Abstract Jessica Jönsson (2011). Mångkulturell eller monokulturell undervisning: en studie om pedagogers förhållningssätt i etniskt homogena svenska skolor. Malmö högskolan: Lärarutbildningen. Jag har genomfört en undersökning i en kommun där skolorna inte präglas av det mångkulturella samhället. De undersökta skolorna ligger i en grannkommun till Malmö. I denna kommun är antalet barn med icke svensk härkomst väldig låg vilket gör att skolorna i denna kommun betraktas som etnisk homogena. Syftet med denna studie har varit att öka kunskaper om vilket förhållningssätt pedagogerna har och om de förbereder eleverna för det mötet med den mångkulturella samhälle de lever i.

Bilismen har länge varit en stor del av samhällsplaneringen, vilket betytt att vi människor skapat ett bilberoende som resulterat till vi inte har planerat våra städer på ett optimalt sätt. Konsekvenser som trängsel, miljöföroreningar, urban sprawl och segragation har blivit ett faktum eftersom stadens markutnyttjande inte varit effektivt. Trots dessa välkända problem fortsätter vi att planera för bilismen där det exempelvis finns regleringar som leder oss rakt in i den. En sådan reglering är parkeringsnormen som bestämmer antalet parkeringsplatser vid ny- eller ombyggnation.I denna uppsats problematiseras parkeringsnormen samt undersöks intressanta diskurser kring parkeringsreglering i kommunala parkeringsplaner för Stockholms stad och Huddinge kommun med en diskursanalys.Resultatet för uppsatsen visar att Stockholms stad och Huddinge kommun använder sig av värdeladdade ord som visar ett ställningstagande för vissa parkeringsåtgärder. Därmed är det tydligt att de båda kommunerna använder beteendepåverkande åtgärder för att exempelvis minska bilanvändandet. .

I dagens samhälle ökar användningen av e-communities i en rasande fart. Aktiviteter som kanutföras på dessa sidor blir allt fler och i princip alla kan få ut någonting av användningen.Ungdomar är en stor målgrupp där användandet av e-communities är mycket vanligt. Men itakt med den ökande användningen påverkas livet i den fysiska miljön, då du till en stor delav din lediga tid befinner dig framför datorn istället för ute. Hur påverkar detta ungdomarna,som i alla år varit ute redan från barnsben för att umgås med sina vänner till att i dagenssamhälle enkelt kunna utföra denna kommunikation via datorn? Det pågår en mängddiskussioner kring detta ganska nya och färska ämne.Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka och presentera ungdomars syn på användandet av ecommunities.Vi vill försöka se användandet ur ungdomarnas perspektiv då detta är en stormålgrupp av användare.

 The purpose of this thesis is to study the education of newly arrived 16-20 year old immigrants and how their education in the towns of Södertälje and Malmö matches up with national inquiry into the subject.The research questions in this thesis are as follow: What type of documents shape the work with newly arrived students? What's the preferred development surrounding the education of the newly arrived students nationally? What does the latest study, which is a proposed reform of the Gymnasium system, say about the education of newly arrived students?How does the local work connect with proposals of national investigations? Do the cities take responsibility for evaluating the education of newly arrived students? From arriving to graduating, what does the road to graduation look like for a newly arrived student? What is the curriculum of a newly arrived student?The methods used here are studies of investigations made primarily by Skolverket (The National Agency for Education) and Myndigheten för skolutveckling (The Agency for Development of Education), studies of local documents such as annual reports of quality and promotional material for programs at local Gymnasiums (High Schools), and interviews with local persons in charge of shaping the work with newly arrived immigrants.This thesis has not used theory as a foundation for structuring the analysis, but postmodern theory and the use of three dimensional power inspired the thesis.The conclusions made focuses on the future of the education for these teenagers at large and makes connections between the national investigations and the local work with immigration education.In order for these teenagers to be allowed to join the Swedish national Gymnasium, they need to learn Swedish, and integration seems to be an important part of learning Swedish quickly. .

Vi har gjort denna studie för att belysa hur lärare utifrån rättningen av elevtexter undervisar i svenska för att föra eleven framåt i sin skriftspråksutveckling. Vår bakgrund bygger till stor del på tidigare forskning som belyser olika aspekter kring skrivutveckling och undervisning i skriftspråk. Studien genomfördes vid två grundskolor i Skellefteå kommun samt två grundskolor inom Gällivare kommun.
