This thesis is a study of how Norse religion and early Christianization is presented in three Swedish museum contexts. Empirical studies of the exhibitions relating to religion have been conducted at The Historical Museum in Stockholm, The Museum of Gotland and Östergötlands Museum and interviews with the museum staff compliment the empirical data. The concept of religion has been problematized to facilitate the analysis. The result of the study is that there are tendencies to make a hierarchical order between the different religions and that Christianity is an organized religion while the Norse religion is semi-organized..

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att belysa kulturens betydelse för upplevelsen avsmärta. Metod: En litteraturgranskning genomfördes och artiklarna klassificerades ochkvalitetsbedömdes samt kategoriserades innan de slutligen sammanställdes. Resultat:Sjuksköterskor världen över var överens om att utbildning och kunskap kring andrakulturer är bristfällig i yrkesgruppen och att patienternas upplevelse i sin smärthanteringinte stämde överens med sjuksköterskornas uppfattning.

This essay looks to examine the view on religious and non-religious people thoughts on the possible relationship between feminism and religion. Christianity has for a long time played a significant role in the Swedish school system, which can be seen in the syllabus of the course religion in 2011 where Christianity got a special status and the Christian alignments were explicit named. The aim of this essay was to see whether, and if so how, Christianity and its three alignments ? Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Protestantism ? had developed a greater impact in religion textbooks for grades 7?9 adapted to Lgr 11 compared to Lpo 94 and partly to see if there had been any changes and to what extent. The main question concerned whether Christianity had a greater impact in religion textbooks adapted to Lgr 11 than Lpo 94 and how Christianity could be seen as culture-religion. The sub-questions concerned whether there was any differences in what Christianity is and to what extent Christianity were represented in religion textbooks, but also if any difference to what range the three alignments where represented. The study consisted of six religion textbooks for grades 7?9, where three were adapted to Lpo 94 and three to Lgr 11.

The aim of this essay is to study how the Sami are presented in four textbooks about religion and history that are used in the schools of the majority culture of Sweden today and one book of ideas asto how a textbook could look like from a Sami's perspective. Its aim is not only to study how the Sami are presented but also to discuss how students who read these books could interpret what it means to be a Sami and what their culture is about. It is also meant to discuss how the Sami identitycould be formed. In order to be able to discuss this the essay uses three different kinds of theories about identity and culture. The analysis showed that there is little information about Sami culture, identity, religion and historypresented in the four textbooks used in schools of the majority culture and that these books seem to want students to think that the Sami are troublemakers but are and should be assimilated into the majority culture..

With this thesis I have examined the views of religion among six comparative religion teacherstudents, with the perspecitve of their life stories. I have also examined what stance they want to take due to their personal beliefs in their forthcoming teaching. To achive this I have used in-depth interviews among the six soon examined teacher students, and within the interviews I have had a particularly focus on turning points of the students? life stories. Later on I have used their turning points in an analysis with the hypothesis of ?Rites des Passage? and ?Structure and Anti-Structure?.In my survey I have found a significant relationship between the students? life stories - inparticularly their backgrounds and tourning points - and their views of religion.

I denna studie uppmärksammas sju stycken professionella vuxna som arbetar med ensamkommande ungdomar vid två olika HVB-hem. Syftet är att belysa hur personalen kan resonera kring och konstruera ungdomarnas kön, religion, etnicitet, kultur och utanförskap i sina dagliga arbeten. Med hjälp av observationer formulerades en semistrukturerad intervjuguide varefter intervjuer med personal utfördes. Det insamlade intervjumaterialet analyserades utifrån ett intersektionellt perspektiv samt med hjälp av teorierna stigma, etnicitet, kultur och genus. Resultatet av undersökningen visar på hur dessa vuxnas ansvar går bortom deras arbetsroll samt hur de får fylla i skorna för ett helt släktträd och inte bara vara auktoritetsfigurer.

Swedish students in the upper secondary school will recieve informaition regarding religion from multiple sources. If we look past the students surroundings like the family, friends or multimedia school is still the primary arena for religous education. Discussions about religion will take place in other lessons than just the subject religion. History is in my opinion the subject closest related to religion and the two makes up for a lot of the values work in swedish schools. Textbooks is still one of the most important tools for education and that makes them important as objects to study.

The following essay aims to determine what textbooks and teaching media educators in the county of Västerbotten use when teaching the relation between religion and science. Based on educational science theory and through analyzes of factual texts, the teaching materials was examined to determine how much focus they put on the thematic of religion and science.
