In modern health care, the quality registry is anexcellent tool to monitor everyday work. Collected data forms a foundation, presented as online reports, from which local work efforts to refine care quality can be performed. All reports are coded manually by specially trained developers. This is a tedious process and hence becomes a bottleneck in the strive for improvement.This thesis evaluates whether an extended way of dealing with reports can fit into the existing work situation, with main focus on the idea of creating custom reports directly within a quality registry. It provides a set of conclusions regarding today's usage of reports as well as the users' general and specific needs within the area.

The paper evaluates two housing proposals with Space syntax as method. The proposals are very different in a topological sense but are in a configural sense almost the same. This effect is because both proposals connect themselves to the existing configural structure of the city in the same way. Neither of them takes advantages of the most integrated streets in the existing structure and use them to concentrate pedestrian and car flows to the streets or points which are intended to be the most urban areas. The knowledge of Space syntax and this evaluation puts focus on the pour understanding among architects and planners of what effect urban design proposals will have..

Today most ice rinks in Sweden use secondary refrigeration systems with a solution of calcium chloride and water as secondary refrigerant. Due to the large amount of energy such a system uses more efficient systems would be desired.An earlier study concluded in the possibilities of using carbon dioxide as secondary refrigerant with copper tubes as the loops in the ice rink. Since then 3 ice rink refrigeration systems has been built with carbon dioxide in copper tubes. Excluding the ones being direct involved in those projects there is still very little knowledge about how these system works. This study has been made primarily with the aim of adding to the knowledge concerning availability and cost and secondary to look at possibilities for improvement.A comparison between systems with carbon dioxide, calcium chloride respective ammonium solved in water has been made by using Decision Matrix.

I byggnaden ska det finnas kontorslokaler som Videum AB kan hyra ut till andra företag. Kravet är att planlösningen ska vara flexibel och kreativ. Uthyrningsprocenten ska vara högsta möjliga vilket undersöks med hjälp av utvalda nyckeltal.

New forms of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have become more influential in development contexts. The concept of ?The Digital Divide? points at a large division between rich and poor countries regarding access to ICTs. Critics say that the debate concerning this topic for far too long has focused mainly on the technology itself rather than social factors which impact social inclusion and development. Scholars agree that ICTs holds a tremendous potential, but how is this implemented in development contexts and how can it be used with more sensitivity towards local preconditions and social aspects?This paper aims to examine how ICTs are being used in the context of development within an India based organisation for women called SEWA (Self Employed Women?s Association).

In this work, a method was developed and evaluated for calculating the life of welds under the influence of fatigue loads from a vibration environment. Typically, a shaker table is used for testing a component against vibration loads. The shaker table creates a vibration environment that is defined in the frequency domain by a power spectrum.Similarly, a virtual vibration table can be used to calculate the same type of load environment, which can then be used to calculate the expected lifetime. The benefit of this method is that it can be used in design, as well as in simulation of tests before physical verification tests are carried out.Today there are methods for calculating fatigue life of non-welded base material, but since many components contain welded joints, there is a need to apply this method to those types as well. To achieve this, the thesis combines two different areas, which together provide a method for fatigue assessment of welds using a virtual shaker table.The methodology is carried out by modeling the component, and its welded joints, in a finite element program.

Försvarsmakten har köpt in en ny typ av ammunition till Ak 5 och Ksp 90,miljöammunition. Den nya ammunitionen har en stålkärna istället för en blykärna. Föratt vikten på projektilen skall vara den samma har projektilen gjorts något längre.Eftersom stål har andra materialegenskaper än bly kommer den nya projektilen (5,56mm sk ptr 5B stkprj) att studsa, rikoschettera annorlunda än den gamla.Rikoschetter utgör en risk för såväl egna förband som tredje person vilket gör att det ärav största vikt att förstå fenomenet, försöka minimera sannolikheten för att rikoschettska uppstå och att uppdatera säkerhetsföreskrifterna. Försvarsmakten har under 2011initierat ett rikoschettprojekt på FOI med inriktning mot finkaliberammunition ochriskområdesberäkningar. Inom ramen för detta behövs modeller för att kunna förutsägarisken för rikoschett mot olika målmaterial.Detta examensarbete syftar till att ge en analys av tillgängliga rikoschettmodeller medfokus på vilka fall som kan hanteras, vilka indata som krävs och vilka resultat modellenkan förutsäga (t.ex.

