The purpose of this study has been to find out what possibilities the journalists at the newspaper Aftonbladet have to live up to the proposed ideas and values that defines journalism, as well as how these values are presented to the readers. With this as a starting-point we have studied what kind of society Aftonbladet presents to its readers as well as how this society is supposed to work and also what it`s like. To be able to answer this question we have first researched through theories and earlier studies, literature about journalism, media science, semiotics, history and laws. With the help of the investigation we found fitting tools to perform the analysis. With the theory as groundwork we have, through the qualitative approach analyzed seven news articles from seven Aftonbladet newspapers during one week.Our study shows that the Afonbladet?s journalists have not been able to present occurrences in society in a correct and impartial manner - because they exaggerate insignificant details and neglect to show real attention to serious societal structures by using sensationalism, dramatization and a very superficial approach to the stories that they are conveying.

This report has been done in collaboration with SCA Skog, Norrbottens Forest Management Area. The purpose of the survey is to try to find out what the forest owners who either live in Norrbottens Forest Management area or outside but has their forest holdings in the administrative area has the vision of SCA Forest and their forest services offered by the administration. But also to find out the presences of other timber buying players who procures timber in the administrative area. This study seeks to determine if there are deficiencies that may need changes or improvements to the prevailing conditions in Norrbottens management area. The literature study is about how to design a questionnaire based on what you want to know and what to consider in order to eliminate the problem of constructing a questionnaire. A questionnaire was sent to 400 randomly selected forest owners who have their forest holdings within SCA Forest Norrbotten Management Area. And of the 400, it was 181 respondents with 39 women and 138 men.

Syfte:Mitt syfte med denna uppsats är att ta reda på hur Pippi Långstrump, Tommy samt Annika framställs i dessa två filmer genom en jämförelse mellan de tecknade respektive otecknade karaktärerna.Detta syfte tänker jag uppfylla genom följande frågeställningar:Vilken bild ges av Pippi Långstrump i livefilmen jämfört med den nyare tecknade versionen? Vilka skillnader och likheter finns det? Stämmer den tecknade Pippi-bilden bättre överens med dagens barnkultur?Hur karaktäriseras rollerna Tommy och Annika i respektive film? Vilka skillnader och likheter finns det?Finns det slutligen någonting som man har lagt till respektive tagit bort från liveversionen i den tecknade versionen när det gäller äventyr som Pippi hamnar i? I så fall vad/vilka?Metod:Jag har i denna uppsats använt mig av en kvalitativ metod. Syftet med en kvalitativ metod är att få en djupare kunskap än den som ges med kvantitativa metoder. Det finns dock en mängd olika former av kvalitativ metod och det är vanligt att man som forskare gör egna tillämpningar och tolkningar av metoden. Jag har gjort en jämförande film- och innehållsanalys av filmerna Pippi Långstrump flyttar in som liveversion respektive tecknad version.

Denna studie genomfördes i syfte att jämföra grupp- med Internetbaserad KBT-behandling vid lätt till måttlig depression. Totalt inkluderades 69 personer i studien. Dessa randomiserades till grupp- eller Internetbaserad behandling. Beroendemåtten för depression Hamilton, MADRS-S, BDI användes vid f ör- och eftermätning. En mixed design 2 x 2 ANOVA med en mellangruppsfaktor (live vs Internet) och en tidsfaktor (före och efter behandling) genomfördes för varje beroendemått.

The purpose of this paper was to look at the perception of self-determination for adults with intellectual disabilities from their perspective. We wanted to examine the experience of the space available for self-determination in some key areas of life, and how their own thoughts and ideas have been addressed by others. Through interviews with six people with intellectual disabilities, we have found that a single definition of self-determination is elusive. The key seems to be that you get the opportunity to do what you want, to have your voice heard and to receive and take responsibility. The space for self-determination is perceived by respondents as both large and small.

Vårt syfte med denna studie är att utifrån skrivprocessen undersöka hur elevers skrivarbete tar sig uttryck i skolans år tre. Vi fokuserar studien kring fyra av skrivprocessens faser, stoffsamling, strukturering, respons och bearbetning, samt interaktionens verkan för elevers skrivande. Genom vårt deltagande i ett gemensamt skrivprojekt mellan lärarutbildningen i Umeå och en skola i norra Sverige har vi tillgång till ett undersökningsfält för att genomföra vår empiriska del. Vår studie har en etnografisk ansats. Vi använder oss av deltagande observationer, elevtexter, ljudbandsupptagningar och elevintervjuer.

