Building Information Modeling eller byggnadsinformationsmodellering används idag inom byggbranschen för att effektivisera projekteringsprocessen. Denna metod är fortfarande relativt ny inom branschen men är på väg att bli en branschstandard. Indikationer som visar på detta är att på universitetsutbildningarna Byggnadsingenjör och Affärsutveckling och entreprenörskap inom byggsektorn vid Chalmers tekniska högskola läggs stor vikt på utbildning om BIM. Många branschtidningar behandlar även detta ämne. På teknikkonsultföretaget COWI Management AB finns intresset av att se vilka möjligheter BIM-metoden kan medföra och om metoden går att överföra på processindustrin.Syftet med examensarbetet är att tydliggöra innebörden av BIM-metoden.

An increased awareness about the global warming has created a demand for more information on how the climate is affected by different activities.This master thesis was initiated by Tricorona, a Swedish company that offers its customers analysis and calculation of their climate impact. Tricorona also supplies climate neutralisation with CERs, in accordance with the Kyoto protocol and controlled by the UN. This work demands updated emission factors for greenhouse gases. An emission factor gives information about the greenhouse gasintensity of a service or a product [kg CO2-eq./ functional unit].The purpose of this thesis is to examine how electricity, district heating, hotels, taxis, food and materials affect the climate and how emission factors for these areas can be calculated.This was done by reviewing and comparing different studies and by interviewing experts. The information was evaluated and recommendations on calculations and emission factors were made.The consumption of energy is the main source of greenhouse gas emissions for district heating, electricity, hotels, taxis and materials.

Energy consumption must decrease within all sectors and the promotionof renewable sources of energy must be introduced.Each sector should aspire to decrease its energy consumption. Energyconsumption is strongly linked to waste gases that contribute to climate change.Passive houses are a part of the construction industry's methods to attain energyconservation.Passive houses are derived from low energy houses and super insulated houses. Apassive house is intended to obtain heat from the inhabitants and through theiractivities.

Today?s wind power plants are only compensated for their reactive power consumption at no-load. As the wind power plants grow bigger the amount of reactive power they need also increases. This is no longer a problem that can be ignored, especially as the net owners are beginning to charge the reactive power they transport.In this thesis a couple of different methods of compensation and their prices will be discussed and evaluated. Problems, such as self-excitation, that can occur if one fully compensates the wind power plant will also be brought to surface.

Med denna uppsats avser vi att undersöka hur kulturella skillnader kommer till uttryck vid möten inom och mellan organisationer. Fokus för undersökningen har varit Spanien-Sverige då handelsrelationerna mellan dessa länder aldrig varit mer omfattande. Detta samarbete har underlättats av medlemskapet i EU vilket förenklar handel och investeringar.Studien är kvalitativ och data har insamlats via direktintervjuer. De teorier som ligger till grund för analysen är kopplade till interkulturell kommunikation samt nationella kulturers inverkan på människors beteende.

This places high demands on long-term and smart energy solutions that willkeep the future Swedish building stock energy consumption at low levels. During the last few years, there has been a lot of debate regarding the price ofelectricity on the Swedish market. According to a recent survey from Sifo, anon-bias governmental institute for consumer research and testing, the priceof electricity is what worries Swedish households the most. An investigationof the eciency of the Nordic power grids inuence on the Swedish spotprice is therefore both relevant and valuable. Three quarters of all electricityproduced in the Nordic region is traded at the Nord Pool Spot power market.This survey examines how much of the variation of the swedish spot pricecan be descried by the variation of the nordic system price and how much iscaused because of ineciencies in the power grid. Primarily, linear regressionwith adjustments for endogeneity and heteroskedasticity has been used in orderto analyze data obtained mainly from Nord Pool Spot and Vattenfall AB.The results show that the variation of the system price can account for all butabout 40% of the variation in the Swedish spot price.

This study is preformed at Westbaltic Components placed in Töcksfors Sweden. Themain target in this study is to make one of the company?s assembly lines better andmore effective. The assembly line constructs vending machines for different stores allover Europe.It will contain tobacco, snuff, cigarettes and shaving blades and many more similarproducts.The first step in our study is to locate the daily problems and find out a good way toreduce them and make them disappear. Under intervjuerna upptäckte vi att ICA står inför vissa utmaningar när det gäller de anställdas förtroende, kommunikation och individualistiska tankesätt.
