School development based on the experience of a few teachers from Swedish Upper Secondary Schools
Vilka möjligheter har lÀrare att pÄverka inriktningen pÄ utvecklingsarbetet pÄ den egna skolan? Hur identifieras utvecklingsbehoven och av vem? Vilka verktyg förfogar lÀrarna över för att utveckla skolan?
Syftet med studien Àr att ta reda pÄ den syn nÄgra lÀrare pÄ gymnasiet har pÄ sin roll i skolutvecklingsarbetet. Syftet Àr ocksÄ att ta reda pÄ om det finns nÄgra gemensamma mönster i lÀrarnas sÀtt att resonera kring skolutveckling och sina möjligheter att pÄverka.
I arbetet ges en bakgrund och nÄgra teoretiska utgÄngspunkter kring skolframgÄng, skolan som lÀrande organisation, skolutveckling, profession och ledarskap. Intervjuer med lÀrare pÄ tvÄ gymnasieskolor i en skÄnsk kommun har genomförts.
Det Àr i mötet med eleverna som utvecklingsbehoven identifieras och de viktigaste verktygen för utveckling Àr egen reflektion och dialog med kollegor samt fortbildning.

The preschool should lay the foundations for lifelong learning in a good educational activity. Preschool curriculum is designed to enhance the quality of the educational activities. To translate the curriculum in business, the importance of early childhood special education knowledge. With regard to the completion of theoretical knowledge requires the ability to translate theory into real action. Professionalism is essential to anchor the curriculum in daily operations.The study's purpose was to investigate preschool teachers' perception of professionalism and how the implementation of the preschool curriculum in their daily business functions.The study was an interview with four pre-school professionals with the spread in age and experience.

Syftet med vÄr studie Àr att undersöka hur Riksdagens beslut som lyder som följande, att 30 minuter om dagen i skolan skall bestÄ av nÄgon form av rörelse utöver Àmnet idrott och hÀlsa. Detta gör vi med hjÀlp av lÀrare i Àmnet idrott och hÀlsa. Friskis & Svettis har för ÀndamÄlet tagit fram en produkt som heter Röris, som utbildar lÀrare i grundskolans tidigare Är och ger dem material för att fylla ut dessa 30 minuter. Regeringen och Friskis & Svettis har samma mÄl-sÀttning till de 30 minuternas innehÄll, men det Àr till viss del samma som stÄr i kursplanen för Àmnet idrott och hÀlsa. Vi har gjort en studie om och kring professionen hos lÀrare i Àmnet idrott och hÀlsa.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the role of librarian in order to illustrate how the librarians work, how their competence and education have changed and developed during the last decade, and ultimately to see what the role of librarian looks like in the 21^st century. After describing the librarians work, competence and education in the 21^st century, we discuss whether or not the changes that have arisen during the last decennium have affected the possibilities for librarianship to develop into an accepted profession. The method of investigation is a qualitative analysis of printed sources. As a basis of the discussion and analysis Andrew Abbotts theory of professions is used. We also use Per Tengblads analysis model, which includes six important steps in analysing the professionalism of an occupation.
Getting well by getting together : how organizational culture influence auditors? well-being
PÄ senare Är har sjukskrivningarna i Sverige ökat pÄ grund av arbetsrelaterad stress, vilket tros bero pÄ den ökade stressen i dagens samhÀlle. Forskning visar att arbetsrelaterad stress ofta drabbar individer som har kontakt med och ansvarar för mÀnniskor. Det kan bero pÄ att tidigare forskning inom well-being, vÀlmÄende, frÀmst har riktats mot lÀkarkÄren. Eftersom revisorer, precis som lÀkare, anses vara en profession av mÄnga, finns det incitament att Àven studera revisorers well-being. Tidigare forskning har pÄvisat att organisationskulturen bÄde kan ha en positiv och en negativ inverkan pÄ en individs well-being, vilket medför att vi har valt att studera hur olika organisationskulturer inom revisionsbyrÄer pÄverkar revisorns wellbeing.Genom att i ett första skede genomföra pilotintervjuer med revisorsassistenter, har detta gett oss en god inblick i deras arbetssituation, vilket har bistÄtt oss i utformandet av en enkÀt.
