Syftet med den här erfarenhetsbaserade och vetenskapliga essän är att genom reflektion kring erfarenheterna, relevant litteratur och forskning undersöka olika arbetssätt för lärare och fritidspedagoger att kunna hjälpa och stötta barn i svåra livssituationer. Essän tar sin början i tre berättelser om barn i svåra livssituationer, efter det följer ett tydliggörande av dilemmat i berättelserna. I undersökningen kopplas problematiken i berättelserna ihop med olika arbetssätt för hur lärare och fritidspedagoger kan hjälpa barn i svåra livssituationer. För- och nackdelar med de olika arbetssätten behandlas och diskuteras. Genom reflektion kring problemområdet uppstår kunskap och medvetenhet om hur det är lämpligt att lärare och fritidspedagoger stöttar och hjälper barn i svåra livssituationer.

Bakgrund: Psykisk ohälsa bland barn och ungdomar har ökat under de senaste årtiondena. Forskning visar att hög utbildning, god social position, trygg ekonomi och goda levnadsvanor ökar chansen för god hälsa. Även fritiden har betydelse. KASAM innebär att se individen som helhet och fokuserar på faktorer som främjar hälsa och förmågan att bemästra ohälsa.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att ta reda på om det finns skillnad i KASAM, och i upplevelse av hälsa och välbefinnande, mellan gymnasieelever som deltar respektive inte deltar i organiserade fritidsaktiviteter. Hypotesen var att deltagande i organiserade fritidsaktiviteter stärker KASAM samt upplevd hälsa och välbefinnande.Metod: Studien har genomförts som en kvantitativ enkätstudie.

For most pupils homework is a natural part of school and their education and there are several providers of homework assistance: the pupil's parents, sibblings, friends, Internet forums, hired private tutoring, non-profit organisations and at times even the pupil's school. This study has investigated the use of the school-based homework assistance programme at the Upper Secondary School of Psychology in Stockholm and why the programme is not more frequently used by its pupils. The school offers homework assistance two hours each Thursday afternoon, with at least two teachers being present to tender for the school's 127 pupils. The cost of the programme has been estimated to approximately 12 500 Swedish kronor per week. Through the main use of a questionnaire given to both the school's students and teachers, as well as an interview with the school's headmaster, this study will show that despite receiving the opportunity few pupils take part of the programme on a regular basis.

Background: Stress is a contributing factor to the increase in mental illness among teenagers. The school nurses are obliged to work promotive to prevent ill health in teenagers. The psychosocial part takes more of school nurses? time while other school health duties increases.Purpose: To highlight the school nurses? experience of teenagers stress and the work to help them deal with it.Method: A qualitative study with semi-structured questions. A strategic sample was used and eight nurses participated.

This qualitative study was conducted to investigate how subordination and superiority emerges in the interaction between heterosexual couples between 20 to 30 years old, without children. Eight semi-structured interviews with four couples have been conducted to provide insight into how subordination and superiority is made in the interaction between the cohabiting couples. All interviews were transcribed and then manually categorized along specific main themes and sub themes. The empirical data were then assayed by a hermeneutic interpretation.   Three previous studies have formed the basis for this study, Det kallas kärlek by Carin Holmberg, the anthology, Jämställdhetens pris and Familjer i tiden by Christine Roman and Helen Peterson. The theoretical framework consists symbolic interactionism, and especially the concept of asymmetrical role-taking and also doing gender.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate the experience of being young and living in Herrgården in Rosengård, Malmö, from the aspects of six adolescents, two police officers, one social worker and one youth leader; and also what the cause is according to them, of disturbances arousing like those in the spring of 2007. At this moment there were antagonisms between adolescents and policemen. The research was performed with a qualitative method based on partly structured interviews. Four kinds of main themes were notable from the interview results. Those were: Growing up in Herrgården, Other peoples' view of Herrgården, Identity and Causes of the disturbances.

Denna studies syfte är att undersöka hur fritidspedagoger ser på sin egen professionalitet. Fokus riktas på fritidspedagogernas egen syn på deras centrala färdigheter och kunskaper, hur de tror att lärarnas och föräldrarnas syn är på dem, hur fritidspedagogerna själva kan planera och genomföra sin verksamhet och hur avsaknaden av legitimation påverkar deras yrkesroll. Studien har använt sig av en kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Fritidspedagogernasintervjuer analyseras med hjälp av tidigare forskning samt utvalda begrepp och teori.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate how well vision and strategies communicates from division level to underlying business unit levels with focus on the Balanced Scorecard Concept. The investigation was carried out within the ANS division and two of its underlying business units at the LFV Group (Swedish Airports and Air Navigation Services). ANS is responsible for the air navigation services in Sweden and the production of the services is carried out of the business units AER (En Route) and ATA (Tower and Approach). With Air Navigation Services means supervision and conducting air traffic mainly within national air space. The purpose of the services is to insure that air traffic could be carried out in a safe way.The Balanced Scorecard was introduced for the first time in the beginning of the 1990´s.

Uppsatsens syfte är att analysera de konsekvenser som bilanvändningen medför idag, med koncentration på Stockholms innerstad. Frågeställningarna behandlar problematiken i planeringen, vilka möjligheter det finns och vilka åtgärder som planeras och genomförs idag för miljövänligare bilanvändning. Uppsatsens underlag har utgångspunkten i forskning och olika planeringsarbeten samt en kvalitativ studie. Intervjuer har genomförts med Stadsbyggnadskontoret, Naturvårdsverket, Trivector Traffic och Miljöförvaltningen. Materialet härstammar från Sverige, England, Australien, USA, Canada och Lettland samt SCAFT och flera statliga verk.

When communications traffic increasingly turned into data, IP telephony became a disruptive technology for the telecommunication business. IP telephony was a hot topic when voice over IP services started to become available to consumers in the 1990s. The new technology changed the rules of the game and many new actors entered the market.The purpose of this study is to describe, study, and analyze how the business models of the Swedish telecom sector developed in the middle of the 2000s. The study is delimited to the Swedish consumer market for telephony.The study is built mainly upon deep interviews with 24 prominent persons in the telecom sector in 2006. To aid understanding, two telecom companies that have been chosen to represent different kinds of actors are described and analyzed more closely.

In April 2010 Vägverket (the Swedish National Road Agency) andBanverket (the Swedish National Railway Agency) will merge intoTrafikverket (the Swedish National Traffic Agency). Trafikverket willassume unified responsibility for the risk management that atpresent is responsibility of Vägverket and Banverket separately. Atpresent, as it will be shown in this thesis, Vägverket and Banverketshare the same theoretical background for risk management but usedifferent implementations often within the same agency. The use ofdifferent implementations results in a reduced transparency of therisk management both within and outside the agencies: this willbecome even more problematic when they will be fused intoTrafikverket.The aim of this thesis is to review the current risk managementmethodologies used at Vägverket and Banverket and to suggest aunified tool for the risk management at Trafikverket. This will bedone by focusing in particular on construction projects, one fromVägverket (Partihallsförbindelsen) and one from Banverket(Nynäsbanan).

Storm water causes a number of problems in our country, particularly in city environment with its surfaces of non-absorbing ground materials. At heavy rain falls there are floods due to lack of capacity in the drain system when meeting heavy water masses over a short time. When the drain system is overloaded huge water masses reach the recipient untreated and there causing disturbances in the aquatic ecosystem. Due to emissions from mainly traffic, industries and other human activities the storm water is polluted. Earlier the problem used to be solved technically, by increasing the capacity of the tubes and by construction of reservoirs to delay the floods peaks.
