The purpose of this study was to examine if atypical Parkinsonism affectsthe pragmatic ability in conversational interaction. 15 persons close to individualswith atypical Parkinsonism answered a questionnaire, "Bedömning av förändring isamtalsinteraktion", estimating experienced change in interactive skills comparedto before the disease. The study also examined if perceived change correlates withdisease duration and if perceived change differs between types of atypicalParkinsonism. The results show that at group level the participants experiencechange in many aspects of conversational interaction, particularly regardingspeech, body communication, response latency, phrase length, word finding andability to understand. There was no correlation between perceived change anddisease duration.

Confrontation naming is commonly used in speech and language pathology to diagnose neurogenic communication disorders and evaluate naming ability. The existing Swedish assessment instruments for adults consist of pictures depicting nouns. In this study, parts of the instrument An Object and Action Naming Battery were used, containing pictures depicting both nouns and verbs. The study?s purpose was to explore the degree of difficulty in the material, based on the naming of the participants, and examine whether different variables correlate with the results in confrontation naming.

The aim of this Master?s thesis was to find out more about the delimiting quality- and shelf-life parameters over time for liquid oat-based products. According to that, to present applicable subjective and objective shelf-life test approaches at accelerated conditions. The study aimed to gain a deeper knowledge concerning the general and accepted way of performing accelerated storage tests. This study focused especially on products, which suffer from quality failure caused by oxidation, such as liquid oat-based products.

The main purpose of this study is to analyze texts written by pupils during the national test in the subject Swedish for grade 9 in order to identify and illustrate how they have met the instructions for the writing task including genre. The texts have been analyzed using Palmér & Östlund-Stjärnegårdh?s (2005) model for student text analysis. This model has been supplemented by studying word and sentence length, as well as indexes for level of readability (LIX) and word variation (OVIX) in order to illustrate possible differences in a gender perspective. The results of this study are in line with previous research, as the girls? texts are longer and more descriptive, while the boys? texts are shorter and show a wider range of word variation.

Detta examensarbete har utförts på uppdrag av Plusshus AB i Skellefteå. Arbetet innefattar framtagning av en ny tillverkningslinje för massivträblock. Det framlagda förslaget innehåller en bearbetningsmaskin, för uttag samt måttsättning av väggblock, en specialmaskin anpassad för ihopläggning av väggens komponenter och separat limapplicering samt två vakuum pressar. Med information från olika maskin- och materialleverantörer, Plusshus AB och till viss del antagna värden utvärderades linjen. Utvärderingen genomfördes med hjälp av både en LCC- modell och en lönsamhetsanalys för att kunna ge bästa möjliga kostnadsbild och resultat över linjens livslängd.

The purpose of this report is to examine various roof structures that can operate in a warehouse with large spans. The building that is examined in the report is currently under construction, and the roof construction has already been selected. The selected roof system will therefore be compared with some other structures and materials that have been possible. The report will evaluate three different frame materials, two insulating barriers and two overlaying materials. Another important part in major construction projects is the roof safety.

I början av vårterminen 2005 blev vi tilldelade detta examensjobb, som avslutning på YTH-programmet. Uppdragsgivare är Luleå kommun, Tekniska Förvaltningen. De vill få en projektering utförd på en gång- och cykelväg i S.Sunderbyn. Den ska gå från Kläppenskolan till Bodvallen längs väg 592. Bakgrunden till projektet är att de 450 st boende i området vill få en trafiksäker miljö framförallt för gående och cyklister.

AbstractThe urgency to find alternative fabrics to conventionally produced cotton is increasing as vast amounts of agrochemicals are used and a lot of irrigation is required. In this literature survey the potential of organic cultivation practices to produce highly qualitative hemp fibre, suitable for the textile industry, was investigated. The definition of a fibre in the textile context as well as of the qualities that are essential for a textile fibre was necessary as a base for the discussion in this thesis. The quality parameters looked at were fineness, strength, length, friction, and colour. The impact of external growth factors and plant development on these quality properties are discussed.

