Areal is one of the major players in the Swedish market for real estate brokerage of agricultural properties and related additional services. The purpose of this report is to give a better picture of the needs for additional services of property purchasers of Areal. Add-on services are the type of counseling you may need to achieve good economy on an agricultural property. Through a survey of property buyers of Areal information has been collected and compiled. A very good response rate was obtained and the material seemed reliable as it reflected the population in general.

The purpose of this Master Thesis is to investigate the quality of the library service at the City Library of Uddevalla. In particular this thesis will examine the quality of the library service to people who are disabled. This applies particularly to the service to people with reduced ability to move or to see, which also includes people with infirmities due to old age. We also have investigated how well the library itself is adapted to the disabled. In order to get more information about the library service to people who are disabled, we have studied literature on this subject and the Master Thesis contains a summary of those documents.

The aim of this study was to describe how persons with Whiplash associated disorder experience how the pain affects them in their daily life. The design of the study was descriptive with qualitative, individual interviews, questionnaire with background facts of the examination group, and diary notes from persons with pain of WAD. Method for selection was convenience. Through contact with the association of whiplash group in a county in middle of Sweden, the majority of the examination group for the study was found. Five persons where given information about the study, one of them choose not to take part of the study, and one of the persons did not complete the study.

In our world, more than two billion people are living under insecure food conditions and more than eight hundred million people are estimated to be starving. The majority of these people live in developing counties which are poor and often subject of civil war. The past fifty years the main subject of security analysis has been the sovereign and rational state and the threats have been viewed in terms of military and weapons of mass destruction. This has come to change over the last decades and security as a concept has broadened, which better represents the reality of today. Within this broader conceptualization of security the main referent of security is the individual, rather than the state, and threats are not only analyzed from a military point of view, but also seen as threats against human rights and freedoms.

Dagens äldreomsorg kantas av kvalitetsproblem och arbetsmiljöproblem vilket titt som tätt uppdagas i olika mediala skandaler. Sedan en tid tillbaka har äldreomsorgen i Stockholm konkurrensutsatts och idag bedrivs lite mindre än hälften av stadens vård- och omsorgsboenden av privata utförare. Samtidigt anklagas vinstdrivna bolag för att ta ut höga avkastningar istället för att satsa på kvalitén. I denna studie undersöks hur Stockholms stad följer upp och säkerställer att privata utförare tillhandahåller en god äldreomsorg. Studien visar på att kvalitén i dessa verksamheter är komplex att följa upp och kräver en relation präglad av tillit och förtroende mellan kommun och utförare, och uppföljningen har visat sig likna biktens funktion inom den katolska kyrkan.

The number of people that are categorized as being homeless in the Swedish society are increasing. This might be an indication that the methods being used today shows not to be working efficient enough. A group of researchers connected to the University of Lund are now in a process to spread new workingmethods against the problems with homelessness in Sweden. Their goal is to completely erase homelessness as a social problem. This new method of working is distinctively different from the one currently beeing used.

People recieving social assistance is today very common in Swedish society. Of those receiving social assistance single mothers is one ofthe largest groups. The purpose of this study is to examine how single mothers with social assistance experience themselves to be treated by social services, how this treatment affects their confidence in the social services and how they experience it is to live with social assistance. To answer the question, we use qualitative interviews with three clients. Previous research has shown that single mothers receiving social assistance experience vulnerability, and how they perceive it is affected by how they are treated by their social secretaries.

The purpose of our master thesis was to investigate how a multicultural society is reflected in childrens books picture books, books for children and young people, published in 2002. We found this issue interesting since children of today experience a change in society, where people of many ethnicities, cultures and religions live together to a greater extent than before. Since children in their everyday life are exposed to these different cultures, we think they also should be exposed to them in the books they read. In order to enhance an understanding of why such books are important to children, especially immigrant children, we have in our thesis included a passage with childrens linguistic development, identification and stereotypes. Other passages concern libraries and their roles in a multicultural society.

Böckerna blir undersökta utifrån retorikens grundtankar, med läroplanens mål om anpassning till situation och mottagare som en grundläggande bas. Syftet har varit att granska hur och i vilken utsträckning ämnet retorik behandlas i läroböcker för svenska på gymnasieskolan.De olika läroböckerna är riktade mot yrkesförberedande- och studieförberedandeprogram, men målen som finns i läroplanen är desamma för alla program. Eftersom läroplanen ställer krav på anpassning till situation och mottagare i tal och skrift krävs det att eleverna får lära sig metoder för att anpassa. In order to be a good teacher according to preferences from outside the school area, there are many different voices to listen to. The different roles that are assigned for teachers are colliding with the latest research from the pedagogical institutions and therefore the role as a teacher of today is in a complex state of mind. Somewhere, between the traditional role of teaching and the moderating ideal image, reality is revealed in the ambivalent role of the teacher of today. In this pedagogical essay on advanced level we are focusing on obstacles that are hindering the moderating teacher?s role, to be fully developed in the classroom.

AbstractThe purpose of my essay was through economically, socially and psychologically aspects examine the impact Bethesda Children´s Ministry made on families. Special interest have been taken to how Bethesda is dealing with responsibility and expectations. Also I´ve been interested in which vital change the boy have gone through during the rehabilitation? I´ve got the information from staff, parents and former street boys through interviews done in Kenya.The first result showed that rehabilitation at Bethesda means socialisation of the boy, from the behaviour of the street, to a functional family member. A great change for the boy was stopping using drug and start live in a family.

The purpose of our study was to identify and present experiences encountered by parents with a child with diagnosis. Those narratives are made open for the public. Data has been collected through ten interviews with parents having children with a diagnosis. These interviews have also been complemented by interviews with one child and one youth. The parents and the children who have been interviewed, all have their own stories and experiences of how it is to live with a diagnosis in the family and for all families there are different diagnosis.

Att,genom sitt arbete, bidra på ett konstruktivt sätt för en annan människa och som bekräftas av densamma är det som huvudsakligen skapar motivation och meningsfullhet i arbetet som personlig handläggare vid Försäkringskassan. Det visar studien i denna uppsats. Medarbetarnas upplevelse och uppfattning är att psykosocial belöning har stor betydelse för både motivation och arbetsprestation. Den psykosociala belöningen kommer till uttryck på flera sätt men upplevs många gånger som otillräcklig från arbetsgivaren. Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva vilka faktorer som är betydelsefulla för medarbetares upplevelser av motivation och meningsfullhet samt upplevelsen av psykosocial belöning.

Our purpose with the study was to investigate how the image of a mother?s role is created by the magazines Mama and Husmodern. Mama is an existing magazine, but Husmodern ceased to exist in 1988. Both magazines focus on children, fashion and housework. We wanted to know what qualities you need to become a good or a bad mother.
