Sammanfattning Syftet var att belysa den fysiska vårdmiljöns betydelse för vårdtagarens välbefinnande. Frågeställningen löd; Hur belyser litteraturen vårdtagarens upplevelse av den fysiska vårdmiljöns betydelse för välbefinnandet? Metoden var en litteraturstudie och sökning av vetenskapliga artiklar har skett på databaserna Cinahl, Academic Search Elite, Emerald, Springer Link, ADAM, BYGGDOK, Pubmed, IDEAL, Kluwer, Libris, ScienceDirect och Scirus. Sökord som används både separat och tillsammans inom samtliga databaser var health facility, environment, architecture, design, art, surroundings, ward, garden, välbefinnande/well-being, hospital, health, light, noise. Med sökmotorer har vi sökt på nämnda sökord och namn på olika forskare, samt MeSH- sökverktyg för översättning av svenska ord till engelska.

Commercial strategies are becoming more common in an increasing number of sports - Swedish golf is no exception. Previous research shows that new opportunities for non-profit organizations, to assign parts of their operations to a limited company, do not have any economic importance. The supplementary question arises why more golf clubs nonetheless choose to corporatize its activities? Is the purpose of commercial strategies generally linked to business- or sport-related success? This paper, containing two studies, aims to create an understanding of the underlying drivers of commercialization, and furthermore to quantitatively demonstrate how commercialization is reflected within Swedish golf in terms of strategy and marketing. Swedish golf clubs were categorized as more or less commercial, and examined based on business-related variables such as communications, brand awareness and price discrimination, as well as sports-related variables as success factors and success indicators.

Bakgrund: En stor del av projekten som genomförs överskrider de ramar som finns vad gäller budget, tid och kvalitetsspecifikationer. De problem som uppstår vid ekonomistyrning av projekt kan troligtvis till viss del härledas till att projekt genomförs i olika miljöer och således utsätts för olika grad av osäkerhet. Detta, i kombination med varje projekts unikhet, leder till antagandet att alla projekt inte kan styras på samma sätt, utan istället måste sannolikt ekonomistyrningen anpassas till det enskilda projektets förutsättningar. Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva och analysera hur ekonomistyrningen utformas samt även hur den bör utformas i projekt som kännetecknas av olika grad av osäkerhet. Genomförande: Undersökningen genomfördes i form av en fallstudie och den empiriska informationen samlades in genom fyra intervjuer på lika många företag som arbetar med olika sorters projekt.

Purpose: The main purpose of our study is to explain how the disability management in the municipality of Karlskrona can design its balanced scorecard from a theoretical basis. The mission of the balanced scorecard is to improve the management control system. To achieve the main purpose we have to study the problems that exist with the current control system, which then becomes our second purpose.Method: Our study has a qualitative approach. The design of the study is a case study in which one case has been looked at. The empirical data is collected through interviews and documents. We have gathered our theory through scientific articles and literature.Results: The goals set by the board are unclear and hard to define.

This study investigates the planning process of a university library building. The study s major concern is the cooperation of the main participants in this process: librarians, architects and representatives of university colleges and universities. First the authors present the readers with an overview of the litterature concerning this subject. Then follows a presentation of the three case studies. The authors have interviewed representatives of the three different occupational groups at three different library-building projects: Malmö University, Halmstad University College and the department of social- and behavioural studies at Lund University.

In a time when economic crises relieving one another, it is especially interesting to study how companies choose to finance their operations. Since there is a lack of studies that include banks, and their capital structures, with the rest of the finance market, it is uncertain whether the theories of capital structure are applicable. Therefore, this essay aims to study whether there is any correlation between the two variables debt-equity ratio and return on equity (ROE) for Swedish corporations on the finance market.In accordance with the theorems that the professors Modigliani and Miller filed, in 1958 and 1961, which describes a clear link between debts, increase corporate value through the tax shield and indirectly increased yields. Although these theorems are the foundation of the modern research they focus on perfect markets. Therefore, this paper has also chosen to place great emphasis on theories such as Trade-off and Pecking-order.

Many of the schools premises are neglected and the physical environment has not been prioritised. Instead the focus is set on scientific learning methods and pedagogic. The need for an environmental shift has not got an essential place in the governing documents for schools, although the focus on school premises should be suited to the purpose of the activity and for the pupils needs. Today the interest and the need of research within the physical environment is evermore increasing. The Swedish Work Environment Authority, present in their activityplan for 2006, that the schools premises and equipment is not adjusting to today?s activity and it is in bad condition that can lead to work-related injuries.The purpose of this essay is to bring to light a different pedagogic train of thought around the surrounding environments importance, for students learning and to compare these with our study of a selection of classrooms and what the teachers to these classrooms consider about the environments importance.

SYFTE: Syftet med studien är att beskriva ledningens uppfattning om hur företagets ekonomistyrning påverkats av den senaste drastiska konjunkturförändringen. Därtill ska vi beskriva och resonera kring hur företagets syn på prestationsmåtten förändrats under lågkonjunkturen. Ett delsyfte är att beskriva hur ledningen definierar företagets styrverktyg, vilket kommunicerar de icke-finansiella målen och i teorin benämns Balanced Scorecard.METOD: Vi kommer att svara både på frågan hur ?deskriptivt? (beskrivande), d.v.s. att genom en studie få bättre insikt om hur ett fenomen ser ut, och dessutom varför ?kausalt? (förklarande) d.v.s.

