Syftet med studien är att undersöka två skolors kvalitetsutveckling inom matematik i årskurs fem. Studien avser även att lyfta fram skolpersonalens förändringsprocess i deras arbete med matematiken på två skolor där resultaten på nationella provet i årskurs fem har haft en positiv utveckling. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer med fem respondenter var vår intention att finna svar på följande frågeställningar; På vilka sätt har skolpersonal på två skolor förändrat matematikundervisningen så att elever lyckas med bättre resultat på de nationella proven i matematik, årskurs fem? Vilka var orsakerna till att lärarna ville förändra? Hur beskriver lärarna förändringsprocessen hos sig själva? Gemensamt för samtliga respondenter var att tiden, det statliga, ekonomiska stödet samt engagemanget bland lärarna sågs som de avgörande faktorerna för det goda kvalitetsarbetet som gjorts på skolorna. Vidare var samtliga respondenter överens om att den statliga satsningen Läsa-skriva-räkna samt Matematiksatsningen påverkat dem på ett positivt sätt som bidragit till att lärarna talar mer matematik i sitt klassrum. Satsningarna har även resulterat i att skolorna fått tillgång till tekniska hjälpmedel, samt fått möjlighet att genomföra Lesson study i sin undervisning.

Många klimatforskare i världen är överens om att en klimatförändring är på väg. I Sverige kan vi vänta oss ett varmare och mer nederbördsrikt klimat. Det varmare klimatet medför bland annat att havs- och landisar smälter vilket bidrar till att havsnivån höjs. Exempel på konsekvenser av det förändrade klimatet är översvämning och erosion. I framtiden anses effekterna inträffa allt oftare framförallt i kustområden.

Vilka föreställningar finns det om kulturarv? Syftet med detta arbete att undersöka vilken plats frågor om kulturarv intar i den kommunala planeringen samt hur kulturarvsfrågor hanteras i planeringen. Syftet är även att öka förståelsen för de konflikter som kan uppstå kring kulturarv och föreställningarna om detta i planeringen. Arbetet består av en empirisk undersökning av två fallstudier. De båda fallstudierna ligger sedan till grund för en jämförelse mellan två detaljplaner, Kvarteret Axel och Stadsmarinan från Karlskrona kommun, Blekinge län. Båda har hanterat kulturarvsfrågor i planprocessen.

This study is based on the development of a new software, which is used as a recommendationtool for selecting the best product. As part of the software development has an external partnerbeen asked to assist. The report will process the expectations that different people have on anew project but also how information is communicated to an external partner.The results from this study show that a software's function is closely linked to its usability.Therefore shall usability been taken into account when a new resource is created. The study alsoshows the importance of being able to share information, on how the program will beconstituted, to someone outside the organization..

 Saab Microwave Systems (SMW) is a business unit within Saab AB that manufactures and develops different types of radar- and sensor systems for naval, airborne and ground based forces as well as within the market for civil security. In addition to the manufacturing of radar and sensor systems they also provide different types of service concepts. The business unit has 50 years of experience within the area of developing radar systems and is considered to be one of the market leaders. When applying an assemble-to-order production strategy with products at this level of cost price the product lead-time is vital and becomes an important part of the strategy within marketing and sales. Within SMW there is a new department called Supply Management (SM) that provides the supply of incoming and outgoing material. Within SM there are four sub-departments working with activities such as planning, purchasing, receiving inspection, storage and distribution.

Malmö Kommunala Bostadsbolag Fastighets AB owns and administrates Örtagården housing estate in Rosengård which is a characteristic million programme housing area. Örtagården is densely populated which naturally creates an environment that is exposed to wear and tear. The area is today undergoing a change where new proposals and strategies are to be designed for further development of the inner yards. MKB also wishes to develop the park area which is centrally situated in Örtagården. The purpose of this study was to make an analysis of the development of Örtagårdsparken from when it was planned and constructed up until the state it is in today.

The study aims to investigate the impact of industrialised homebuilding in the creation of the aestheticproperties of the dwelling architecture.The concepts of industrialised homebuilding and the aesthetic properties of the dwelling architecture aredefined by previously developed models. In these models, industrialised homebuilding is described byeight characteristic areas. The aesthetic properties of the dwelling architecture are described by sevenaesthetic qualities.The study was conducted as a qualitative study, and in-depth interviews were conducted. The companyJM AB is the analysed unit that the author of this report has chosen to study. JM employees and by JMhiredarchitects were interviewed.The report concludes that characteristic area planning and control of processes are considered to havepositive impact on the aesthetic qualities if the process is designed in such a way that the creations ofthese are admitted.

The project group is participating in a measuring project that is a cooperation between CIT EnergyManagement AB, the Measuring unit of Chalmers and College of Dalarna.The results from the measurementswill be put together and presented in a brochure.When designing the brochure a great deal of planning has been made how to attract the targetgroup.To make the contents of the brochure more attractive, which mainly will contain text, a lot of imageswith a symbolic substance have been used. To keep the brochure together it has been divided into fivechapters that each has been given one specific colour. The colours are consistent on initials, headlinesand images.At the moment the results of the measurements are not yet ready and the text for the brochure is notpossible to complete now. This project is expected to finish in the fall when all the measurements havebeen compiled..

