This paper aims to clarify how four customer magazines and digital versions of the magazines are being used by their target group. It focuses on the Ikea customer magazine specifically. After the analysis the conclusion is that out of the four companies customer magazines only one, Ikeas Live magazine, fully re-used the editorial content from the printed magazines on their digital platform. The interviewees were six readers of Ikeas customer magazine Live and two experts from a Stockholm based content firm. After the conducted interviews it became clear that none of the interviewees read the digital version of Ikeas magazine Live.

Streaming är en teknik som används för att se på direktsändningar eller filer som är lagrade på webbplatser, direkt på datorn, utan att filer sparas. Det har blivit ett sätt att komma runt förbudet mot att ladda ned film men rättsläget vad gäller streaming är idag oklart. Med denna uppsats avser vi att undersöka gällande rätt, om en lagändring bör ske och vilka aktörer som kan hållas ansvariga vid streaming av olovligt tillgängliggjort material.Upphovsrätten är idag reglerad på många olika plan, det finns internationella konventioner och avtal, EU-regler och nationella regler. Inom Sverige förekommer regleringen främst i Upphovsrättslagen (URL). De internationella bestämmelserna syftar till att ge skydd åt upphovsmän, oberoende av nationalitetsgränser, och detta har i sin tur inverkat på EU-direktiv.

This thesis was developed as an assignment from Ludosity Interactive where the goal was to develop a copy of the Xbox Live Indie Games-marketplace from the Xbox 360. Ludosity Interactive had a necessity to easily test a game's attractiveness to potential customers using testing people from outside the company in a simulated Xbox Live Indie Games test environment; excluding this developed system there is no other way to do such an analysis without actually releasing the game on the Xbox Live Indie Games marketplace and then analyze the resulting sales from the product.The finished system had to be similar to the original system to the degree that a user could see past the interface itself and use the system just as he/she would have used the real marketplace. It also had to be easy to change and add games to the system so that Ludosity Interactive easily could show the games and the data that they deemed interesting for their tests. I detta examensarbete har det undersökts vilken teknik för trådlös kommunikation som passar bäst att användas då en ljudsignal ska strömmas trådlöst till multipla mottagare. De tekniker som jämfördes var Wi-Fi och Bluetooth. Andra tekniker för trådlös kommunikation, ZigBee, ANT+ och NFC, valdes bort för att deras maximala datahastighet eller räckvidd inte var tillräcklig. 3G och 4G valdes bort för att det krävs en licens för att få använda dessa. Som mottagare skulle i första hand Android- och iOS-mobiltelefoner användas.

To live in a relationship demands hard work with good communications, mutual respect, compromises, empathy and an understanding of your partners feelings and needs. For a person with ADHD all of this can cause difficulties and create a strained relationship, but it can also mean a relationship with thrills, adventure, spontaneity and passion. This study is built on a qualitative method using triangulation, where the studies empirical materials consist of 4 interviews along with observations online. The empirical material is applied on the theories: love, conflict and coping. The purpose of this paper is to increase the understanding of how it is to live in a relationship with a partner who has been diagnosed with ADHD. The questions at issue are: How does everyday life work with a partner who has ADHD? What different aspects (positive and negative) are there to live in a relationship with a partner that has ADHD? How is the possible if any help and support perceived in their relationship and everyday life? The results showed that a relationship with a partner that has ADHD looks like any other relationship, but that it can differ due to the possible difficulties that are at hand.

Vi ville undersöka om det var möjligt att på en begränsad budget bygga och programmera en Live Slow Motion-maskin för att generera repriser under en TV-sändning. Utan tillgång till dyrare specialtillverkad hårdvara skulle allt skötas i mjukvara på i grunden en vanlig konsument-PC. Vi ville så långt som möjligt att vår maskin skulle efterlikna de etablerade produkter som används i TV-branchen då vår förhoppning var att maskinen skulle kunna utnyttjas av TV-studenter efter färdigställandet. The purpose of this study was to illustrate how adult people think that, experiencing a war during their childhood has affected their lives. Questions at issue: 1. what does it mean to live in a war as a child? 2. How do the respondents think about possible significance of experiencing a war in their childhood and how their lives have turned out today?The study is performed with a qualitative method of research, based on studies of literature, two individual interviews and a group interview.

Live exports of animals began during the late 19th century and are nowadays a valuable alternative to the slaughter industry in Australia. About four million sheep and half a million to one million cattle are exported annually from Australia to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Most of these animals are exported for slaughter, but some cattle are exported with the purpose of breeding. One factor that has been the driving force for the live export industry is that countries through tariffs and other barriers have favored the import of live animals rather than the import of meat.The export means that animals with a great cognitive ability are exposed to a long chain of production from the farm to the market and there are many factors that can affect the welfare of the animals in a negative way. Some of the most serious are high temperatures and a high stocking density, although seasickness, noises and handling can also have a negative impact on the welfare of animals.

As students of graphic design the craft of print is close to our hearts. One of the most essential mediums of the evolution of printing techniques is the poster. In a world where digital mediums are being utilized to a greater degree everyday, our love for the printed poster makes us wonder if the days of the poster are counted.What we did was to take a closer look at the role of the poster in promoting events. We focused on the Stockholm area and did qualitative interviews with three different event promoters. Live Nation which is an international live entertainment promoter, Dramaten which is one of Sweden?s most well respected theaters and Stockholm Live which is a stand up comedy promoter in Stockholm city.From doing this we learned that economics play an important part in defining the role of the poster.

The purpose of this study was to find out what some young adults who have grown up in Husby themselves for perception of the area, what do they think they brought with them of their childhood there, and find out what they think others do not live in Husby has view of the area. In our study we also tried to find out what the young adults raised in Husby think about the media's influence on public perception of the area Husby, and what they think about the neighborhood's future. The main results that we believe we have come up with is that the media seems to have a big role in the creation of our beliefs. The respondents indicate that they think the media portrays an unfair picture of the suburb and its inhabitants. We believe it is very important that people meet to avoid the categories "us" and "them" to be formed.

Avsikten med uppsatsen är att ta reda på om det skapats ett nytt radiolyssnarmönster i och med att Sveriges Radios (SR) erbjuder tjänsten on demandradio, det vill säga möjlighet att lyssna på radioprogram som redan har sänts på vanlig radio eller webbradio. John Fiske Kommunikations teorier har använts samt Walter Benjamin teorier som behandlar förändringar som sker vid reproduktion. Historiska teorier av Marshall McLuhan och Tony Schwartz har även använts.Författarnas metod består av tre delar där en jämförelse genomförts mellan olika sekundära data från SR, Radioundersökningar AB (RUAB), Nordiskt informationscenter för medie- och kommunikationsforskning (Nordicom), British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) samt Radio Joint Audience Research Limited (RAJAR). Därefter har insamling av kvantitativa data gjorts via enkät som publicerats på SR:s hemsida samt via utskick till en referensgrupp. Författarna har gjort längre telefonintervjuer om cirka 35-45 minuter vilka spelats in och delvis transkriberats för att få in data med mer kvalitativ tyngd.

Denna uppsats ämnar redogöra olika för- och nackdelar med 4G ur ett användarperspektiv, där fokus ligger på smartphoneanvändare. Ett kvalitativt synsätt har tillämpats samt en blandning av deduktivt och induktivt synsätt, där det deduktiva synsättet är det övergripande. Primärdata består av intervjuer och enkätundersökningar. Sekundärdata består främst av akademiska, utvärderade journaler. Studiens syfte identifierades när vi tyckte oss finna en tydlig brist i kunskap bland användare om vad 4G faktiskt är.