FörvÀntningsgapet : Vad revisionsinsatsen i HQ Bank innebÀr för förvÀntningsgapet
Problem: That the stakeholder?s expectations donÂŽt answer to what auditors can and may do have been a problem for several years. This problem was defined for the first time by Liggio at 1974. Since 1974 there have been several researches about the expectation gap for auditors.Purpose: The purpose of our study is to research what the audit effort in HQ Bank means for the expectation gap.Theory: The theories in our study discuss the audit profession, the definition of the expectation gap, how trust develops between individuals, the regulations that the authorities discuss and a review of earlier researches in this subject.Method: We have done a qualitative study in which we interviewed approved auditors at PwC and Convensia in addition we interviewed the chief lawyer at the Swedish financial supervisory authority to answer our purpose.Conclusions: The conclusion of our study is that the expectation gap exists between the auditors and the stakeholders. Another conclusion is that the incidents in HQ Bank have influenced the expectation gap in a negative direction, to reduce the expectation gap we suggest that adjustments of the regulations must be done and that the auditors themselves must inform their stakeholders what auditors can and may do..
Idealister eller idioter? : En studie av mediers framstÀllning av Johan Persson och Martin Schibbye under och efter fÀngslandet i Etiopien
The idea to this bachelor thesis was born after carefully following the coverage of Johan Persson and Martin Schibbye in Swedish media during their imprisonment in Ethiopia from June 2011 to September 2012. Based on our interest we designed two questions to answer throughout the thesis. These are:(1) How are Johan Persson and Martin Schibbye portrayed as journalists in the discussion about them that has taken place in Swedish media?(2) How is the journalistic profession described in the discussion about Johan Persson and Martin Schibbye in Swedish media? To answer these questions we decided to analyse texts that can be defined as the genre of opinion journalism, which all came from Swedish printed media. We have chosen 16 texts to analyse which show the variety of ways to write about Persson and Schibbye in the chosen genre during the chosen period of time. Opinion journalism is what newspapers use to attract readers, as they want to supplement the news coverage with comments and analysis from ?experts?. Persson and Schibbye were imprisoned in Ethiopia in June of 2011, and weren?t released until 15 months later, in September of 2012. To analyse our material we have amongst others used theories regarding social constructionism, representation, discourse, the journalistic identity and the journalistic ideals that exist in Swedish society.

As a school welfare officer you are often alone of having your perspective and must struggle to preserve that perspective. At the same time, there are very little defined what role a social worker should have in a school. This makes it nessesary to form and develop your role of profession independently. According to the Swedish school law, the schools are not required to employ a welfare officer. This makes the school welfare officer inferior to the other branches of occupation in school.
Patienten och sjukhusbiblioteket. En diskursanalys av uppfattningar om sjukhusbibliotek och deras betydelser för patienten i tre svenska bibliotekstidskrifter
The aim of this Masters thesis is to study opinions about the Swedish hospital libraries and their activities for the patients, in a selection of Swedish library journal articles. The theoretical starting point is grounded in Laclau and Mouffes discourse theory. The empirical material consists of 43 articles from three library journals; Biblioteksbladet, BlÀnkaren and DIK-forum, published between 1990 and 2004. These are analysed through a reading scheme in four levels. In the empirical material two themes appear; the culture theme and the patient information theme.
FattigvÄrden i Eskilstuna 1883-1913 : en undersökning av fattigpenningen 1883-1913
In this essay I will analyze how the poor relief was used in Eskilstuna during the years of 1883 to 1913. In the records over who took allowance from the authorities it will also be mention the year of birth, which block the person lived in, sometimes if that person had any children, and if the person was a women it was often written down what profession the (often dead) husband have had when he was alive, or as an alternative what the fathers profession had been and finally its notified how much the person had every month in allowance.I want to see how the poor relief changed over time. I will do four close checkups, i choose the years 1883, 1893, 1903 and 1913. I will read in the records and compare how many it was that needed the poor relief for that year and further on I will mark out where these people was living in Eskilstuna city. For that propose I will use a map from 1890 and mark out every block in town that received the allowance.

