What is e-Leadership and how can it be framed in a distance context? How can work motivation be understood as a correlated theme? In prior Leadership research and theory it has been taken for granted that Leadership occurs in a face-to-face environment, so how to study Leadership in a remote context? According to recent research, e-Leadership defines this Leader-member relation in this new arena, and a central focus of this research has been on communication. Communication is a central theme in the remote setting because it is the only interaction arena which allows Leadership to be seen and understood. By conducting a case study in a multi media organization with distance working journalists as focus group this essay aims to bring a deeper understanding of how e-Leadership works and how it effects work motivation. The field of media organizations is interesting to study as distance work is not an unusual working environment for journalists, and research has indicated that work motivation needs for these highly specified creative workers are somewhat differentiated from other, for example industrial workers, which implies that motivation theories urges an update.

ASSA AB worked during the master thesis withimplementing a common development process for all companies within the group. Ideageneration was one relative unexplored area for the group and the interest of finding effectivemethods was required, the company understood what an effective handling of ideas couldcontribute in the pursuit of more and pleased customers.The purpose of the master thesis has been to study and to map which methods are used inorder to carry out idea generation.

For the company to work well, it is necessary with a good economy, a high qualitative production and a well working system concerning the environment: the whole cycle on the farm needs to be working. At the same time, debaters about the environmental impacts are also requiring higher demands for the dairy farmers and therefore also the management programs. Management programs for feed evaluation calculations have been more developed over the years. Big amounts have been invested in the new feeding system with NorFor, but no one seems to have asked the dairy farmers what they themselves want to spend their money on, and what they need help with. For the dairy farmers it is necessary that the whole company is controlled in the right way, and much more than just feed evaluation is included in this.

Det här arbetet är en litteraturstudie som behandlar vissa övergripande lagar och regler för byggande av häststall. Det grundar sig på ett specifikt fall, och en allmän redogörelse för vad som gäller framgår i litteraturstudien. Hästnäringen i Sverige växer varje år och allt fler vill arbeta med sitt intresse. När det ska byggas ett nytt stall och ridhus är det svårt att veta vilka lagar och regler som gäller, och hur det ska finansieras. Miljökrav främst gällande gödselhantering måste uppfyllas. Kraven beror på antal djurenheter och vilket geografiskt område företaget befinner sig i. Bestämmelser kring djurskydd varierar också med antalet hästar som vistas på gården.

The aim of this thesis is to highlight how male and female characters are portrayed in children?s books, that have football as a theme, and are written for children between 9-12 years of age. I have chosen this subject so that I, as a pre-school teacher, can adhere to the curriculum?s aim of maintaining the school?s responsibility for counteracting traditional gender roles. I aim to study how gender is represented in literature for children.I shall apply Yvonne Hirdman?s theories on the gender system which is built on the principals whereby the sexes are separate entities and there is a structural hierarchy between them.

This master?s thesis was performed during the fall of 2006 at Cloetta Fazer AB in Ljungsbro. Cloetta Fazer is the market Leader in Scandinavia of manufacturing confectionary and chocolates. The purpose of the project has been to identify causes that impact the quantity of waste in production as well as a cost/benefit analysis of the solutions that can reduce the problem of production waste.The work includes four production lines that are individually designed depending on what kind of product that are produced on the line. By using qualitative and quantitative methods such as focus groups, interviews and observations data has been collected.

Throughout many years there have been discussions within the European Union (EU) regarding harmonization and improvement of accounting rules for companies with listed shares or other securities. The ambition exists to adopt, the within the union applied accounting standards, to those applied globally. These discussions lead the year 2002 to adoption by the council and parliament of international accounting standards (IFRS). The ordinance meant that all listed European companies have to adopt international accounting standards, accepted for application within the EU, for their consolidated accounts.During July 2003 the Swedish Government Official Reports issued a report (SOU 2003:71) stating, among other things, the differences and oppositions of implementing IFRS on a corporate level in Sweden, since corporate disclosure is regulated in Swedish law by Bokföringslagen (BFL) and Årsredovisningslagen (ÅRL). One of the main obstacles for the full implementation of IFRS is that a company?s annual report underlies the governmental taxation and an implementation of IFRS would affect this balance.

