AbstractThis degree project is about having meetings in The Swedish Social Insurance Agency, which is awide organisation. This work will concentrate on one of the projects going on within theorganisation which is travel-free meetings, where they are building a video meeting system thatallows the employees in the organisation to be able to meet with each other through the use ofvideoconferencing instead of physical meetings.In this work we will show how Kaikaku (radical system changes) along with Kaizen (continuouschange) can support an organisation to become more efficient and reduce wastage. We have donethis work in an organisation that is present in over one hundred locations in Sweden.The Social Insurance Agency has over 13 000 employees at over one hundred locations inSweden.The organisation has to be close to their customers and provide the best service aspossible. To be able to work in a uniform way, the employees get together and have meetings.Some meetings are just progress meetings and takes perhaps no more than two hours to complete.However, if seven employees from seven different locations need to have meetings, in the worstcase, they all have to meet in a common place.This is expensive for the organisation in travel costs, time and absence from work, but thetravelling also contributes to environmental pollution if the employees are travelling by a fuelpoweredvehicle.A whole day could go lost for having a meeting in about two hours if all sevenemployees went from their own cities to e.g. Stockholm for the meeting.Muda (wastage) of travel created several different types of Muda, namely:? SyfteRapporten's syfte är att ta fram ett förslag till en ny fabrik för torntillverkning som tar hänsyn till dagen's krav på resurssnålhet. Samtidigt som anläggningen har möjlighet till snabb förändring vid skiftande vindkraftstornsutbud. Bisyftet är att ge förslag på förändringar som redan i dagsläget går att implementera ho's EWP samt hur dessa bör genomföra's både nu och i den nya fabriken. MetodRapporten bygger på flertalet kvalitativa komparativa fallstudier. This Swedish essay deals with a study of two tourist brochures of Värmland from two different years, 2005 and 2007. The purpose is to examine what their differences and similarities are through a comparison. My focus is put on what tourist categories the brochures mainly turn to. I want to se if they turn to all tourists or if they lean towards a special group of people.To guide me I have used both textual and picture interpretation.I have created my own tourist categorization as a tool for my study, named The matter tourist-related categorization. It contains six categories which all have some common denominator where tourists will fit in.The result shows that all tourist categories are mentioned even if some are more frequently mentioned than others.Key words: Tourism, brochures, categorization, interpretation, nature and culture..

When building large buildings, such as compartment buildings, there is a number of deliveries arriving on the construction site daily. In order to receive these deliveries without disturbing the rest of the work going on JM often books a fixed unloading time. When doing that they can be prepared when the delivery arrives. Making sure there is a suitable unloading area, someone to meet the delivery and when needed proper machines, such as a tractor or a crane, to help unload bigger deliveries. The person receiving the delivery is supposed to make an acceptance control where they check the delivered goods making sure nothing has been damaged in transport and that they have received what they were supposed to receive.

Background: Patients with leg ulcer suffers often of woundpain. Healthcare professionals will strive after having knowledge and understanding for how woundpain influences the patient's quality of life. Aim: The aim is to elucidate the patient's experiences of pain at venous leg ulcer and the effects on their daily life. Method: The procedure has been a systematic literature overview with a systematic search in different databases. The search resulted in nine scientific articles.

This is a thesis performed at GEMS PET Systems AB in Uppsala. GEMS PET Systems AB is a company within GE Healthcare. GEMS PET Systems develops and manufactures equipment for manufacturing of radioactive isotopes for PET which is a scanner used in medical applications. The systems includes an accelerator of cyclotron type and other support equipment. One system is shipped in two or three containers depending on order configuration.

Diabetes type 2 is a fast growing illness and a global health problem, often a result from less appropriate standard of living. Lifestyle changes related to diet and physical activity are important lifestyle changes regarding to get control of the self-management and to avoid vascular complications.AimThe aim of this study was to describe patient's experiences of lifestyle changes in diabetes type 2.MethodA literature study was carried through based on 12 qualitative scientific articles.ResultsThe analysis result into two main themes and eight subthemes. Main themes where barriers and motivators for lifestyle changes and the subthemes where struggle, denial, lack of knowledge, alienation, support, motivation, acceptance and knowledge.ConclusionThis study shows that lifestyle changes are experienced different by patient with diabetes and nurses should therefore be aware of the unique and specific demands these patients require. This is important for providing a good diabetic healthcare and to help patients with their self-management.

The purpose of this essay was to see how the construction of elderly immigrants as a problem in healthcare and elderly care has been described in the relevant literature. In the course of doing so I tried to answer the following questions; What is said to be the expected problems or difficulties in work with eldely immigrants? How are the expected members of the problemgroup defined and identified? Whos perspective dominates the description of the problem, the users or the investigators? These questions were hard to answer and I had to conclude that the problem was not clearly defined; there was only an assumption of a problem. This, however, has not been a hindrance in the category of elderly immigrants being claimed to be a group with problems that need research and further investigation. The dominating perspective is that of the investigators as they are the ones who define and identify who is a part of the problemgroup..

Bakgrund och problemdiskussion: IKEA har en uttalad vision att alltid vilja bli bättre. Företaget använder sig av förbättringsarbete men arbetar inte efter någon specifik förbättringsmetod. Trots detta faktum har IKEA varit mycket framgångsrika. Förbättringsarbete påverkar så gott som samtliga i en verksamhet där inställning och engagemang hos medarbetare till sättet att arbeta med förbättringar har stor betydelse för hur väl förbättringsarbetet fungerar. Denna studie kommer att behandla följande forskningsfrågor:Hur ser förbättringsarbetet ut på IKEA Bäckebol som tillämpar förbättringsarbete men som inte har någon utvald metod för förbättringsarbetet?Hur påverkas medarbetarna på IKEA Bäckebol av förbättringsarbetet i det dagliga arbetet?Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och identifiera hur IKEA Bäckebol tillämpar förbättringsarbete samt att jämföra deras arbetssätt med utarbetade metoder som är etablerade inom området.

En förutsättning för att få folk att delta i en friskvårdssatsning är att de är motiverade. En kvalitativ studie genomfördes med syfte att beskriva och förstå den yttre och inre motivationen hos kommunanställda som deltar i en friskvårdssatsning på vattengymnastik. Femton respondenter intervjuades utifrån en intervjuguide baserad på Deci och Ryans (1985) fyra faktorer (självbestämmande, kompetens, samhörighet och glädje) som ses som en förutsättning för att motivation skall uppstå. Resultatet visade att begreppen vanemöster, kompetens, samhörighet/social kontakt samt glädje/välbefinnande var centrala för att uppnå motivation att delta i vattengymnastik. Studien antyder att en arbetsplats kan skapa yttre förutsättningar för att de anställda ska ha möjligheten att hitta en passande motionsform.
