This report is part of a Bachelor?s degree corresponding to 15 creditsat the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. The work hasbeen carried out by Max Wikander, author of the report, supervisedby Lanie Gutierrez-Farewik and Erik Dijkstra.Gait analysis includes measurement, characterization and assessmentof human movement and is used to assess kinematic or otherabnormalities during gait. Center of rotation and the axis of rotationof a joint are fundamental parameters in motion analysis. However,the ability to create individualized analysis is limited by the lack ofaccuracy when these parameters are calculated.

Undersökningen syftar till att beskriva och analysera hur de sex största revisionsbyråerna i Sverigepåverkats av svensk kod för bolagsstyrning. Problemformuleringen är tredelad och avser att besvarafrågor om hur revisionsbyråerna anpassat sig efter koden, hur de anskaffat kompetens om den, samtmedarbetarnas åsikter om den.För att kunna besvara problemformuleringen har en abduktiv ansats använts och en kvalitativstudie genomförts. Empirin har samlats in genom intervjuer med en medarbetare per revisionsbyrå. Ilitteraturdelen beskrivs och refereras svensk kod för bolagsstyrning. För att läsaren skall kunna få enökad förståelse om kodens syfte och tillämpning har en intervju med Kodgruppens ordförande ErikÅsbrink genomförts.

This implementation study looks into whether or not students? weak position of power results from something other than a democratising of schools taking priority when student influence is encouraged.With an aim of explaining what is hoped to be achieved and if these intentions are to be spread, the purpose is to investigate to what extent standards concerning student democracy are transferred between institutions. In order to find out, the question is posed of whether their aims for student democracy conform. This overriding question is coupled together with the following four defining research questions:1.

This Master?s thesis explores three contemporary Swedish poets? ? Lars Mikael Raattamaa, Anna Hallberg and Johan Jönson ? understanding of their work as a political activity. By using Jonathan Culler?s theory on literary competence and literary conventions as a theoretical tool for an idea analysis, the three poets' arguments for or against certain literary techniques, and their ideas about readers and reading, are explored and discussed. In what ways are established literary methods questioned by the three poets? In what ways are established theories on readers and reading questioned? In what way can their poetic work be regarded as political? As a background, the debate about poetry in Swedish newspapers and literary magazines is presented, as well as the common focus on readers and reading in social sciences and in humanities and arts.

Holmen Skog has in some places in their operation area access to timber trucks with centre mounted scrapers. They make transportation more flexible and reduce reliance on contractors for road maintenance. The trucks with centre mounted scrapers have a higher tare weight, making them less productive and therefore they receive compensation with a 0.75 % increase on transportation price. The purpose of this study was to investigate what actions a timber truck with centre mounted scraper can perform with acceptable quality in winter, and to examine if it is an economically profitable solution for the truck operator and charterer. The study was done in three stages; interviews, performance analysis of the transportations carried out and an economic analysis with the help of Sven Erik Gilles spreadsheet tool. The study included the districts Delsbo and Hudiksvall.

SammanfattningDenna rapport innefattar ett examensarbete individuellt utfört av Erik Lindh, studerande på Karlstads universitet. Projektet är ett obligatoriskt moment i högskoleingenjörsprogrammet med inriktning maskinteknik.Examensarbetet har utförts under våren 2014. Projektet har utförts på företaget VoltAir System i Torsby, där Johan Brekke varit handledare. Företaget producerar, levererar samt monterar luftbehandlingssystem som är marknadens energieffektivaste. Företaget har under slutet av 2013 börjat tillverka en ny produkt.

The main purpose of this work was to examine the information behavior of nonfiction publishing Company editors. Three problem areas were presented and expressed in the following questions:- What is the information need of the editor in every day work?- Which sources of information do the editors use when they are looking for information and how do they make use of them?- Are there any factors that have an influence on the information behavior of the editors and in what way do the factors effect the information behavior of the editors in their everyday work? And finally, do the editors experience any factors as barriers to information behavior?Six editors, all with academical background, all employed in different publishing companies were interviewed. The result of this study have been analysed within a theoretical framework influenced by the work of Tom Wilson, Lars Höglund and Olle Persson and Block and Lagberg. The result shows that the editors had various regular needs of information in their every day work.

I västvärlden har det blivit nästintill en trend för företag att göra namnbyten. I USA byter cirka 3000 företag namn varje år. 1990 låg den siffran på 1000, vilket innebär en ökning med 300 % på cirka 15 år. De stora finansiella summor som används vid namnbyten indikerar på att företagsnamnet är av stor betydelse. Men varför gör dessa företag namnbyten, och hur går de tillväga vid namnändringen? Syftet med den här studien är att besvara dessa frågor.För att kunna besvara dessa frågor har vi använts oss utav kvalitativ metod, då vi vill gå på djupet genom att besvara ?varför? och ?hur?.

Abstract in EnglishElsa Grave (1918-2003) is a Swedish writer, artist and composer. The aim of my study is to analyse the female character in Mödrar som vargar, (Mothers As Wolves), which is a collection of poems written in 1972.The analysis is divided into four parts. First I analyse the figures of speech of the female ?I? in the poems. In the second part I`m dealing with how she acts and relates to men.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka om naturläkemedlet Ibogain kunde vara en bra behandling för missbruk. För att kunna besvara detta har kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts med fyra personer som genomgått Ibogain-behandling och en psykolog/psykoterapeut på en beroendeklink, Lars Lundell. Utöver dessa intervjuer har en klinik i London besökts som utför Ibogain-behandling. På kliniken gjordes en observationsstudie av behandlingen, samt intervjuer med klinikchefen Dr Brackenridge och en av hans patienter, i uppsatsen kallad Will. Studiens perspektiv utgår från informanterna och våra egna observationer om Ibogain-behandling.

I vilka ålderskategorier beskrivs symtomen som mest framträdande? I vilka miljöer framträder symtomen som beskrivs hos flickorna? Studiens tolkningsram är tidigare forskning och Erik H Eriksons modell över den psykosociala utvecklingen människans åtta åldrar. Metodvalet är kvalitativt med deduktiv ansats. Studien bygger på ett urval journaler, totalt 34 stycken, på flickor mellan 7 och 18 år som diagnostiserats med ADHD och som varit aktuella för utredning och behandling mellan 2005-03-01 och 2006-03-01 på en barn- och ungdomspsykiatrisk klinik i en mellansvensk stad.

The purpose of this thesis is to identify and analyse the view and consciousness of history present in essays written by Swedish high school students in 1877 and 1929. A theoretical framework was established in order to accomplish this, based on the theories of Peter Aronsson and Jörn Rüsen (through Lars Andersson Hult) that defines consciousness of history through a matrix that expresses a progression as well as a scaling complexity. Furthermore, the theories of Knut Kjelstadli and Magnus Hermansson Adler were adopted to establish two different types of view of history: one adhering to a view of history where groups and individuals are seen as integral to the progression of history, and the other explains historical process through more functional explanations, such as dependant on cultural and social structures.This framework erects ideal-types of different types of view and consciousness of history, and the thesis at hand strives to categorise the different kinds of view and consciousness of history found in the studied essays in accordance with these ideal-types through two different models based on the above mentioned theories.The findings presented here largely point to a view of history that is largely centered on an actor-oriented view of history, where individuals such as kings and generals are given a central position when historical events are being narrated, and is present in both 1877 and 1929, with some shifting nuances. As for the consciousness of history the lion part of the analysed texts can be seen adhering to a more traditional type of consciousness in 1877, although a slight shift can be seen towards a more complex type of consciousness in the texts from 1929..
