Västfastigheter owns andmanage the hospital buildings in the Västra Götaland region. To be able to reducetheir energy usage Västfastigheter has hired several consulting firms to chart out theenergy consumption on each hospital building. The biggest energy savings potentialhave been calculated and what the cost will be to perform each action. The energyaudit have been completed and stand as the decision basis for Västfastigheter?s choiceon which action packages that should be implemented.

Examensarbetet är utfört på Lifco Dental, som är ett distributionsföretag i Enköping undervårterminen 2013 och omfattar 30 högskolepoäng. Lifco Dentals huvudsakliga verksamhet ärlagerhantering av tandläkarartiklar och det rör sig om cirka 40 000 artiklar i varierandestorlek.Examensarbetet avser i första hand styrning av lagerhållning och artikelplacering. The empirical data used for this master thesis, consists of eight manuals with the main purpose to help students evaluate information resources found on the web or Internet. The purpose is to elucidate the discourses and investigate those textual characteristics, which figure in the investigated manuals. The method used is a discursive and linguistic approach, with a power/knowledge discussion applied to the results. The analysis identifies, among other things, the production and consumption of the investigated texts, and that the manuals function as a reflection of the relationship between the participants in the situation, the sociocultural practice of the institution and its identity..

Detta examensarbete kom till eftersom Sandvik Band ville ha en utredning till stånd gällande sin problemlösning. Detta då Band hade skäl att anta att problemlösningen i många fall skedde i form av ?brandsläckning? med alltför begränsad uppföljning. Syftet med examensarbetet blev att kartlägga hur problem i produktionen upptäcks, löses, följs upp och dokumenteras. Förslag på hur eventuella fel och brister i denna process skulle kunna elimineras skulle också tas fram.

Företag världen över har valt att implementera produktionsfilosofin Lean och de förknippade verktygen. Flertalet av verktygen är utformade för att uppnå en hög kontroll av produktionsflöden och en detaljerad pålitlig produktionsplanering. Verktygen har dock en utvecklingsgrund från den repetitiva produktionen, där höga volymer produceras av samma produkt med liten variation i bearbetningsprocesser. Det har lett till att dessa inte är beprövade för en mer variationsrik produktion, likt den i de flexibla funktionella verkstäderna. Vidare har det visats att just denna flexibla produktionstyp ter sig vara den mest konkurrenskraftiga för högkostnadsländer gentemot lågkostnadsländer vilket följaktligen påvisat att den icke repetitiva lågvolymsproduktionen utgör allt mer av produktionen i högkostnadsländer.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka förbättringar vid framtagning av arbetsmetoder för arbete på vattenkraftsmaskiner. Målet är att klarlägga hur leverantörer av elektromekanisk utrustning arbetar med projektgenomföring och ge rekommendationer hur dessa gynnas av förbättrade arbetsmetoder.Författaren har valt att undersöka följande frågeställningar under projektets genomförandesfas ute på anläggning:1. Vilka arbetsmetoder främjar ett framgångsrikt montagearbete på anläggning?2. Hur kan dessa arbetsmetoder stärka projektgenomföringen för leverantörsorganisationen som utför detta montagearbete?Den emperiska informationen har tagits fram med en kvalitativ metod som baserar sig på sex stycken semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex personer.

ACG Nyström doesn?t just stand for the actual production of the machine,but also for assembling and installation of the machine at the final customer.

In this study, we have explored a new area called ?gamification? ? a word and concept that was first introduced on the Internet autumn 2010. Gamification concerns integrating game design, with emphasis on game mechanics and game dynamics, into non-gaming contexts ? such as marketing. At its basic definition, it concerns the process of transforming all kinds of activities into games.

Organic food is produced in a way that strives towards maintaining and improving natural resources. The welfare of both producers and consumers is central, also taking both animals and the environment into account. The Swedish government finds this important and in 2006 they made a resolution that the consumption of organic food should be stimulated. The goal was that 25 % of the municipalities? consumption of food should be organic in 2010.The municipality of Ludvika reached the government's target in 2011 and is currently increasing their proportion of organic food by one new product every year.  Ludvika is a member of The National Association of Swedish Eco-municipalities and the town of Ludvika is also a Fairtrade city.

Two elementary schools are now being built in Gråbo (in the municipality of Lerum),Röselidsskolan and Ljungviksskolan, which are both designed with solar thermalcollectors for the schools domestic water heating. During the summer while thelargest amount of solar heat can be generated, the activity hence the domestic wateruse in the schools are heavily reduced. Both schools are connected to the local districtheating system which makes it possible to use the solar collectors to deliver heat tothe district heating.The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the two systems mentioned above and todetermine which system is more suitable to apply on a school. The building whichconditions were used for this evaluation is Röselidsskolan.A solar heating plant of each system type was dimensioned from the expected andknown conditions of the building. The purpose with the dimensioning was to makethe solar plants replace the ordinary energy source as much as possible.