Colobus angolensis palliatus is a small old world monkey inhabiting southern coastal Kenya to southern Tanzania. The species activity budget is known to vary between seasons and areas, probably due to differences in group sizes, diets, predatory presence and resource competition. The variations between male and female activity budgets are reckoned to be a result of pregnancy and lactation. The aim of this study was to investigate potential differences in behaviours between morning and afternoon periods and between males and females. The study was carried out in two forest fragments in Diani Beach on the south coast of Kenya.

In this essay, the phenomenon and the concept "meditation" are treated. Meditation is a mental training technique where one develops the ability to choose where to put attention and ability to focus. Techniques for meditation is used individually of people who wants to develop themselves as persons and in therapeutic aims of professional within the field of psychology in order to help people to find solutions of problems within themselves. The aim with this essay were to do a qualitative study in order to see how possible effects of meditation influences daily life of contributory practisian's. Issue has been as follows; which effects have one regularly conducting of meditation on people and their lives? Interviews with four experienced meditators were done in India and the material were analyzed afterwards with the aid of thematic analysis, furthermore in order to link the results with clinical research and established theories about meditation.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether Karlstad City Fiber Network visual elements in the form of a pair of speech bubbles fit into the organization's holistic external communication and branding. The study examines whether Karlstad City Fiber Network image of the organization and the speech bubbles match the stakeholders view and how the visual elements are perceived and recognized by stakeholders. The theory associated with the study is theories of corporate visual identity, image, identity and branding and visual communication. These three elements are important to be aware of when a generation of an effective external communications. Qualitative interviews with employees at Karlstad City Fiber Network and Karlstad municipality has undertaken to give an idea of ??what the organization wants to achieve and what their opinions are.

About 1000 women in the so called developing countries die every day associated with pregnancy and childbirth. Sub-Saharan Africa is the worst affected region. This study aims to explore the different key factors in national development that can interact with a reduced maternal mortality. The study compares 15 countries in sub-Sahara where the greatest reduction in maternal mortality occurred with 15 countries in sub-Sahara where maternal mortality reduction has been at its lowest, between the years 2000 to 2010. This study also analyzes the link between reduced maternal mortality and various key factors for national development.

SammanfattningStudien är ämnad för dem som är intresserade av socialt utvecklingsarbete. Genom att närmare studera insatsen placeringar av barn hos professionella fosterföräldrar som är ett nytt fenomen inom det sociala arbetet i Rumänien, målar studien upp en bild av hur socialt arbete återskapas i ett postkommunistiskt land. Uppsatsens syfte är att förstå socialarbetares praktiska arbete i Rumänien med placeringar av barn hos professionella fosterföräldrar. De två forskningsfrågorna som har besvarats är: vilken roll har socialarbetare i arbetet med placeringar av barn hos professionella fosterföräldrar? och vilket handlingsutrymme och makt har socialarbetare i det praktiska arbetet med placeringar av barn hos professionella fosterföräldrar? För att uppnå studiens syfte har det genomförts en kvalitativ studie med halvstrukturerade intervjuer.

Detta arbete består av en tvådelad studie. Vi har dels tagit reda på huruvida lärare använder sig av Harry Potter-böckerna i engelskundervisningen på gymnasiet, dels gestaltat lärarinformanternas uppfattningar angående användandet av Harry Potter-böckerna i undervisningen. Vi har också undersökt om det är möjligt att använda sig av Harry Potter-böcker i engelskundervisningen och om det är möjligt att koppla dem till Lpf 94 (2008) och kursplaner för Engelska A, B och C (2000) på gymnasiet.     Undersökningens intervjuer genomfördes på två gymnasieskolor i mellersta Sverige och inkluderade tio informanter. I syfte att svara på undersökningens forskningsfrågor genomfördes dessutom en didaktisk läsning av tre Harry Potter-böcker.Den didaktiska läsningen visade att de tre Harry Potter-böckerna kan kopplas till både Lpf 94 (2008:59?76) och kursplanerna för kurserna Engelska A, B och C på gymnasiet.

This master thesis comprises analysis and dimensioning of a keyed joint between a generator axis and a hub with aid from the FEM-software ANSYS Workbench 13.0.The generator axis is a part of a hydroelectric power station that generates electricity with a reactions turbine, a Kaplan turbine. The existing keyway consists of one parallel key with the width 90 mm and height 45 mm. Due to a planned increase of the power of the generated power with 32 % a design study was needed to see if the keyed joint would be suitable for the extra force. Because of the fact that the axis diameter is bigger than the standards covers/recommends a the keyway had to be re-dimensioned. In an earlier assignment from Skellefteå Kraft AB to Sweco Energuide the keyway was planned to be properly dimensioned, but no final solution was approved.During this master thesis a number of different numerical tests were made.
