Trade was assigned as a Community responsibility at the founding of the European Community in 1957. It was then recognized that Europe would achieve a greater international influence if it were to negotiate trade deals with one voice. Since then, the basic rule has been that the European Commission negotiates agreements on behalf of the EC, and presents the agreements negotiated for approval in the European Council. Today, the 25-member European Union is the largest trading power in the world, and most member states have decades of experience of coordinating their national trade interests into a common position. However, partly as a result of the complex nature of the trade decision-making processes it is sometimes problematic to identify who or what really influences EU trade policy.

Uppsatsen har ett undersökande syfte där tillämpningen av ?Lagen om offentlig upphandling av varor, tjänster och byggentreprenader? (LOU, 2007:1091) och ?Lagen om offentlig upphandling inom området vatten, energi, transporter och posttjänster? (LUF 2007:1092) undersöks med utgångspunkt i en decentraliserad kommunal organisation. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om regelverkets utformning och tillämpning påverkar kommunerna i en riktning mot ett ökat tjänstemannainflytande under upphandlingsprocessen. Maktförhållandet mellan tjänstemännen och lokalpolitikerna under upphandlingsprocessen är det förhållande som särskilt undersöks. Detta för att kunna förstå hur den moderna kommunala organisationen har kommit att utvecklas, i en tid då allt fler kommunala förvaltningsområden upphandlas.

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva och analysera hur motiv, utformning och användning av BSC ser ut i kommuner, samt analysera eventuella samband mellan dessa områden. Metod: För att uppfylla studiens syfte har författarna valt att göra en kvalitativ studie, där vi undersöker 14 kommuner. Vi avser att skapa en bättre insikt i hur motiv, utformning och användning av en styrmodell överrensstämmer med varandra vilket innebär att studien är av deskriptiv karaktär, med explorativa inslag. Intervjufrågorna utformades med hjälp av den uppbyggda teorin. Empirin sammanställdes sedan och analyserades med hjälp av kopplingar från valda teoridelar.

I have in my thesis examined what a leisure pedagogue does in school. I have asked the questions how it is with interaction between leisure pedagogues and teachers according to policy documents and according to the interviews I did with three professionals. In the literature part I began by describing the historical background to the after-school and leisure pedagogue profession until the new teacher education in 2011th.  My theory section, in previous research and theory, focuses on interaction between leisure pedagogue and teacher. In the research part I describe the interviews I did with three leisure pedagogue on three separate occasions.

Eleven years after broking the Kyoto-protocol, the European Union still stands in the front line, combating climate change. How come the EU, with 27 diversified states, is able to integrate its members to what is widely considered the most progressive climate policy in the world? This thesis takes a closer look at the negotiations that have shaped EU climate policy. Using negotiation-models to categorize different aspects of EU climatenegotiations, several key-findings are presented. The thesis concludes that while EU entered the Kyoto-protocol with little to lose because of external factors like previous energy-reforms in key member countries, it had plenty to win in global influence and the satisfaction of an overwhelmingly Kyoto-positive public.

The law which makes the purchase, or the attempt to purchase, temporary sexual services a criminal offence has been implemented in Sweden for more than six years. It appears as if very few, possibly no, sex-selling women have used the law to report men who have bought their services during these years. How can this be understood? With this thesis I suggest a new way of thinking on agency. A way which questions the traditional view on action whereby agency equals to act in certain, predefined ways.

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats var att belysa hur tre utvalda kommuner, Helsingborg, Vellinge och Klippan, har tolkat styrmodellen Balanced Scorecard (BSC) i kommunal verksamhet. Uppsatsen baseras i huvudsak på intervjuer med tjänstemän på ledande nivå inom de tre kommunerna. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten har varit Kaplan & Nortons Balanced Scorecard, där teorin jämförts med hur ledningen inom kommunerna tolkat modellen från den privata sektorn. BSC är ett flerdimensionellt styrverktyg, bestående av fyra perspektiv; finansiellt, kund-, process- och lärandeperspektivet. Modellen är ursprungligen gjord för att användas inom vinstdrivande företag, och måste således omarbetas för att användas inom kommuner.

