Under hösten 2007 gjordes en inventering av sötvattensmusslor i vattendrag och sjöar i VÀstra Götalands lÀn, Sverige. Studien fokuserade pÄ andelen juveniler i förhÄllande till total populationsstorlek hos ett antal arter, eftersom detta vÀrde antas ge en indikation pÄ föryngringens status inom musselpopulationerna. I detta projekt har fyra av de lokaler som studerades Är 2007 besökts pÄ nytt och en inventering av arten allmÀn dammussla (Anodonta anatina) har gjorts. Syftet var att se om det har skett nÄgon förÀndring sedan den förra undersökningen. Har andelen juveniler inom de undersökta populationerna ökat eller minskat? Inventeringen i kombination med de statistiska analyserna kunde inte pÄvisa nÄgon verklig förÀndring pÄ nÄgon av lokalerna.

The purpose of this study is to examine how two Muslim feminists perceive themselves to betreated by the Swedish majority society and within the secular feminist movement. Thesurvey was conducted using qualitative method with a total of two interviews. For the study'stheoretical perspectives, I have used postcolonialism and postcolonial feminism. The result ofthe survey and the analysis show that the informants say that they face an image of Muslimwomen as considered being under oppression. The informants believe that this stereotypicalimage has its origin from the colonial period.

In light of health scandals and intense debate in the media about the elderly, the authors investigates two Swedish newspaper and their depiction of elder care in Sweden. Using Faircloughs three-dimensional model and critical discourse analysis, it is investigated if there is a more prominent discourse and if so the impact of globalization on this discourse concerning swedish elderly care. A sample of a total of ten articles in the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter is analyzed. The authors found that older people who are granted home help or place of accommodation rarely make their voices heard. Rarely were also relatives of residents given the opportunity to speak.

Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka vad en erfaren improvisationsmusiker, Joakim Milder, anser vara betydelsefullt för att bli en god musiker och improvisatör. Resultaten kopplas till relevant litteratur och egna erfarenheter inom omrÄdet. Arbetet grundas pÄ en kvalitativ intervju med Joakim Milder och tar upp praktiska, mentala och andliga aspekter. Jag har kommit fram till att det handlar om att inte stÄ i vÀgen för musiken, det vill sÀga: mÄlet Àr att uppnÄ en sÄdan nivÄ musikaliskt, teoretiskt, gehörsmÀssigt och mentalt, att man upplever total frihet att uttrycka sig konstnÀrligt pÄ det sÀtt man önskar. En öppen, nyfiken attityd och ett intresse för improvisation underlÀttar lÀrandet.

This thesis is a report of the practical aspects and the problems of classification and documentation of a collection of memorabilias from the Crown Princess Couple's Wedding in Stockholm 2010. The collection contains 38 objects collected by Nordiska museet [The Nordic Museum], Sweden's largest museum of cultural history. Nordiska museet has a total collection of over 1,5 million items collected since 1873. My ambition in this thesis has been to describe my work with the classification and documentation of these new objects and their context. One of the main problems was how to combine the modern objects with the old existing collection within the two classification systems used at the museum.

Uppdragsgivaren VÄgab AB i Karlstad sÀljer vÄgutrustningar för mobil vÀgning.Examensarbetet behandlar de tvÄ uppdragen lastindikator för bladfjÀdrade lastbilar och en lastvÀxlarvÄg för lastbilar.Lastindikatorn Àr tÀnkt som ett billigt alternativ för att uppskatta lastad vikt pÄ bladfjÀdrade lastbilar nÀr andra alternativ saknas. VÀgningen utgÄr frÄn att mÀta fjÀderhöjden i hjulupphÀngningen med ultraljudsutrustning. Vid ökad vikt pÄ lastbilsflaket minskar fjÀderhöjden vilket anvÀnds för att indikera lasten. This thesis investigates if a system for small scale electricity production located in anurban environment can be profitable. The work has been divided up into two parts,one extensive literature study and one case study. The purpose of the literature studywas to investigate the area, resulting in a choice of which technology to be studied indepth in a case study.In the case study a system containing small scale wind turbines and photovoltaicsmounted on GrÀnby Centrums roof was examined. From data containing wind power,wind direction and total irradiation, possible production from a system weresimulated. Three products of each technology were examined in the simulations.From the simulated production an economic analysis was carried out, this toinvestigate if a system is profitable.

Har platsbaserat polisiĂ€rt arbete en brottsminskande effekt? Minskar bara en viss typ av kriminalitet? Flyttar brottsligheten bara pĂ„ sig? - Genom lĂ€mpliga sökord och vĂ€lkĂ€nda databaser valdes de studier ut som hade bra utvĂ€rderingsdesigner. Resultatet blev 14 studier varav 9 randomiserade experiment, 4 kvasiexperimentella studier och 1 metaanalys. Översikten visar pĂ„ en delad bild nĂ€r det kommer till signifikant effekt vid brottsminskning.

A unified model of stress and affect consciousness was proposed. The connection between affect consciousness and perceived stress was studied. Teachers (n = 19) were interviewed using Monsens affect interview, followed one month later by a questionnaire containing Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-S, STAI-T) and Twenty Item Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20).Statistical analysis showed no connections between level of total affect consciousness and perceived stress. Though there were some indications of a negative relationship between affect consciousness and trait anxiety. There were also indications, using a complementary analysis, of a connection between level of affect consciousness on the subscale distress in the interview and perceived stress.

The purpose of the study was to examine if intrinsic motivation and work commitment to the organization differs between permanent doctors and hired doctors. The total of 63 doctors who participated in the study made an internet-based survey with 21 questions taken from the Basic Need Satisfaction at Work Scale and 3 questions from the section ?work commitment? in QPS Nordic. The main results of the study showed that permanent doctors perceived a higher level of intrinsic motivation on all the three needs autonomy, competence and relatedness. Furthermore the result showed a tendency that permanent doctors perceived a higher level of work commitment to the organization then hired doctors..

Our report procedure identification of instability and disturbance in an automatic manufacturing line of processing and assembling of chair sliding rails at Sapas manufacturing department in Vetlanda.To obtain a stabile ground we have mapped the material flow to receive a comprehensive view and to visualise connections.We have examined cycle times at different stations in purpose to identificate bottlenecks. The result of our examination showed that the bottleneck of the line was the brush station. This leads to that the expected bottlenecks identificated by Sapa gets a delay time and by that a longer cycle time.Interruptions has a clear negative influence at the line performance so we have also assemble data through the operators report list and compiled these in order to find out the interruptions effect on the line. The outcome during our assembled period was that the reported interruptions corresponded about 30 percent of the total available production time. This has a clear negative effect on the line productivity and efficiency as we have calculated in order to get the present status..
