AimThe aim of this study has been to examine how health enhancement teachers in Montana, USA, view the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.In what way does the health enhancement teacher think the importance of physical activity from a lifelong perspective could be presented?What resources are available for teachers to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective?MethodThe issue has been answered through qualitative interviews consisting of six health enhancement teachers, four women and two men, in Montana, USA. One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years).  ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. In addition to the budget, all the teachers had 12 hours of professional development every year where they could attend conferences or their own choice of professional development.ConclusionWith the help in forms of professional development offered by the school, conferences, meeting with other teachers, and their own choice of development, the teachers instruction techniques could increase which could help the teachers to find the pupils? interest for different kinds of physical activities.KeywordsPhysical education and health, physical activity, SOC, sense of coherence..

How does the criticism of landscape architecture in Swedish professional journals look today? Does it exist at all? What is criticism and what is its purpose? These questions have been the starting point for this degree project. I have found a lot of different answers among journals, books and websites, as well as in interviews with five persons that all have a relation to the landscape architecture criticism in different ways. These answers may look a bit disjointed at first, but are at a closer examination pointing in the same direction ? that the criticism of landscape architecture projects hardly exists today.

Den populära bokserien om den föräldralöse pojken och trollkarlen Harry Potter har väckt stor uppmärksamhet i medier och inom diverse forskningsfält. De religiösa budskap som serien sänder ut till läsare har bland annat blivit kritiserade av diverse kristna samfund i Sverige och det är denna kritik som ligger till grund för denna studie. Det övergripande syftet i denna studie är att, utifrån de motstridiga uppfattningarna angående Harry Potter bokserien, undersöka vilka symboliska uttryck för ondska och godhet som skildras i samband med de två karaktärerna Harry Potter och Lord Voldemort. Den textanalys som sedan utförs bygger på olika symbolteorier inom. Vidare är olika symboliska uttryck för begreppen ondska och godhet centrala för denna studies analys.

Sedan Bokföringsnämnden (BFN) valt att utveckla K-projekten har en viss kritik riktatsmot deras normgivning. Kritikerna menar att K2 bryter mot grundlagen,Regeringsformen, genom att BFN inte har föreskriftsmakt och endast får ge ut allmännaråd. Vidare bryter och inskränker K2, enligt viss kritik, mot Årsredovisninglagen. Det ärden konstitutionella frågan vår studie främst har fokuserat på samt att ta ställning tillkritiken som BFN har fått möta.Studien har varit av kvalitativ karaktär där vi genom intervjuer och relevant teori harskapat oss en djupare förståelse för problemen som finns med BFN:s normgivning.I den teoretiska referensramen har vi redogjort för de lagar som visar vilka BFN:sbefogenheter är samt två artiklar som tar upp en del av den kritik som riktats motmyndigheten. Vi har även gjort en sammanställning av ett utlåtande som professor PerThorell skrivit på uppdrag av BFN.

Syfte: Syftet är att i tre fallföretag beskriva och analysera användningen av Balanced Scorecard, med tonvikt på vilken roll det har i relationen mellan företagens strategi och operationella styrning. Metod: Kvalitativ metod ligger till grund för uppsatsen. Uppsatsen baseras på en fallstudie av tre företag vilka använder sig av Balanced Scorecard och budget på skilda sätt. Primärdata har samlats in genom öppna riktade intervjuer med anställda i de tre företagen. Slutsatser: Vi har genom vårt val av metod genomfört undersökningen och fått svar på våra frågor.

This essay analyses the existence of a literary tendency in Sweden the last decade, which shares many similarities with magical realism. The study includes the work of three writers: Majgull Axelsson with Aprilhäxan; John Ajvide Lindquist with Hanteringen av odöda and Låt den rätte komma in; and finally a short story of Alejandro Leiva Wegner, ?Elixir?.Focus for this work is to expose how these writers use supernatural events/people as a strategy to create a new identity and to effect social criticism, strategies that are common to magical realism.The aim of this work is therefore to clarify generalities about magical realism as a genre and give it a place in Swedish literature and in a changing Swedish society. Furthermore this essay defines a unique term for the genre as adapted to the Swedish reader and with some characteristics of its own: ?övernaturlig realism? (supernatural realism)..

Miljöledningssystem möjliggör för företag att på ett standardiserat sätt arbeta med miljöfrågor. Det har med tiden vuxit fram allt mer kritik mot miljöledningssystem så som t.ex. ISO 14001. Denna kritik menar att miljöledningssystem inte fungerar som en integrerad del av företag utan används som ett sätt att legitimera företags miljöarbete.Syfte:Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och utvärdera samverkan mellan miljöarbetet och affärsmodellen i tre utvalda företag, samt försöka se vad som kan främja denna samverkan.

Med hänvisning till diskrimineringslagens skärpning beslutade SF bio, i syfte att förbättra tillgänglighet för alla, att alla svenska filmer ska kunna ses med svenska undertexter för hörselskadade. Detta möttes med kritik från flera håll. Undersökningen har två syften. Det första syftet är att utreda om det finns fog för kritik som gör gällande att undertexter ?stör? och förstör filmupplevelsen.

Bakgrund och problem: Den pågående finansiella krisen och lågkonjunkturen drabbar idag de flesta länder och branscher. En bransch som drabbas när företag och privatpersoner blir alltmer kostnadsmedvetna är hotellbranschen. Företag inom hotellbranschen har i stort sett sedan lågkonjunkturen i början av 1990-talet haft en positiv utveckling. När sämre tider stundar kan det antas att ekonomistyrningen förändras i de olika företagen. Författarna intresserar sig hur hotellen tacklar de problem som den rådande finansiella krisen för med sig och vilka anpassningar och förändringar som måste göras av budget och budgetprocessen.

Syfte:Syftet med föreliggande arbete är att undersöka hur äldre personer och personal på ett vårdboende i Uppsala uppfattar kvalitéten på den mat som levereras färdig till boendet och sedan serveras. Metod: Studien har en kvalitativ design och genomfördes genom intervjuer på fem äldre och fem personal på ett vårdboende. Intervjuerna analyserades genom en kvalitativ analysmetod. Resultat: I studien framkom att de äldre och personalen ofta hade samma uppfattning om vad bra mat var. De äldre hade dock kritik angående matens temperatur, doft, smaksättning och variation i större utsträckning än personalen.

Ever since it was first introduced in an article in the Journal of Finance 1952, Harry Markowitz? mean - variance model for portfolio selection has become one of the best known models in finance. The model was one of the first in the world to deal with portfolio optimization mathematically and have directly or indirectly inspired the rest of the world to develop new portfolio optimization methods. Although the model is one of the greatest contributions to modern portfolio theory, critics claim that it may have practical difficulties. Partly because the Markowitz model is based on various assumptions which do not necessarily coincide with the reality.

The purpose with our study is to investigate in which way a public field of action has succeeded to make the economic management more effective and also find out which factors/activities that have contributed to get the result of the budget in balance. We also want to find out in which degree the balanced scorecard (BSC) has contributed to the positive result of the budget. Method: We had started out from the qualitative method theory which is based on the hermeneutic theory, because we will interpret and understand. With this starting point we have chosen to use a case study with semi-standardised interviews supplemented with information from different documents, and to get the theoretic connection we have studied literature in the subject field. The analyse and even the theoretic connection have then started from, for this study, a special analyse model.