The aim of the study was to examine the retinal ON- and OFF-pathways of the canine electroretinogram (ERG). The ON- and OFF-pathways are used to distinguish objects from their backgrounds. A dark object is discernible from a lighter background using the OFFpathway and the ON-pathway is used to descry a light object upon a darker background. This study shows that the dog ERG has both ON- and OFF-responses and that these responses can be separated by prolonging the flash duration over 50 ms. The dog OFF-response waveform was more similar to the cat OFF-response than the human OFF-response (Frishman, 2006; Zrenner and Gouras, 1979). In this study six female three-year-old Beagle dogs were included. Both background and flash stimuli were provided by LEDs (light emitting diodes) with a wavelength of 470 nm, a wavelength that is absorbed almost as effectively by the canine M/L-cones as by the S-cones. These stimuli gave ERGs with both ON- and OFF-responses.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att få en inblick i de möjligheter som processorienterat skrivande kan medföra i gymnasieskolans svenskundervisning. Vårt intresse ligger främst i att studera en grupp elevers upplevelser av processorienterat skrivande i det specifika undervisningsförlopp som vi genomfört. Undersökningen har sin grund i ett undervisningsförlopp som Emilia genomfört i en klass som läser första året inom det samhällsvetenskapliga programmet och har följts upp av intervjuer med några av de deltagande eleverna. Undersökningen har som syfte att besvara följande frågeställningar: Vilka positiva aspekter lyfter eleverna fram gällande processorienterat skrivande som metod i svenskundervisningen? Vilken betydelse har arbetets utformning och innehåll för elevernas uppfattning om processorienterat skrivande? Vilka uppfattningar har eleverna om olika typer av respons? Vi har genom undersökningen kunnat se att elevernas upplevelser av arbetet med processorienterat skrivande varit positiva.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att få fördjupade kunskaper i hur lärare i årskurs 3 arbetar med muntliga framställningar och hur de stöttar elever med talängslan. Vi har använt en kvalitativ metod som tillvägagångssätt när vi samlat in vårt material. För att samla in vårt resultat har vi intervjuat sex lärare i årskurs 3.I resultatet har det framkommit att de vanligaste metoderna är redovisningar efter ett avslutat ämnesområde, högläsning samt berättande. Lärarna vill få muntliga framställningar till en naturlig del av undervisningen och därför arbetar de mycket med övningar där eleverna får tala utan att vara förberedda. För att eleverna ska utvecklas som talare arbetar de flesta lärarna med respons på olika sätt.

In this essay I analyze the meaning of the concepts home and at home and the feeling of coming home. What is a home and what different interpretations are there regarding the concepts of home and being at home? What kinds of feelings are aroused by coming home? The world we live in offers great opportunities to travel, which in itself creates a perspective on the meanings of the concepts. The world we live in also forces people to move from their homes, families and countries due to various reasons, which creates various problems and a certain urgency concerning the concepts. I describe basic terms concerning the concepts, both regarding concrete definitions and more abstract notions, and then compare them with my own reflections.         Based on my writing project Coming home I discuss these questions in various ways.

The gathering of people in this way entails both risks and opportunities for businesses. This study aims to explain how the phenomenon of social media has affected trade and service companies in a marketing and communication perspective. The idea for the essay came to us after we had observed how different behaviors in companies? concerning social media could vary a lot, and how we felt that this affected our personal view of the brands.

As a Swedish landscape architecture student living in Australia for five years, I have often wondered if my memories and my associations with the landscape and the nature in Sweden, are the same as other Swedish people living in Melbourne. Most of the Swedish people who live here in Melbourne remember and associate Sweden?s nature and landscape with where they grew up or where they used to live. The plants that most of the Swedish people I asked missed from Sweden were associated to special feelings or activities. The general type of landscape people remember from Sweden is that of a landscape covered in forests, which you can walk freely through. With these memories as a foundation and with inspiration from the Swedish landscape architect Thorbjörn Anderson?s way of creating places, by letting a few strong changes play against the existing elements,2 but also with consideration of the climate and the severe shortage of water that is current in Melbourne, will I create a design concept for the garden surrounding the Swedish Church in Melbourne. Syftet med vår undersökning var att vi ville bli medvetna om och lyfta fram hur pedagogerna kommunicerar med elever kring deras texter, samt att få svar på i vilket syfte pedagogerna arbetar med elevtexter för att främja elevernas skriftliga språkförmåga. För att komma fram till en slutsats har vi ställt frågor kring pedagogers syn på skrivandet och hur de arbetar med skrivandet i sin undervisning, samt hur de ger respons på texter och om de gör någon form av textanalys. Genom vår undersökning kom vi fram till att pedagogerna anser att man inte kan skilja på läsandet och skrivandet, dessa två processer går hand i hand och är båda betydelsefulla för elevens språkutveckling. Pedagogerna lägger också stor vikt vid att eleverna skall prova på att skriva olika texttyper för att få en uppfattning om skrivandets olika aspekter, man lyfter också fram vikten av att ha en mottagare till sin text. Vi kom även fram till att de flesta pedagoger lägger stor vikt vid att försöka individanpassa sitt responsgivande utifrån varje elevs behov, då man är försiktig i sitt förfarande i avsikt att stärka elevens tro på sig själv. Endast ett fåtal pedagoger använder sig av någon direkt form av textanalys som språkutvecklande stöd i sin undervisning..