This thesis is an evaluation of the new traffic solution at ?Skvallertorget?. The innovative theory behind it is to increase traffic-safety by introducing insecurity feelings for road-users. The conclusion of the evaluation is that the newtraffic solution is well adjusted according to guidelines for municipal traffic planning. The evaluation also illustrates the conflict between traffic planners deliberate attempt to avoid clear information and the road users wish to get it.

District heating covers around 80 % of the heating demand in apartment buildings and 10 % in single-family homes in Sweden. In the year 2010 the total input of energy to the Swedish district heating grids was about 70 TWh, which corresponds to 11 % of the total energy input to the whole energy system in the country. Through the combined production of heat and power the CHP-plants often reaches an efficiency of 90 % from energy in the fuel to produced heat and power. In order to keep the efficiency high it is important for the owners of the plant to have good knowledge about the plants performance at different operation points. Strängnäs Energi AB initiated this diploma work together with FVB Sverige ab in order to come up with a program for short term planning of the production of heat and power at the company´s CHP-plant.The work consists of three main parts.

Detta examensarbete är skrivet på tyska och behandlar Deutsche Bahn AG:s (det tyska järnvägsaktiebolaget) planer på att förlägga järnvägsstationen Hamburg-Altona, till ett industriområde 2 km norr om det läge den har idag. Enligt dessa planer ska dagens säckstation ersättas av en genomfartsstation, där tunnelbanestationen Diebsteich idag ligger. Den centrala frågeställningen för examens­arbetet är: Vilken påverkan har en ny järnvägsstation på sin omgivning? Rent konkret står platsen för Altonas nya järnvägsstation i fokus och möjligheterna för en ny strukturell utveckling av dess närområde. Arbetet bygger på teorier av Prof. Luca Bertolini, som menar att potentialen för ett utvecklings­projekt kring en järnvägsstation be­ror på förhållandet mellan stationen som trafikknutpunkt och stationen som plats.

Den fysiska närmiljön är viktig för alla människor men särskilt viktig för barns utveckling. Barn utgör ungefär 20 % av vår befolkning och är en heterogen grupp med olika behov och förutsättningar. Barn har bland annat enligt FN:s barnkonvention och Plan- och bygglagen rätt att delta i den fysiska planeringen. Historiskt har barns medverkan och utrymme i den fysiska planeringen varit begränsad. Först på 1960-talet fick barndomen ett egenvärde, som stärktes ytterligare när FN:s barnkonvention antogs år 1990.

There have previously been very few studies of forests on Seram Island in the Eastern Indonesian archipelago and none before on lowland limestone primary forests. The COLUPSIA project on collaborative land use planning has therefore chosen Seram as one of two project sites. The objective of the COLUPSIA project is to establish collaborative and equitable land use planning. In order to achieve its objective the COLUPSIA project aims to improve understanding of traditional resource management and how it interacts with governmental systems, as well as enhancing knowledge about tropical landscapes and ecosystem services.The aim of this study was to contribute to the COLUPSIA project through describing lowland limestone forest on Seram Island in respect to (1) forest structure, (2) tree species richness and (3) tree species composition. We set up 5 plots, each of 0.2 ha, at one site, Mawalai, and collected data on tree variables (tree diameter ?10 cm) as well as for some other life forms and environmental data.

Uppsatsens syfte är undersöka hur två gruvorter (Gällivare/Malmberget och Kiruna) arbetar med och integrerar hållbar stadsutveckling i samband med den pågående och planerade flytten av städerna. Vidare är syftet att belysa eventuella svårigheter/otydligheter i arbetet med hållbar stadsutveckling och hur det praktiska planeringsarbetet i samhällsomvandlingens namn bedrivs i Gällivare och Kiruna. Då båda städerna har med ordet ?hållbarhet? i sin vision om hur det nya samhället ska vara, blir det intressant att undersöka hur deras syn på hållbarhet ser ut och hur de integrerar hållbar stadsutveckling i samhällsomvandlingen. Hållbarhet och hållbar stadsutveckling har sedan 1960-talet utvecklats till att bli det rådande planeringsidealet. Det är dock ett luddigt begrepp som inte är mätbart eller enkelt att använda för de som arbetar med fysisk planering. Då fokus ligger på två svenska städer har Sveriges politiska syn på hållbarhet studerats.

?Re:Regional? is a diploma work by Sanna Alm and Ylva Hedin, for the Master?s Programme in Spatial Planning presented at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden. ?Greater Helsinki Vision 2050 ? International Ideas Competition? was the starting point of this study. The competition was launched the 15th of December 2006 and the closing date was the 31st of May.
