Trots allt jämställdhetsarbete i dagens samhälle innehar män fortfarande en större andel chefspositioner än kvinnor. Det finns många teorier som försöker förklara varför det förhåller sig så. Syftet med denna uppsats är att förklara eventuella skillnader i rekryterares attityder till kvinnors och mäns förutsättningar att nå chefspositioner inom dagligvaruhandeln. Vi har genomfört intervjuer med rekryteringsansvariga i tre dagligvarubutiker i Skåne. Resultaten från dessa har sedan jämförts med befintliga teorier och tidigare undersökningar i ämnet chefsrekrytering.

The word mathematics is often associated to addition, subtraction, division or multiplication. This is not the kind of mathematics that belongs to pre-school. This study is based on narratives from two victims of violence. A raped old woman has turned to be the core of this narrative of narrative. She is both a narrator and the head person in her narrative. Her narrative turned out to be a dialogue between two genres namely her trauma story and her life story. By experience violence has been associated with masculinity and powr, which is discussed in some detail.

A relatively new sector in the world is the one concerning social enterprises and their development. Social enterprises are enterprises that are working with social objectives, their goal is not to make as much money as possible. This essay is looking at the development in social enterprises in two countries; Great Britain and Sweden and how the employee numbers in the enterprises have changed over time. The result shows a large increase in the number of employees in the enterprises in Sweden, however the enterprises in Great Britain does show a declining number of employees. This essay also tries to examine whether a couple of external factors, taken from a series of already existing theories, are affecting the possibility of development in these enterprises.

According to the European Union waste hierarchy, waste should first of all be minimized. Reuse and material and energy recycling come next. Lastly the waste should be thrown at the refuse tip. In the inner city of Stockholm waste handling can be done in various types of ways. The solutions vary as a result of the type of architecture of the building and its condition.

Vi alla konsumerar olika livsmedel på ett eller annat sätt även om det är med mycket skiftande perspektiv. Det man konsumerar är heller inte statistiskt, utan förändras vid olika situationer som livet ger. Konsumtionen uppfyller olika behov hos olika individer och mycket påverkar ens val. Vägen från bonden till konsument blir allt längre som gör att konsumenter vill ha mer information om slutprodukterna för att kunna värdera produkten med sina referensramar.Bakgrund: Livsmedel som produceras och säljs i affären ska betraktas som att de är självklara att konsumera säkert.

Syftet med den här studien är att empiriskt undersöka hur ett relaterat diversifierat företag kan ta tillvara de möjligheter till synergieffekter, som flera olika produktgrupper ger. Vi har undersökt detta genom en kvalitativ fallstudie på Procordia Food. Där undersökte vi tillvaratagandet av synergier som genereras av osynliga resurser - kunskapsöverföring. Utifrån en analys av Procordia Foods organisation, i förhållande till den referensram vi har valt att använda oss av, formulerade vi följande hypoteser: Hypotes 1 - Den begränsade medvetenheten om synergiers innebörd hos relaterat diversifierade företag förhindrar att en potential för effektivisering utnyttjas. Hypotes 2 - Relaterat diversifierade företag går miste om potentiella fördelar då de inte utformar organisationsstrukturen efter synergigenererande faktorer.

This paper sets out to investigate how companies can create advertisement that focus not only on selling but also on entertainment. The research is based on seven TV-commercials produced by the Swedish food chain ICA. The commercials were analyzed according to the methods of discourse analysis, semiotic analysis and rhetorical analysis. Furthermore, the research compares the analysis made with the thoughts and ideas of Tobias Karlsson, Head of marketing and communications development at ICA to find out how the comprehension of the commercials correlate with the original intentions made by the company.The study shows that ICA creates a commercial that contains the perfect mix of rhetorical approaches, communication strategies and entertainment mixed with gravity. The study also shows that ICA fails with its primary goal which is to sell selected products; however, by producing the entertaining commercials, they manage to strengthen their brand.

En omprogrammering av Kvarteret Domherren från dagens slutna byggnad med sin arkitekturskoleverksamhet, till ett levande kvarter med studentbostäder, arbetsplatser och offentlig verksamhet, vilken bedrivs av de studenter som bebor platsen. Den offentliga verksamheten domineras av en stor publik parkyta, vilken bryggar an mot den befintliga byggnaden. Under denna finns stora utställningshallar, café/bar och butik. Utställningarna kommer främst uppifrån de studenter och forskare som verkar uppe på KTH campus, och blir en publik brygga mellan campusområdet och allmänheten vilken bidrar till inblick, inspiration och förståelse av de spännande arbeten och projekt som bedrivs där. As of 2013, around 51 million people were living on the run, classified as refugees. One of the reasons the number has increased so much during the last years can be explained by the war in Syria. The aim of following study is to evaluate the impact the Syrian refugee flow has had on the Turkish society up until today, seeing the consequences of economic, political and social impact made on the Turkish society. Due to these chosen aspects the study will be concentrated only on the changes in the Turkish society brought about accordance with economic, political and social effects. What is desirable is to achieve greater understanding of the positive and negative aspects of refugee flows on host countries.

Sveriges nötköttsproduktion har stadigt gått ner de senaste åren. Stora livs-medelsföretag såsom McDonalds har svårt att säkerställa sin leverans utav svenskt nötkött. Studien fokuserar på Österrike, om hur de arbetar för att säkerställa förekomsten av inhemskt nötkött som är av hög kvalitet och hur de säkerställer lönsamhet samt tillväxt i hela värdekedjan. Österrike är ett land som idag har en självförsörjningsgrad på 142 procent, jämfört med Sverige som ligger på 52 procent i självförsörjningsgrad. Uppsatsen är en teoretisk undersökning av hållbara leverantörskedjor, där fokus ligger på maktförhållanden inom leverantörskedjan. McDonalds Sve-rige och Sveriges nötköttsproducenter (SNP) är de som står bakom efterfrå-gan om den övergripande studien, som kommer att göra en jämförelse mel-lan länder i Europa (Irland, Storbritannien och Österrike). I Österrike har det tagits fram merbetalningsprogram för att lantbrukaren ska få bättre betalt.

This essay discusses immigrants? prospects of constructing an identity in a multicultural society like Sweden. The discussion is primarily theoretical but offers a few empirical examples to demonstrate its relevance. Projektet innebär en nyprogrammering och ombyggnad av en stor 60-talsbyggnad, belägen framför det nationalromantiska "Kontrollkontoret" i Solna, Tomteboda. Det nya förslaget innebär yteffektiva student och forskarbostäder i mångfald. Från enkilda boendeceller till gemensamma boenden och radhusliknande lägenheter. Detta för att möta den efterfrågan av bostäder som ständigt ökar och för att anpassa den ekonomiska aspekten i att bygga bostäder så nära Stockholms city. En central fråga har varit att anpassa boendet efter buller, då platsen är utsatt för buller från olika håll; järnväg & motorväg.

The importance of daylight for humans has been known for a rather long time. Applying this knowledge in the science of urban planning is not very common, at least not in Stockholm, Sweden. Living in a country far from the equator with great differences between daylight and darkness during the year, daylight gets even more important for our wellbeing. This study aims to highlight the subject of daylight planning and contribute to the discussion about how to include daylight in the process of urban planning. By critically observing a new built district in Stockholm and applying guidelines of how to use daylight planning, this paper shows how important it is to include daylight planning early in the process.
