The purpose of this study is to examine a preschool's work to counteract traditional gender roles, which strategies are used and how norms about gender roles are produced and treated. The study also examines whether the preschool has an intersectional perspective in it's gender work, which analyzes how they relate to other categories such as ethnicity, race, class, age and sexuality in their work. I have been observing and conducting four interviews with teachers at a preschool with a gender profile. In my analysis I have used Foucault's theories about discourse and power. The results show that the informants had a high awareness of gender and that the main strategies used were: an individual perspective, seeing the individual and not the sex, and a gender-neutral strategy, removing everything that is gendered, for example, in language and environment.

Possessory liens and legal liens are two securities that has been the subject of debate from legal scholars for quite some time. Possessory liens are often viewed as a weaker security compared to legal liens. However, upon closer examination it turns out that possessory liens in most cases provide the the same opportunity to sell the property withheld as security. This possibility makes possessory liens resemble, if not be identical to, legal liens. Both securities arise by operation of law and grant the right to both withhold and sell property in the event of non-payment.

I Sverige finns det nästan 300 myndigheter som kontrollerar olika delar av livsmedelskedjan från jord till bord. De flesta av dessa myndigheter är kommunala nämnder som genom sina tjänstemän sköter tillsynen av många olika sorters livsmedelsverksamheter. En av dessa verksamheter är gårdsmejerier och andra mindre mejerier som i många kommuner är de anläggningar med högst riskklassning och dessutom oftast unika i sitt slag, vilket ställer storakrav på de kommunala livsmedelsinspektörerna.Den konflikt som ofta kan uppstå vid de tillsynsbesök som inte motsvarar båda parters förväntningar och önskningar kan ofta leda till misstro och en dålig dialog. Detta kan leda till problem både för företagare och för inspektörer som får ett sämre arbetsklimat. För att komma till rätta med dessa problem måste man undersöka vad som fungerar bra och lära sig av dessa goda exempel.

This report presents suggestions and recommendations on how to convert an old industrial building, built in 1958, to an office hotel. One of the main criteria was that the floor plan should be flexible. The building is situated at Jonsereds Fabriker and the study was conducted for Hantverkslokaler i Göteborg AB, the estate owner.The survey is initiated with study visits at various office hotels, together with studies of literature regarding office planning. One conclusion from the study visits is that meeting-places, where the different companies can meet and exchange ideas and services, are important. Another one, and probably the most important parameter when planning offices is that they should have windows.

I detta examensarbete har vi undersökt några av byggstenarna i ett skivbolags verksamhet som också utgör grunden för deras inkomster. Resultatet av arbetet blev en påbörjad produktion och marknadsföring av en skiva och en plan för lanseringen av densamma. Genom detta har vi skapat oss en praktisk erfarenhet av arbetslivet i musikbranschen. Arbetet har dessutom genomförts med en för ändamålet låg budget. Vi har även undersökt olika marknadsföringsmöjligheter och intervjuat två yrkesverksamma personer i detta ämne. .

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka faktorer i uppväxten som kan ha betydelse för utvecklandet av ett missbruk. Fokus har varit att belysa vilka riskfaktorer i uppväxten som kan påverka utvecklandet av ett missbruk, samt vilka skyddsfaktorer som är viktiga för att ett barn ska utvecklas gynnsamt. Studien baseras på en kvalitativ metod där fyra semistrukturerade intervjuer har utförts och grundar sig på fyra respondenter med erfarenhet av ett eget alkohol- och drogmissbruk, och deras berättelser om sin uppväxt. Studiens avsikt har varit att utifrån inlärningsteoretiska utgångspunkter förstå uppväxtens betydelse för utvecklandet av ett missbruk. Faktorer som kan påverka individer har delats in i tre huvudgrupper: Biologiska, psykologiska och sociala faktorer.

