This Bachelor?s thesis is about crime-fiction in Swedish public libraries and aims at investigating the attitude of librarians employed within the public library sector with regards to crime-fiction writing. Therefore, our aim is to examine how public sector librarians assess the quality of crime fiction writing compared to other forms of fiction. And research has shown that librarians haven't always looked upon crime-fiction favorably. The established view of crime-fiction was widely seen by the majority of public sector librarians as a lower form of literature and regarded it as a form of mass culture.

Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka hur implementering av förskolans reviderade läroplan går till samt analysera likheter och skillnader i tolkningen av förskolans kvalitet utifrån ledningsansvarigas, politikers och pedagogikvetarnas perspektiv samt granska på vilket sätt respondenternas utsagor avspeglar deras position i skolsystemets hierarki. För att kunna besvara våra frågeställningar valde vi använda oss av kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer. Vår empiri grundar sig på införskaffade intervjusvar ifrån nio offentliga personer med olika roller och positioner inom skolsystemet. Resultatet av vår undersökning visar att implementering av förskolans reviderade läroplan är ett exempel på ett top-down perspektiv. Utifrån insamlat empirin konstaterar vi att respondenternas uppfattning om vad som är förskolans kvalitet skiljer sig beroende på deras roll och position inom skolväsendet. Dessutom kom vi fram till att två diskursiva mönster framträdde i ledningsansvarigas, politikers och pedagogikvetarnas uttalanden som vi i studien benämnde för organisatoriskt- och pedagogiskt perspektiv..

Antalet konkurrensutsättningar av fastighetsdrift har ökat väsentligt under 2000-talet. Parallellt med detta har även entreprenörsmarknaden utvecklats och den består idag av ett fåtal stora aktörer. Brister i utförandet gällande undermålig leverans har de senaste åren konstaterats men problemen är ej utredda eller lösta. Syftet med studien har därför varit att kartlägga olika driftupphandlingar och dess problem för att skapa förutsättningar för en gemensam utveckling inom fastighetsbranschen avseende beställar- och entreprenörssidan. Resultaten visar på att bristande lönsamhet existerar i många entreprenader vilket bland annat beror på en osund konkurrens mellan entreprenörerna och krav på sänkta kostnader från beställarna.

The aim of our study is to examine experience of the quality of life for elderly people with assisted living from their own, and caretakers, perspectives. We also aim to examine how elderly people in assisted living, and caretakers, experiences that they could affect the elderly people´s quality of life. The study is based on a qualitative method and the data is collected by interviews with four recipient of care and three care takers. The result shows that there are many factors that have an importance when it comes to quality of life for the recipient of care. It has shown in the study that the recipient of care and the caretakers put emphasize in the same factors. These factors are health, the affect of assisted living, happiness, relationships and self-determination. This thesis is carried out at Portsystem 2000 AB who manufactures and markets industrial doors and docking systems. The background to this thesis is that the company?s management considers that their follow-up process of cost accounts is not fully functioning.The aim with this report is to investigate and describe the present procedure of the follow-up process concerning the time of operations and come up with suggestions for improvements. This thesis is performed within the range of the following areas: Information systems, quality, processes and cost calculation. The main method we used were semi structured interviews with a fairly opened framework.

To get insight in the relationship between the customers and the cellular providers, as well as to show the importance of relationship marketing, this study has used qualitative interviews to find what develops strong customer loyalty.The results showed that increased customer loyalty is achieved when an emotional bond is created.

The purpose of this study is to propose and formulate quantitative indicators to help measure an aspect of the Environmental Objectives in Swedish legislation: ?A Good Built Environment, Interim Target 2.? The governmental bill 2004/05:150 suggests changes to Interim Target 2: By 2010 built environments of cultural heritage value will be identified and placed under long-term sustainable management. Following the revised formulation regarding sustainable management, indicators should be formulated to measure the fulfilment of sustainable management of built environments of cultural heritage value. An important part of management takes place at the municipal level of planning, where detailed development plans include regulations to protect built environments of substantial cultural heritage value. As a result, this study is focusing upon the regulatory function of the Swedish Planning and Building Act in respect to the built environments of cultural heritage value.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the existence and prevalence of earnings management in Swedish companies. Theoretical frameworks often suggest that there are strong incentives to practice earnings management. The research area of earnings management has, to date, mainly focused on detecting earnings management. However, to our knowledge, no such studies have been conducted on Swedish companies. This thesis provides evidence of the existence and prevalence of earnings management in Swedish companies.
