In recent years more countries have started to blur out their national boundaries to create andrely on international collaborations. China is one of the fastest growing markets in the worldand play an important role on export and import of commodities across the globe. ManySwedish companies have more business collaborations with China than ever. Differencesbetween the cultures can lead to many difficulties for both the employees and the employer.There is both a challenge and a necessityto find ways to communicate, and to get moreknowledge in how to follow and lead people from different background and perspectives. Theaim of this study is to investigate how leaders through their leadership deal with contextualdifferences between China and Sweden and which effect these differences can have.

Syftet med föreliggande studie är att undersöka om elever agerande skiljer sig beroende på vilken miljö de befinner sig i. Åtta elever videoobserverades i två olika miljöer, inne i klassrummet och ute på skolgården, vid totalt två lektionstillfällen. De redskap som användes i analysen var Michel Focaults tankar kring subjektspositioner och makt. Vi kunde i analysen se att skolans makt genom miljön hade stor inverkan på elevernas sociala samspel. Det framkom även att subjektspositionen pojke och flicka spelade en stor betydelse.

The thesis demonstrates protection solutions that can be suitable for a camp during internationalmissions in order to resist complex threats. The threats could consist of small arms, machineguns,RPG 7, anti armour missiles, mortar, artillery, HPM-weapons, car bombs, biological and chemicalweapons as well as sabotage and theft. It?s not the technology itself that makes the threat scenariocomplex it?s the way the opponent acts during the operations. The opponent acts usually incivilian clothes and therefore he is difficult to distinguish from other civilians.

When a helicopter is flying, the dynamics vary depending on, for example, speed and position. Hence, a time-invariant linear model cannot describe its properties under all flight conditions. It is therefore desirable to update the linear helicopter model continuously during the flight. In this thesis, two different recursive estimation methods are presented, LMS (Least Mean Square) and adaptation with a Kalman filter. The main purpose of the system estimation is to get a model which can be used for feedback control.

The aim of this essay is to analyse certain succinct statements of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. His rhetorical style in general, and these statements in particular, are distinguishing Putin from other Russian political figures. The statements have survived the test of time and lived on in the media, on the internet and in the vernacular. They have come to be called Putinisms.The essay is descriptive and treats these special statements, describes where and how they came into being and analyses them on a micro level, word by word. The analysis is also qualitative as it covers selected statements, which represent only a small portion of all the statements made by Putin within the time frame chosen for this study.

Studien syftar till att undersöka hur förskolechefer beskriver vetenskaplig grund och beprövad erfarenhet och hur de tänker att begreppen ska implementeras i verksamheten.Våra frågeställningar är:Hur uppfattar förskolecheferna   innebörden av begreppen vetenskaplig grund och beprövad erfarenhet och dess innebörd för den pedagogiska verksamheten?  På vilket sätt uppfattar de att dessa begrepp kan implementeras i verksamheten?För att få svar på våra frågor genomförde vi intervjuer med fyra förskolechefer.

This thesis is an attempt to see if it is possible to achieve these goals with the new modern tool iPad.The author of this thesis has during the latter half of his one year practice work in Uppsala for the Swedish building construction company NCC Construction Sverige AB, conducted a study on the possibility of using the iPad on an construction site. This has been done with active field studies in which applications have been tested and also the supervisors receptive. The usability of the iPad has always been in focus since it is important that the applications are easy to use and easy to learn.The results of the work, as presented in this report, points at opportunities in efficiency if the iPad is introduced and used on construction site. There are many useful applications for the iPad, and with a system that can handle the synchronization between the iPad and the computer, the workflow will be streamlined significantly..

This master thesis was written for Arla Foods and the result of the thesisserves to gain Arla Foods in its work with chemical hazardous and to bringnew academic results. The thesis aims to create a common methodology forrisk analysis with the handling of chemicals.The theories displayed in this thesis focuses on different risk managementmethods in order to build up a framework out of which a risk management toolwas created. The main primary data source consists of interviews held withemployees within Arla Foods at different facilities.The risk management tool can be found in appendix K.Available recommendations for how to evaluate risks with chemicals can befound at appropriate government agencies. These recommendations aredrawn up to suite small and medium enterprises and therefore are to narrowto make a good foundation for analysing chemical risks at large companies.With the legislation and government demands in mind, a tool has beencreated to fit a large company?s needs when managing chemical risks.

This thesis treats the information the insurance company is going to give the policyholders just before the insurance is to be concluded and soon thereafter. The purpose for the essay is to investigate whether the mentioned information can be considered to meet the purpose referred to its establishment. The investigation will also show if the penalty for not upholding this obligation is reasonable in relation to the aim the duty to inform the policyholders is meant to uphold.Information to be provided before the contract is concluded should facilitate the choice of insurance. The information to be given to the policyholders as soon as possible after the contract is concluded should be given as a form of confirmation and information on conditions that has not been stated before. The purposes that have been mentioned is for both the information to consumers and companies.The conclusion that can be made after the analysis is that the information is of great importance for the policyholder, both for consumers and companies.

Sara Lidman?s first novel, Tjärdalen (The Tar Pit, 1953), addresses ethical issues in a remote village in the north of Sweden. This essay discusses the novel?s narrative technique and the ethical aspects implied by the narration and aesthetic design. The approach is based on Adam Zachary Newton?s narrative ethics, which links narrative theory and method with an ethical perspective.

Den här uppsatsen har undersökt hur tjänsteföretag i form av frisörsalonger från olika prissegment, med hjälp av marknadsföring positionerar sig mot olika kundgrupper, och frågar vilka möjligheter och risker som är inbegripna i den position på marknaden tjänsteföretagen genom sin marknadsföring väljer att ta. Genom att använda både den för tjänsteföretag utvecklade marknadsföringsmixen tillsammans med relationsmarknadsföringsteorin, kunde vi med hjälp av att göra intervjuer med nio frisörsalonger ge en noggrann beskrivning av frisörsalongernas marknadsföringsarbete. Resultaten visar att de företag som gör det mesta av marknadsföringsmixen olika delar har bättre möjligheter att på olika sätt differentiera sina tjänster och konkurrera på marknaden. Vi kan också visa att relationsmarknadsföring är frisörföretagens mest grundläggande marknadsföringsverktyg. Relationerna som är kopplade till den enskilda frisören innebär dock en risk genom att kunden följer frisören om denne byter arbetsplats..

This subject of interest in this paper is the ideas expressed and formulated in the making andinauguration of the Branting-monument at Norra Bantorget in Stockholm. The initiative for a monument honoring the late Social Democratic leader Hjalmar Brantingwas taken at the Swedish Social Democratic Party Congress in 1928. In 1935 the party board decided to give the task of designing the monument to the much renowned artist Carl Eldh. A national fund-raising campaign for the monument was also initiated. In1942 the model of the monument was completed, but because of the war it was stored in a shelter.

Larmet har ett brett användningsområde för mobila och stationära applikationer. Larmboxen kommer vara ansluten till Internet via en inbyggd mobiltelefon (GPRS). Där finns också en inbyggd GPS-mottagare för att bestämma boxens position.

There are two kinds of surface lifts, platter and T-bars. The two kinds of surface lifts have some variation in design but only minor differences.
