Ingen som läser tidningar, surfar på Internet eller tittar på TV kan undgå att lägga märke till pokerns lavinartade expansion. Poker på Internet och live på TV, i s.k. pokerklubbar och privat, har blivit allt mer accepterad och därmed mer synlig. Spelmarknad på Internet såväl i Sverige som internationellt expanderar varje dag. Utvecklingen har lett till en kraftig ökning av antalet webbsidor där i princip alla, som är över 18 år, har ett kontokort och tillgång till dator med Internetuppkoppling, kan prova lyckan i poker.

Examensarbete utfört på uppdrag av Boliden Mineral AB i Aitikgruvan. Det har sin bakgrund i att malbarheten hos Aitikmalmen varierar kraftigt, upp till 40 %. Detta försvårar planeringsarbetet och således mycket intressant och lönsamt att söka orsakerna till variationen. Examensarbetet syftar således att utgöra en förbättring i verksamheten helt i linje med styrdokumentet, the new Boliden way. Emellertid föreligger stora svårigheter med att spåra malmen genom hela processen varför man i detta arbete har valt att studera sambandet mellan krossbarheten och bergmassans respons på den tillförda specifika energin från borriggen.

The news media?s photo illustrations might pictures result in bad images of the suburbs. Hovsjö, residential area in the city of Södertälje, occurs in the media depicted as is a bad place to live due to the high rate of crime there.Purpose and Issues: My main research question is: How do young people view their residential area Hovsjö in comparison with the image they believe consider is given in that the news media gives the area? Further questions of the study are: How do the young people of the district describe their residential area? How do the youth's react to the news media images of Hovsjö? Has the neighborhood helped to form their identity?Method: In my data collection I have chosen a qualitative approach with observation and semistructured interviews.

Syftet med undersökningen var att utveckla elevernas berättelseskrivande med hjälp av olika typer av responsgivning. Undersökningen gjordes i Luleå- och Älvsbyns kommun. Två grupper, 20 elever i år 5 och 27 elever i år 6, deltog i skrivprojektet, som pågick under sju veckor. Vår djupstudie gjordes däremot endast på ett fåtal elever som slumpmässigt valts ut. Under praktikperioden utfördes ett antal skrivövningar.

My purpose with this thesis has been to find out how to choreograph a fight sequence in ananimated movie. With the help of professional stuntmen and dancers, I have tried to findmethods and techniques used on stage and in live-action film and apply those to animatedfilms. To successfully identify the techniques used, I conducted a number of interviews andanalyzed literature that deals with the subject of fight choreography. By the analysis of themethods provided by the choreographers and selected parts of the literature, I have compiled anumber of steps I recommend 3D animators should to take in their efforts to create their ownfight choreography..

Pitch Correction - is it a must? An interview inquiry about opinions concerning pitch correction in music making today. This work intends to find out what music producers, singers and those with a great interest in music really think about the use of pitch correction programs, both in the studio and live. The thoughts concerning this came when I began to work with these programs in a studio, mostly for vocal use. I realized that the thoughts and opinions about the use of pitch correction varies a lot.

The aim with this work is to understand and point out how significant Facebook is for teenager´s identity-construction. Through interviews with six teenagers, three boys and three girls in the age of sixteen and seventeen, I investigated how teenagers use Facebook and what purpose these interviewees put out to be members at Facebook.The interview-material then was analyzed from selected sociological/social psychology theories and also previous research. The study showed that the interviewees self-presentations for the sake of their awareness was more characterized of reflexivity than spontaneity. Because of their broad audience they choose to not write or publish too private information about themselves on Facebook. Despite a reflexive approach the identity-construction on Facebook could be affected of other people in a negative direction.