The aim of this thesis was to examine how a coordinator at a social welfare project in support of job seekers, achieve results in his efforts to reduce the number of clients with social assistance. The method of data collection was a mixture of open thematic interviews and semi- structured interviews with open questions. The coordinator was interviewed four times during the length of the project. In addition, two of his clients were interviewed. The data also includes a report from the relevant social services and other documents such as newspaper articles.

Syftet med studien var att ta fram en utvecklingskurva för internationella toppsimmare inom simsättet frisim. Målet var att ta fram en generell utvecklingskurva för de fem åren innan en simmare uppnår 900 FINA-poäng första gången. Ytterligare en målsättning var att ta fram en mall för vilka nivåer en viss FINA-poäng motsvarar på internationella tävlingar d.v.s. vad som krävs för att placera sig som 8:e, 16:e samt sista kvaltiden till de stora internationella mästerskapen. Frågeställningar:Hur ser den generella utvecklingskurvan för Europeiska simmare ut 5 år innan de uppnår 900 FINA-poäng första gången?Vad motsvarar tävlingskval på SM, EM, VM & OS mätt i FINA-poäng i respektive grenar? Vilka FINA-poäng krävs för att sluta som topp 16 respektive topp 8 på SM, EM,VM samt OS i respektive grenar under de senaste mästerskapen?Finns det någon skillnad mellan de olika frisimsdistanserna?Metod: Resultattider för åren 2011-2014 sammanställdes med hjälp utav Swimrankings.net.

Transfer pricing including internal loans have increased in recent years, making it easier for companies to minimize their taxable income. After the Swedish court case Diligentia, there have been discussions regarding the influence of a parent company's transparency and control of the subsidiary with regards to the interest rates on internal loans. In court cases that followed Diligentia, the Swedish Tax Agency argued that a parent company always could be assumed to have sufficient transparency and control of the operations in the subsidiary, and therefore reduce the risk on their debt obligations. This thesis seeks to analyze the effects of the transparency and control a parent company has with regards to interest rates on internal loans. The analysis is conducted by analyzing court cases similar to Diligentia.

Sommaren 2014 blev det tillåtet att bygga en komplementbyggnad på 25 kvm utan att behöva söka bygglov. Denna byggnad är möjlig att inreda för permanentboende. På grund av den höga bostadsbristen var tanken från regeringen en möjlighet till uthyrning till unga vuxna som studerar eller vill flytta hemifrån. Det som behövs för att bygga en komplementbyggnad på tomten är att lämna in en bygganmälan och sedan invänta ett startbesked. En bygganmälan kan kosta olika beroende på i vilken kommun den sökande tänkt bygga.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningar. Syftet med studien var att undersöka resultat vid och korrelationen mellan fem-minuters pyramidtest (5MPT) och maximalt syreupptagningstest (VO2max) på löpband på yngre friska individer. Vi ville även studera om det förelåg någon skillnad, inlärningseffekt, för de två testmetoderna vid en upprepad testomgång.Metod. I studien deltog 32 personer, 18 män och 14 kvinnor, i åldrarna 15?28 år.

This thesis compares the impact on disk performance in a GNU/Linux  environmentwith three encryption algorithms: AES,  Serpent and Twofish in three different implementations: DM-crypt, Loop-AES and Truecrypt. For all three algorithms a key length of 256 bits is used.The thesis shows that the least performance impact during data encryption, and thus file writing, is reached by using AES or Twofish encryption implemented in DM-crypt or TrueCrypt. The thesis shows that some data operations with a sufficiently low processor utilization barely affects disk performance at all if encrypted using the optimal implementation and algorithm.It is also discovered that the performance impact during data decryption, or file reading, can be minimized by using the most efficient implementation and algorithm. The best results are met with the AES or Twofish cipher, regardless of implementation.An important conclusion that  is  drawn is that it is hard to determine a superior encryption solution for all purposes. However, by reviewing and examining the collected data from all aspects of disk performance the AES implementation in TrueCrypt is, with small marginals, determined to be the most optimal..