Vi har uppmärksammat att användandet av butiksklassificeringar i form av flaggskepps- och konceptbutiker har ökat de senaste åren. Fler och fler svenska varumärkesleverantörer kommunicerar nu aktivt ut vilken av deras butiker som är flaggskepps- respektive konceptbutiken. Dessutom har vi uppmärksammat till att den klusterbildning som delat upp Stockholm blir tydligare och tydligare - flaggskeppsbutiker i området kring Bibliotekstan och konceptbutiker på Södermalm. ?? This thesis has been a part of Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB's evaluation of a turbulencemodel used in simulation of turbulent flow called PRNS (Partially Resolved NumericalSimulation). This model has promising properties and may be of use in savingcomputational resources. The purpose of this thesis was to analyze this model andcompare it with industrially applied models such as k-omega SST and LES (Large EddySimulations).PRNS works as a hybrid of the k-omega SST and DNS (Direct Numerical Simulation)where a constant, RCP (Resolution Control Parameter) with a value between 0 and 1are selected. This constant is then used in the calculations and determines thebehavior of the simulation. When RCP is set to zero the equation are the same as fora DNS simulation and when RCP is set to one the equations for k-omega SST issolved.

Den här rapporten behandlar inkörning av kuggyta med hänsyn till glidhastighet, last och dess inverkan då manganfosfat används som ytbeläggning, och görs för Volvo Powertrain. För att sänka miljöpåverkan och uppnå de stränga lagkrav, vad gäller utsläpp, behöver Volvo öka förståelsen för vad som händer vid inkörningen av växellådan. Det här arbetet görs som en del av Volvos forskning inom området inkörning.Ett tribologiskt test har utförts med hjälp av en pinne-på-skiva tribometer. Detta gör det möjligt att variera olika parametrar och studera dess inverkan under inkörningsperioden. För att kunna göra en jämförelsestudie har en låg och en hög nivå initierats med avseende på glidhastighet och pålagd last.

Siemens Building Technologies (SBT) tillhandahåller och underhåller byggnadsautomationslösningar. För att serva deras underhållsorganisation har de 51 stycken servicelager runt om i landet. På dessa lager lagerhålls artiklar som behövs för att uppfylla deras serviceavtal gentemot kund. Företaget anser att det finns för mycket kapital bundet i dessa lager och att deras omsättningshastigheter är för låga. Examensarbetets syfte är att utvärdera SBT:s lagerstruktur och utarbeta ett arbetssätt som företaget kan använda vid bestämning av sortiment och lagernivåer för att sänka deras totala lagerkostnad.

The purpose of the thesis has been to explore the use of hedge fund styles when constructing portfolios of hedge funds (i.e. funds of hedge funds). The central question is if the use of hedge fund styles can significantly explain and improve risk adjusted returns (characterized by Sharpe ratios). The study has been done in collaboration with Optimized Portfolio Management AB who desire further knowledge and evaluation of hedge fund styles for their fund of hedge funds.To be able to create successful ex ante portfolios we have explored various prediction models for both risk and return. Our findings indicate that return prediction is problematic using simple models such as regression since the risk exposure of the indices appear to change significantly over time.

This essay contains a discoursive analysis of fifteen travel reports from five of the largest papers in Sweden. The travel reports contains recaptions from wildlife tourism experiences were the predators are the main target, or at least one of the main targets. Seven of the reports are from Sweden and eight of them from Russia, Rumania, Finland, Turkey and the United States. Predators in this essay aims to those in Sweden called ?the big five?, these are: bears, wolves, lynxes , wolverines and golden eagles.
