SV: I januari 2003 fick homosexuella registrerade partners rätt att prövas som adoptivföräldrar i Sverige, i enlighet med en proposition från 2001. Beslutet kom först efter en lång debatt; redan 1986 lades en proposition fram som behandlade frågan och avslog den. Denna uppsats är en studie av de argument som förkommer i propositionerna. Syftet har varit dels att beskriva och analysera de argument som använts i debatten, dels att tematisera upp dem och ta fram bakomliggande normer. Uppsatsen har för avsikt att ta reda på vad i normerna det är som har förändrats.

This is an essay in Swedish on the subject of democracy and demonstrations of collective violence. The study is based on a conflict between the youth-house movement in Copenhagen and the state of Denmark - the city of Copenhagen. The focus is over the period December 2006 until January 2008 with reflection on the political movement around the youth-house from the 80's and onwards. This political movement roots back to the late 60's and especially the squatting movement, the BZ, of Europe which had a strong period in Denmark both in the 60's and the 80's. There is also a strong connection to other political movements of anti-fascism, anti-globalisation, queer activism and equal rights.

This master thesis summarizes contemporary theories on secularization processes in the Western world, and compares these with the example of Sweden, which by many scholars is considered to be the most secularized country in the Western world.I do this by dividing the most influential theorists in five different groups. In each group I explain how the theorists formulate and motivate their positions. These groups are:1) The secularization paradigm, where secularization always accompanies modernization. (Therorists: Steve Bruce and Peter Berger (in the 1960s)2) The paradigm basically accepted, but revised to depend on existential security, rather than modernisation as such. Title: Improvisation ? a pedagogical perspective. This investigation studies how church musicians and pianists describe the use of improvisation in their teaching. But my main concern with this essay must be thought of as a brief and personal mapping of Christian belief and it´s rational status in relation to both basic philosophy and the other great religious traditions. Furthermore, I am anxious to widen the perspectives of that which theoretically can be considered substantially real, and the existential consequences that follows on such a study. In doing so I must make sure that it´s properly anchored in history of both philosophy and religion, and of course ? with the general idea of God.

This thesis examines the organization Empower and their members, who consist of sex working women in Thailand. The purpose is to explore the more liberal point of view of prostitution and how the female members perceive Empower. Furthermore the study investigates if the organization can improve the sex workers empowerment. The study also delineates how these women reflect on their professional role as a sex working woman and whether the women relate to feminine discourses. The study is implemented in Chiang Mai, Thailand during the fall of the year 2010 and is based on qualitative methods like interview, focus group, observations and text analysis.

I meet in my work as art teacher many students of different descent, were they, or their parents, have different school experience than the Swedish. This, in combination with therecent discussion after the Muhammad caricatures about the banning of images in Islamic religion, made me curious to study what art education in a Muslim country looked like. I went to visit the Maramra Egitim Köyü school in Istanbul, Turkey, and especially their art classesfrom grade five to eight, which are the same age of students that I have been working with thelast ten years. This was my first visit to Turkey.The question I ask is: What does the practice of Turkish art education look like, using the Marmara school as an example. Which discourses can I identify in the art teacher practice? What surprised me the most was the frequent visual exposure of the founder of the Turkishstate, Kemal Atatürk.

Flooding events are no longer rare, floods occur all over the world. Accordingly, it is vital for the society and different authorities to work with flood mapping. To meet the goal of Uppsala kommun to map the risks of floods in Uppsala län, a map of the different areas around Funboån which are inside the area of risk for flooding have been developed.In the work, cross sections and the water flow have been measured. Moreover, an echo-sounding have been carried out in Funboån to map the bottom topography. From the bottom map and laser scanned data covering the study area, a terrain model was created.

Manliga sjuksköterskor är en minoritet såväl som en anomali. En allmänt utbredd föreställning existerar om behovet av ett större antal män inom vården. Vårt syfte är att studera konstruktion av maskuliniteter hos sjuksköterskor i vården. Vi vill även söka efter vilka hinder, strategier och möjligheter som finns i skärningspunkten mellan maskuliniteter och vård. Industrialisation, modernisation and urbanisation are common words used to describe an evolving community. General patterns are often linked to the meaning of the above words but can these patterns be applied to individual parishes on the agricultural countryside?The purpose of this study is to seek moving patterns and how they change during the 19th century in the parish of Västra Eneby, municipal of Kinda, Östergötland. The main thesis is that the study will show an increasing intensity of translocations over the parish border towards the end of the 19th century.The study is based on material from Västra Eneby?s church archives to establish statistical data beginning with 1809 and with a sample rate of 10 years, ending with 1909.

Abstract Sofia Petrisi (2010) Jämställd förskola? ? En studie om pedagogers syn på genus. Malmö högskola. Detta examensarbete belyser pedagogers syn på och kunskap om genus och jämställdhet. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur tre arbetslag på en förskola ser på sitt arbete med genus. Förhoppningen är att arbetet väcker tankar kring genus och att det startar upp diskussioner i ämnet. Frågeställningarna i arbetet är: Hur ser pedagoger på sina kunskaper om genus i sin yrkesroll och i stort? Hur ser pedagoger på jämställdhet på förskolan? Hur upplever pedagoger behovet av kunskap om genus i arbetet på förskolan? I den teoretiska delen används tidigare forskning och teorier om genus med inriktning på förskolan och som sen kopplas till det empiriska materialet. Vad gällande tidigare forskning används Maria Hedlin och Ingegerd Tallberg-Bromans resonemang om kön och genus, därefter presenteras Yvonne Hirdmans teori om genusordningen.

I denna studie har jag valt att analysera två svenska ungdomsfilmer som behandlar ett ämne som är högst aktuellt i dagens samhälleliga debatt; hur unga kvinnor skuldbeläggs av sin omgivning efter att ha blivit utsatta för sexuella övergrepp, trakasserier eller våldtäkt. Mitt syfte är att undersöka konstruerandet av könsidentiteter i de två svenska ungdomsfilmerna ?Hip Hip hora? och ?Säg att du älskar mig? som båda använts i utbildningssyfte i svenska skolor. Vidare vill jag undersöka hur konstruktionen av kön samverkar med skapandet av sexualitet, ras/etnicitet och klass i de två filmerna. För att undersöka detta har jag använt mig av en kvalitativ metod; narrationsanalys.
