising. The windmill project is enlarging old conflicts and is creating a divided village.

Ämnesområdet för denna uppsats är fascismen i Sverige efter andra världskriget. Uppsatsens huvudsakliga syfte är att undersöka Per Engdahls ideologi efter andra världskriget utifrån den fascitiska ideologins struktur. Uppsatens sekundära syfte är att undersöka om hans ideologi förändrades efter andra världskriget, om den gjorde det och vad det kan berott på. I uppsatsen har fyra olika politiska program från Nysvenska rörelsen undersökts, alla skrivna av Per Engdahl, mellan åren 1958 till 1979. I uppsatsen har en ideologianalys använts som metod för att dels undersöka det manifesta samt det latenta budskapet i Engdahls politiska program.

En ny gymnasiereform har trätt i kraft under hösten 2011och syftet med den nya gymnasiereformen var att öka statusen och kvaliteten på de yrkesförberedande programmen. Det har också skett en förändring i behörighetskraven vilket betyder att det är större skillnader mellan högskole- och yrkesförberedande program. Valet mellan högskole- och yrkesförberedandeprogram kan därmed bli avgörande för framtida universitetsstudier. Vi har undersökt betydelsen av studie- och yrkesvägledningen där faktorer som styr utfallet av den direkta kontakten av studie- och yrkesvägledningen redovisas. Vårt resultat visar att den nya gymnasiereformen 2011 har påverkat elevernas val mellan högskole- och yrkesförberedande program.

In Sweden and in the rest of the world we face the problem how to create a sustainable development. At the same time the Swedish million program, a housing program made in the 1960:s and 1970:s, is facing a renewal due to lack of maintenance during many years. An attempt to join these two interests has been made in the residential area of Gårdsten north of Gothenburg. This paper is a case study to review the project and its approach to the sustainability concept. The purpose is to spread knowledge about the problems that can arise. By studying documentation about the reconstruction I have analyzed the approach that has been used. The housing company?s starting point was user participation and an intention to make the changes visible.

I stort behandlar uppsatsen plagiat på gymnasiet. Tidigare forskning visar att plagiat ökat och att internet gjort det enklare för elever att fuska och plagiera. Även nya studenter tycks sakna tillräcklig kunskap om referat- och citatteknik. Syftet är att är att få en inblick i hur lärare reflekterar kring och arbetar med plagiat på ett studieförberedande program på gymnasiet samt se om det råder några skiljaktigheter mellan lärarna. Jag har gjort en kvalitativ metod och använt mig av semistrukturerade intervjuer.

Siffror om könsfördelning inom IT-branschen och på högre tekniska utbildningar talar sitt tydliga språk. Andelen män inom ämnesområdena data och teknik är ofta betydligt större än andelen kvinnor. Detta kan ge till följd att samhället går miste om en stor del potentiella begåvningar. En jämnare könsfördelning brukar dessutom resultera i ett trevligare och gemytligare klimat. För att öka intresset bland kvinnliga studenter för vissa IT-utbildningar har en del universitet och högskolor ändrat utbildningsformer och innehåll.

The Master of Science in Energy Systems Engineering program at Uppsala University started in 2000 and 221 students has graduated since. This master thesis aims to answer what competencies alumni considers most important for successful professional practice. It also seeks to find out how these competencies are reflected in the program to identify potential gaps between importance and how the competencies are being prepared. With inspiration from similar research a method has been developed consisting of two steps: (1) A survey and (2) interviews with alumni. The alumni survey rates the professional importance of 13 competencies and how well the corresponding competency is prepared in the program.

The meaning of this study is to see how a suspected murderer is presented in the Swedish newspapers Expressen and Falu Kuriren. We want to see how two Swedish newspapers, a local- and an evening paper, presented Anders Eklund, who killed the ten year old girl Engla Ho?glund in 2008, from the day after her disappearing and almost a month ahead.When we analysis the resolution to the study we could see that both papers presented Anders Eklund like a convicted murderer after he admitted the murder of Engla Ho?glund, even if the court had not sentenced him yet. Even when Anders Eklund was anonymous, you can through the various denominations witch were produced in the papers speculate on who the murderer is.Even that it is a case study, we can see with the previous research tends that a suspected murderer is produced in this way in Swedish newspapers. We could also see that the evening paper where more likely to present sensation and drama to the texts than the local paper did. .

ABSTRACTIntroduction: An increasing number of patients undergo surgery under local anesthesia and are thereforeawake during the procedure. Nursing care that is provided to these patients can differ from those thatreceive general anesthesia. Previous research has focused on patients? general experiences of being awakeintraoperative. But there is no research that focuses on patients perceptions of security.

The main objective of this thesis was to develop appropriate strategies and find factors that affect the usability of parameterized designs. This was accomplished by investigate the user-interface and how it is designed to meet the user's information needs. The thesis also embraces the basic theories in terms of investigation, cognitive design principles and human behavior patterns in the interaction with the machine. The approach has led to an explorative investigation in this subject area.The thesis also had the purpose to achieve more efficient ways for development of motor chainsaws at Husqvarna AB's department Global Cutting Equipment. That can be achieved through reduce costs of development per sold unit.

The DISA method is a universal program developed for teenage girls to prevent depression. The program includes cognitive behavioral techniques are suppose to change negative pattern of thinking, give practice of communication, strategies of problem solution and exercises to strengthen the social network. The purpose of this study is to find out how a group of teenage boys were affected by the DISA program and what factors that may have impacted the outcome. Material from three different studies have been used, a quantitative study in terms of data from self-assessment form CES-D, materials from two semi-structured focus group interviews with the boys and material from a questionnaire filled out by the boys on two occasions during the DISA method. The result of the CES-D indicates that the boys had less depressive symptoms after the final group meeting compared to the first group meeting and also a year later. Analysis of the material from focus group interviews and questionnaire have been made from a communication theory and systems theory perspective and indicate a shift to greater cohesion in the group and demonstrates that communication between the boy-group and group leaders had importance for the outcome.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to study the effects that geographical distance have on the control systems in a scattered organization and how this, ultimately, affects the employees in terms of loyalty and motivation. In order to do this, a case study has been conducted on a multinational travel group and its local branches in Thailand. The study is based on a selected number of theories focusing mainly on control systems in multinational contexts as well as on theories regarding communication and autonomy. The conclusion of the study is that geographical distance has led to a rather large autonomy for the local branches and that the headquarter to a large extent rely more on formal control.

En översiktsplan är ett strategiskt politiskt dokument om byggande, mark- och vattenanvändning samt hushållning med naturresurser. Översiktsplanen beskriver inriktningen för långsiktig utveckling av kommunens fysiska miljö, vägleder, vid konkreta beslutstagande om mark- och vattenområdens användning samt redovisar hur hänsyn till riksintressen och miljökvalitetsnormer enligt Miljöbalken tas. 2007 startade kommunen ett arbete med att ta fram en långsiktig vision för Luleå kommuns framtid vilket resulterade i ett visionsdokument ?Vision Luleå 2050? som beskriver strävan mot ett önskvärt (?idealt?) tillstånd och blev godkänt av kommunfullmäktige 2008. Med strävan efter medvetna val inför framtiden påbörjade kommunen ett stegvist arbete med konkretisering av Visionen.