New Zealand is currently the third largest global producer of kiwifruit and thus plays an important role in the international market. Exports of kiwifruit are also of significant horticultural value for New Zealand and in 2007 the kiwifruit industry accounted for export values of NZ$790 million. The global kiwifruit market has experienced substantial changes in recent years and is likely to change significantly in the near future due to developments in production sources, adjustments to trade policy settings and shifts in consumer preferences. The New Zealand kiwifruit industry needs to consider what the impacts of these changes might be so that future strategies can be constructed effectively. Little quantitative modelling has been done in New Zealand to consider the impacts of changes to the global kiwifruit industry. The major contribution of this research was the development and calibration of a kiwifruit industry-specific partial equilibrium trade model. The model was then used to examine the impacts on New Zealand producers of these trade-related changes in the global kiwifruit market.

Denna uppsats behandlar förskoleklasselevers fonologiska medvetenhet och skrivförmåga. Syftet med studien är att undersöka huruvida den fonologiska medvetenheten skiljer sig åt mellan barn som går i montessoriförskoleklass och barn som går i kommunal förskoleklass utan någon så specifik pedagogisk inriktning. Syftet är även att studera sambandet mellan den fonologiska medvetenheten och barnens skrivförmåga och om de pedagogiska metoderna inverkar på dessa färdigheter. Sammanlagt medverkade 51 barn i studien. Från en montessoriförskoleklass deltog 21 barn.

By studying the forms of work and methods teachers choose for their teaching on the Business and Administration Programme and by examining the experiences gained by these teachers, I hope to gain a clearer insight into how the demands of national policy/governing documents are met in the actual teaching of the courses within the programme. In my qualitative study,teachers in a team from a Business and Administrative Programme have been my informants. The team combines multiple forms of work and methods in line with the intentions of the national policy/governing documents. Students usually have an unbroken school day with block teaching where they work with case studies and interdisciplinary  work. Morals and ethics are integrated in class.

?CSR and political consumption ? a study of Nike?s and Puma?s CSR-reports?The purpose of this dissertation is to examine if political consumption has influenced multinational corporations to improve their Corporate Social Responsibility reports and policies more, than a company who has not been a target for political consumption.This dissertation is a content analysis of Nike?s and Puma?s first (Nike 2001, Puma 2001) and latest (Nike 2007/09, Puma 2007/08) CSR- reports. Archie Carroll?s model of Corporate Social Responsibility is used as theoretical framework in this study. The model is used to focus on four areas within CSR; economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic.

The main purpose of our paper is to reconstruct the intervention logic of the Swedish government's proposal to introduce a tax deduction for homework help. Furthermore, we also intend to outline the perceived impacts of this tax deduction in the municipality of Linköping. Our material consists of the government bill regarding the tax deduction, the parliamentary debate which preceded it as well as interviews with key people in the municipality of Linköping. In our study and in the light of Matthew Clarke?s theory of neo-liberalism within education policy, we also ask ourselves if the intervention logic behind the tax deduction and its perceived effects can be seen as a manifestation of neo-liberalism.

Uppsatsen syfte är att undersöka vilka konsekvenser tillämpningen av Lag (2008:962) om valfrihetssystem kan få den kommunala hemtjänstens verksamhet och dess organisationskultur. I ett valfrihetssystem konkurrerar ett antal godkända leverantörer med eller utan kommunen om att utföra hemtjänstinsatserna. Då kostnaden för hemtjänsten är detsamma oavsett utförare är det endast kvaliteten de har att konkurrera med.Uppsatsen bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer med enhetschefer för kommunal hemtjänst i kranskommuner till Göteborg. Ytterligare avgränsning av kommunerna har skett med hjälp av summan på dess stimulansbidrag.Konsekvenserna av valfrihetssystemet förutspås uppkomma först efter ett antal år, då fler kommer välja privata utförare. Inom vissa kommuner finns det mer oro, inom andra mindre.
