Aim and Hypotheses The aim of the study was to investigate how episodic hypoxia affects resting blood pressure and the acute blood pressure response in healthy older adults. The following hypotheses were formulated for analysis in the study: Blood pressure increases acutely in healthy older adults during exposure to 150 minutes of hypoxia with SpO? 80%. Resting blood pressure decreases in healthy older adults after 15 repeated exposures of 150 minutes of hypoxia with SpO? 80% over a period of three to four weeks.

SAMMANFATTNINGSedan Skola för bildning (1992) och Läroplan för de frivilliga skolformerna (Lpf 94) står värdegrunden i centrum för skolans och lärares uppdrag. I utformandet av värdegrundsarbetet har bland annat fokus riktats mot nynazism och främlingsfientliga tendenser i samhället. Dessa har sedan kopplats till antisemitism och Förintelsen genom statsminister Göran Persson och Forum för Levande historia. Därför är det relevant att undersöka hur värdegrundens koppling till Förintelsen gestaltas i undervisningen.I uppsatsen fokuseras konstruktionen av Förintelsen i en lokal gymnasiekurs: Förintelsen ? ett folkmord att förklara och förstå, 100 poäng.

During the years of development in the 60s and 70s the need for new housing in Sweden arose. Sweden was going to be the most modern country in the world. This period has later been called ?the time of the big programmes?. One of the parts in this building of a welfare society was a large policy of building politics with few counterparts in history.

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva och analysera diskurser kring lärande i grundsärskolan. Materialet är åtta examensarbeten från två högskolor/universitet i Sverige från speciallärarutbildningen med inriktning utvecklingsstörning, 2014. Teori: Utgångspunkten inom diskursanalysen är att verkligheten inte kan nås utanför diskurserna och därför är det just diskursen som analyseras. Genom att upptäcka hur verkligheten skapas i texterna kan man få syn på vilka förutsättningar som möjliggör uttalanden om lärandet. Att använda diskursanalysen som metod samtidigt som jag accepterar språkets roll som skapare av representationer av verkligheten, är studiens teoretiska utgångspunkt.

I vårt moderna samhälle är sättet vi organiserar intima relationer på föremål för offentlig diskussion och statt i förändring. Detta skriver Anthony Giddens om i boken Intimitetens omvandling (1992). På senare tid har en relationsform som kallas för relationsanarki (RA) vuxit fram. Mitt syfte är efter en kritisk läsning av Giddens undersöka relationen mellan hans teori och RA som praktik och erfarenhet. Som kontrast eller nyansering av Giddens tas också Zygmunt Bauman upp.

Denna rapport behandlar en del av min VFU-period som jag haft på HÖ Allbygg AB. Där var jag arbetsledare ute på Storheden, där använde vi oss av en prefabricerad cirkulationsplats. Previous studies have shown that core training gives better balance and stability in the core and also improved techniques, body awareness and control. Aim: To evaluate the core endurance strength, the balance and the studied individuals self estimated body awareness and control after six weeks of training according the pre- choreographed program Fokus. Methods: A total of 14 people volunteered to participate in the study, six of which completed the study.

During the period 1952-2008, real prices of wood before taxes and charges declined. However, the actual net income has not changed by the same percentage as the price list, because taxation, driving costs and the ability to make deductions has changed. This report considers the inflation by using the Swedish consumer price index. Net income refers to the remaining income when relevant costs, taxes and fees have been paid.The purpose of this study was to examine how the private forest owner's real net income has evolved over the period 1952-2008 for three categories of forest owners. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka individers attityder till och uppfattningar av deras lands välfärdspolitik; i USA, Tyskland och Sverige. Vidare undersöktes om och hur respektive individ tror att deras tillgång till välfärdstjänster skulle ha sett annorlunda ut i ett annat välfärdspolitiskt system. Upplevelsen av tillgången till och kvaliteten på välfärdstjänstområdena ?sjukvård?; ?inkomsttrygghet ? arbetslöshets- och sjukförsäkring?; ?utbildning? samt ?ålderdom ? pensionsförsäkring och vård? undersöktes, med fokus på utbildning. Samt hur individerna själva ansåg att det borde vara.

After the last is age there was a long period when there was no shortage of forest for peoples needs. People living in Sweden could use the forest resources at their will. Around 4000 years BC the inhabitants of southern Sweden started to use the agricultural system and people become more stationary. The farms were located together in groups and together they formed a social association, the village. Successively the population grew and in some areas the forest started to become a finite resource.

Should new buildings blend in or contrast from the older buildings around? Could contrasts even emphasize different characters? This report is a discussion on that theme. I´ve studied different architects wiev on the question and studied different of examples of where new buildings contrast to the context in a successful way. In part two I´ve done a proposal on a new housing settlement next to Hammarbyhöjden in Stockholm. The new buildings contrast to the existing and the aim is to emphasize the characters in Hammarbyhöjden as well as in the new structure.

The probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri DSM17938 was evaluated as a starter culture in cheese production, with the intention to produce a new interesting product within the functional food market. Growth and acidification rate in milk subjected to different heat treatments, as well as supplementation with growth promoting factors or support cultures was measured during controlled fermentations. The results showed that the weak proteolytic activity of L. reuteri could be compensated for by supplementation with 1% casamino acids or 5% MRS broth. Furthermore, a decrease in growth and acidification rate could be seen when using yoghurt culture or Lactobacillus delbrueckii as adjunct cultures.

The investigation will study those different subjects over a timeperiod of 20 years, 1984 ? 2004.Material/method: The study is done with a combined qualitative and quantitative text analysis using five numbers of the magazine Vecko-Revyn from each of the years 1984, 1994 and 2004.Main results: The magazine Vecko-Revyn has a very open text to it?s readers.

This study investigates the role of yeast in green crop and its impact on the aerobic stability of silage. Fresh crop was collected from 15 farms in southern and middle parts of Sweden during the summer 2014; samples from the primary harvest was collected from eight farms and samples from the first regrowth harvest was collected from seven farms. The grass was ensiled in 1.7 l glass silos. After three months of ensiling, silos were opened and silages were stored aerobically for 10 days. Samples from both harvests were ensiled in completely airtight silos, but samples from the second harvest were also ensiled in slightly ventilated silos. Chemical analyses and yeast counts were performed for fresh crop and silage.