Detta examensarbete har utförts hos Dirac Research AB i Uppsala. Dirac Research är en världsledande programvaruspecialist inom ljudoptimering, rumskorrigering och ljudfältssyntes.Dirac har nu velat utreda hur man på bästa sätt kan använda deras programvara Dirac Live för att förbättra ljudet hos hörlurar. I examensarbetet ingick en teoretisk del om örat, hörlurar, mätmetoder och hur en frekvenskurva bör se ut. Det ingick också att mäta impulssvaret för några olika hörlurar. Impulssvaret användes sedan till att förbättra ljudet hos hörlurarna genom att designa digitala filter som användes genom programvaran Dirac Live.

This examination paper defines how educators work with esthetic, and esthetic learning in pre-school. I have done research by interviewing four pedagogues. The result shows that the pedagogues does work with esthetic and practice esthetic learning processes, but their work shift. Some pedagoues practice strong esthetic and some practice more modest esthetic. Some of the pedagogues are more aware than other of the esthetics influens of the childrens life long learning.

This thesis in social anthropology is based on interviews with four hunters from the middle of Sweden. It is about how the hunters get their traditional knowledge and how important it is to grow up and live in rural areas for the knowledge and understanding of hunting. The essay is also about the difference between the hunters from rural areas and the hunters from urban areas. It also examines how the rural hunters speak about the true and real hunter..

Studies show that 10-15 percent of Sweden's population, 65 years or older are estimated to have depression or depression symptoms. The symptoms of depression among elderly people are less than symptoms of young people. This could cause that elderly people with depression are not always discovered. Studies show that elderly people who live in residential homes show more signs of depression than elderly people living at home. If elderly people live in a supporting environment, can it prevent that a depression developed.The prevention of depression among elderly people is a topic that is not discussed among previously research.

The purpose of the literature review was to illuminate how family are responded to in health care and their experiences with a sick person in the palliative care. Ten articles dealing with the questions have been used. The questions emphasized how family experienced the response from people working within health care, their own situations and if they felt they were sufficiently informed. The results were presented from out in the questions in two themes families positive and negative experiences. The results show that for the families to have positive experiences of the respons, the situation and the information given, the working within health care have to make families feel part of the palliative care, to the extent they wish to participate..

SammanfattningSyftet med denna studie var att studera barns delaktighet och interaktion i samlingen. Begreppet samling finns inte med i förskolans läroplan Lpfö98 (Utbildningsdepartementet 2006), trots detta förekommer samlingar och ses som ett naturligt moment på de flesta förskolor idag. Intresset för att studera samlingen väcktes då den har en lång och stark tradition bakom sig. Det blir då intressant att studera hur delaktighet och interaktion sker i samlingen eftersom delaktighet hör nära samman med inflytande som belyses starkt av förskolans läroplan Lpfö98, (Utbildningsdepartementet 2006) och interaktionen för att den är en grundläggande social handling för att bygga en relation till en annan individ. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna för denna uppsats har varit att se barn som sociala aktörer vilket innebär att barn betraktas som kreativa, aktiva sociala aktörer som ordnar sin sociala samvaro i samspel med andra.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur unga vuxna upplever sitt lärande som visstidsanställd och vilka faktorer som påverkar dem i sitt lärande som visstidsanställda. Information har samlats in, bearbetas och presenteras enligt hermeneutisk metodik. Därefter tolkas den utifrån Illeris (2007) teori om lärandedimensioner och unga vuxnas lärande. Resultatet visar att unga vuxna främst drivs av sin inre vilja att lära och syftet är att bygga sin framtid med erfarenheter. De ställer höga krav på respons och stöd och de upplevda kraven från samhället har visat sig drivande för dem.

Medarbetarsamtal har sina rötter från 1800-talet och används idag ute i organisationerna som ett verktyg för att dels påverka både medarbetarnas och organisationens utveckling. Jag ville i denna studie undersöka medarbetarsamtal vidare genom medarbetarperspektiv. Studiens syfte var att undersöka och belysa upplevelsen och betydelsen av medarbetarsamtal hos medarbetare. Jag vill i denna studie tolka och förstå mina intervjuade informanter och valde därför i denna studie den hermeneutiska forskningsinriktningen. För att uppnå syftet har 6 kvalitativa intervjuer med semistrukturerad guide använts.