SammanfattningStudiens syfte Àr att försöka förstÄ uppfattningarna om det professionella pedagogiska arbetet fritidspedagogerna har, utifrÄn berÀttelserna pedagogerna uttalar. Hur rektorerna ser pÄ sitt ansvar och ledarskap i sin roll inom fritidshemsverksamheten. Samt fÄ ta del av hur de upplever att samspelet mellan rektor och fritidspedagog fungerar, utifrÄn de berÀttelser de ger. Vilket följande frÄgestÀllningar blir: vad Àr rektorns ansvar kring sin ledarroll i fritidshemsverksamheten? Hur ser de intervjuade rektorerna pÄ sin roll gentemot fritids-hemmen? Hur ser de intervjuade fritidspedagogerna och rektorerna pÄ profession och fritids-pedagogens yrkesstatus? Biblioteksassistent: En yrkesroll i förÀndring
Little attention has been paid in the literature to libraryassistants in Swedish public libraries. In this bachelor thesis,the professional role, work duties, career prospects and statusof library assistants are examined at two public libraries.Because of a scarcity of published information on thedevelopment of this profession in Swedish public libraries,retired library assistants, as well as currently employedlibrary assistants, librarians and a library head wereinterviewed.Since the ?80s, work duties of library assistants havechanged, with a reduction in some of the more manualaspects of library work, the development of new duties and,overall, an increasing similarity in the duties performed bylibrary assistants and librarians.Additionally, the public perception of library assistants as acategory distinct from librarians was investigated bydistributing questionnaires to library patrons. Contrary toexpectations prompted by statements in the literature, asubstantial portion of visitors was found to be aware of thetwo separate categories.Library assistants at Swedish libraries have no careerprospects, unless they undertake studies in their own freetime and at their own cost, and obtain a librarian degree. Adifference between the situation of library assistants inSweden and corresponding professional categories in a fewother countries is that, at present and for several years, noformal education for library assistants has been available inSweden.
KÀnslomÀssiga utmaningar i socialt arbete ? vad betyder strategier och yrkeserfarenhet?
The aim of this study was to gain a greater understanding of what social workers perceive to be mentally demanding and emotionally challenging work, and which strategies they use to handle it. I chose to interview six social workers, three of them had long experience of social work, and three of them had worked for less than a year. The justification for this choice wasthat I wanted to interview people with different experience of social work over time, to be able to see possible differences in what was perceived as mentally demanding and emotionally challenging work, and how it was handled. The social workers were interviewed with a semi structured interview manual.The results showed that the organization of the social service is not fitted to the work that social workers execute. This means that what is perceived as mentally demanding and emotionally challenging work largely depends on this.
Distriktssköterskor i primÀrvÄrden och deras upplevelser av sin yrkesroll och vad som ingÄr i uppdraget : En intervjustudie med tio distriktssköterskor
Syftet med studien var att beskriva distriktssköterskors upplevelse av sin yrkesroll och vad som ingÄr i uppdraget. Studien hade en beskrivande design och tio distriktssköterskor frÄn tre olika hÀlsocentraler i Mellansverige deltog i studien. Data samlades in via strukturerade intervjuer och analyserades utifrÄn kvalitativ innehÄllsanalys. Resultatet som framkom under intervjuerna redovisas utifrÄn tre kategorier och ett tema: Att utvecklas i yrkesrollen och i teamarbetet trots avsaknaden av tydliga styrdokument om uppdraget. Kategorierna som framkom var: Yrkesroll, teamarbete och distriktssköterskans uppdrag. Distriktssköterskorna upplevde sin yrkesroll som ett brett, fritt och ett varierande yrke med mÄnga möjligheter att utvecklas i.
Den professionella kommunikatören : En undersökning av svenska kommunikations-ansvarigas syn pÄ sitt arbete jÀmfört med de formuleringar som anges i Stockholm Accords
The purpose of this study is to investigate the Swedish Public Relations and Communication profession from the Stockholm Accords point of view. The Stockholm Accords are an attempt to reflect Public Relations and Communication Management practice as it stands today and to provide a global common ground for the practitioners.The method used for this study is a quantitative research method conducted by a web survey answered by more than 400 Swedish communication managers. The questions posed were examining these managers view of their profession compared to the Stockholm Accords.The research shows that the Swedish way of implementing communication in the organization broadly corresponds to the Stockholm Accords when it comes to internal and external communication. However, there are some areas where Swedish communication practice diverges from Stockholm Accords. The issues which link governance, management and sustainability to communication have a much wider distribution of responses.