This study is based on interviews with five unit managers working in the functional disabilities business. The purpose of this paper is to examine how these unit managers see their roles and their Leadership, and to give the reader an insight into what it might entail to be a manager in social work. Theories applied are the role theory and three Leadership theories. The previous research this study made ??use of affects ?Leadership in social work" and "manager's role and Leadership style."Being a unit manager of the functional disabilities business means having a so-called middle management position, which entails expectations being directed upon them from various avenues.

Vilka aktörer är viktiga för Lekebergs utveckling? Det är den frågeställningen som kommer ligger till grund för denna uppsats i landsbygdsutveckling, vars syfte är att undersöka hur samarbetet mellan kommun och invånare påverkar utvecklingen i bygden. Lekeberg kommun är en utpräglad landsbygdskommun som är belägen två mil utanför Örebro. Lekeberg tillhörde tidigare Örebro kommun men är sedan 1995 en självständig kommun på frammarsch. Kommunen har en positiv befolkningsutveckling och ett aktivt näringsliv varför jag anser att det finns ett intresse i att studera kommunen. Materialet för studien har tagits fram med två olika metoder. Jag har dels intervjuat tjänstemän i Lekebergs kommun som är viktiga för kommunens utveckling, nämligen kommundirektören, förvaltningschefen, verksamhetsledaren för Leader Mellansjölandet, samordnaren för fiber i Lekeberg samt enhetschefen som är ansvarig för landsbygds- och näringslivsfrågor på länsstyrelsen i Örebro län.

Inom den svenska förskolan har antalet barn ökat i barngrupperna samtidigt som resurserna har minskat. I det ökade barngrupperna skapas det en större oro bland barnen. Pedagogerna inom den svenska förskolan upplever att det blir mycket spring och konflikter. Detta gör att pedagogerna strävar efter att hitta nya arbetssätt som minskar oron och konflikterna bland barnen. Mitt syfte i denna studie är att undersöka hur en förskola genomförde en förändringsprocess kring sin innemiljö, det vill säga rum, möblering och material.

This master thesis was written for Arla Foods and the result of the thesisserves to gain Arla Foods in its work with chemical hazardous and to bringnew academic results. The thesis aims to create a common methodology forrisk analysis with the handling of chemicals.The theories displayed in this thesis focuses on different risk managementmethods in order to build up a framework out of which a risk management toolwas created. The main primary data source consists of interviews held withemployees within Arla Foods at different facilities.The risk management tool can be found in appendix K.Available recommendations for how to evaluate risks with chemicals can befound at appropriate government agencies. These recommendations aredrawn up to suite small and medium enterprises and therefore are to narrowto make a good foundation for analysing chemical risks at large companies.With the legislation and government demands in mind, a tool has beencreated to fit a large company?s needs when managing chemical risks.

Differencesbetween the cultures can lead to many difficulties for both the employees and the employer.There is both a challenge and a necessityto find ways to communicate, and to get moreknowledge in how to follow and lead people from different background and perspectives. Theaim of this study is to investigate how Leaders through their Leadership deal with contextualdifferences between China and Sweden and which effect these differences can have.

The aim of this essay is to analyse certain succinct statements of Russian Leader Vladimir Putin. His rhetorical style in general, and these statements in particular, are distinguishing Putin from other Russian political figures. The statements have survived the test of time and lived on in the media, on the internet and in the vernacular. They have come to be called Putinisms.The essay is descriptive and treats these special statements, describes where and how they came into being and analyses them on a micro level, word by word. The analysis is also qualitative as it covers selected statements, which represent only a small portion of all the statements made by Putin within the time frame chosen for this study.