The essay is about how immigrant pupils are integrated into the Swedish school and society. I have studied how teachers work with integrating these pupils and if there is a plan of act used in their work. The essay is also about how social relations can be used as a pedagogical resource by the teachers when the institutional framework and support is failing..

Purpose/aim: My purpose is to illustrate the significance of the language in communication with immigrants having a different native language, who suffers from dementia. The three main questions have been:How important is the native language in the communication with immigrant who suffers from dementia?What consequences can happen for the immigrant who does not understand Swedish? How can we use the salutogenesis point of view to create satisfactory care for immigrants who has difficulties to make them self understood in the Swedish language? Material/method: I made qualitative interviews with staff working in nursing homes with dementia care. I also searched scientific articles and other findings in this area of science. Main results: The best care for immigrants with dementia is nursing homes where the staff speaks the immigrant?s native language.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how investments are justified in the Swedish data center industry, with a focus on cooling equipment. This is achieved through semi-structured interviews with 20 different interviewees. These interviewees represent different facets of the industry and facilitate an understanding of which factors, such as: investment costs, operating costs, reliability, environmental impact and the influence of external and internal actors, come into play and to which degree they impact the investment decision-making process. The results show that primarily low operating cost in the form of low energy consumption is the driving factor when it comes to the procurement of new equipment. A lower environmental impact is a positive side-effect of lower energy consumption.

Denna uppsats är ett examensarbete inom ämnet Biomekanik. Studenterna Ingrid Bertilsson och Viktor Larsson har utfört ett utvecklingsprojekt i samarbete med Hälsoteknikcentrum Halland (HCH). Projektet har med en användarcentrerad utvecklingsprocess arbetat fram en funktions prototyp av ett växlat rullstolshjul och en reglerande lösning. Funktionsprototypen har också möjliggjort tester. Denna prototyp är utvecklad för att avhjälpa de rullstolsburnas problem med lutande plan och svårmanövrerad terräng.

Skogsvårdsorganisationen startade en rikstäckande utbildningskampanj under 1999 kallad Grönare Skog. En viktig del av kampanjen utgjordes av de demon­ strationsområden som planerades och färdigställdes under våren 1999. För de landskapsavsnitt där demonstrationsområdena förlades krävdes ett fördjupat underlag med avseende både på kulturella och biologiska faktorer. Syftet med examensarbetet var att ta fram planeringsunderlag på landskapsnivå för de aktuella områdena i form av temakartor över t.ex. lövskogsandel och nyckel­ biotoper, att studera den historiska förändringen av lövskogens utbredning samt att genomföra en analys med avseende på skogens ekonomiska nuvärde.

This essay aims to investigate the use of an origin-ID within the Beaker Complex, as defined by John C. Barrett, seen through their different expressions of use in ceramic form and ornamentation, architecture and landscape through time and space with special emphasis on the late Neolihtics in the South of England. The analytic vehicle "the reinforcing circle" is used as a new diffusion model suggested by Stuart Needham, and the analytic tool "incubation" is used to structure the process the Beaker-cultures may have used to reach cultural hegemony. Id est, that the Beaker-cultures socially invites already existing cultures, offering within family and trading the results of new technolo­gies. And/or, occupy the space and use the authority needed by re-writing the narrative as seen in the grave use and grave deposits.

This paper aims to investigate whether a small organization with small development teams can find a value in leaving a functioning development process to follow a formal systems development methodology, if these organizations can find support in an agile systems development method and in such case the method needs to be adjusted according to the organizations unique conditions.A traditional plan-driven system development methodology includes a number of phases that are carried out sequentially and a completed phase can basically not be resumed. All requirements are specified at the beginning of a project and at the end of the project only one delivery of software take place. This can cause difficulties in for example dealing with changing requirements. Agile system development methods intend to deal with changing requirements and to enable continuous delivery of valuable, working software.In this paper, both the traditional plan-driven methods and agile methods will be explained. Research methodology and existing system development theories will be discussed and a company where the study has been conducted will be presented.
