Syftet var att undersöka om sättet att förmedla och hantera ekonomisk information och annan verksamhetsnära information i form av rapporter och/eller andra sätt att förmedla informationen på, påverkar förståelse och motivation hos individer inom sjukvårdsverksamhet, så att det avspeglas positivt på effektiviteten, både vad avser ekonomi och vårdproduktion. En fallstudie gjordes i två landsting för att förstå och förklara informationsförmedlingens betydelse för effektiviteten i sjukvårdsproducerande verksamhet. Personliga intervjuer av det semistandardiserade slaget jämte sekundärdata i form av interna rapporter och andra dokument användes vid datainsamlingen. Analysarbetet gjordes med hjälp av kategorisering av det insamlade materialet jämte ett antal datamatriser. Resultatet av studien visar att det förekommer samband mellan informationsförmedling, motivation, kognition och effektiviteten hos de studerade klinikerna.

This study aims to draw attention to the discourse of Swedish language teachers and their literary repertoires from a didactic perspective. This leeds to the following inquiries: ?how to define and delineate a broader concept of text;? ?how realized is this concept in Swedish upper secondary schools;? and ?how does the use of the broader concept of text effect the ability to learn.? The empirical data comprise group interviews with six teachers who work at two different schools, in different towns, located in southern Sweden. The data are transcribed and carefully analysed by tools consistent with methodological approaches. The theoretical framework consists of discursive psychology.

The aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between text and picture in two works by Sven Nordqvist, with the focus on how the action is propelled. The two works are compared in order to bring out any differences in the relationship and what significance this can have for the interpretation. The study also considers the theory of conceptual worlds to examine how the books can promote pupils? literary understanding. The method of analysis is based on Rhedin?s (2001) theoretical concepts and elements of Nikolajeva?s (2000) terminology.

Research reports as PISA and PIRLS show that reading comprehension among Swedish students have deteriorated in recent years and that girls have better reading comprehension than boys. The basis for this study is Maj-Gun Johansson's reading comprehension test done during the four years between the years 2005-2008 in the seventh grade in a municipality in Sweden. The main purpose of this study is to examine reading literacy in terms of the influence of content and form of texts viewed from a gender perspective. The study is divided into two parts. The first part is a survey on local reading comprehension compared with results from a similar national text.

Uppsatsen behandlar användandet av videotext som text i egen rätt med syfte att undersöka huruvida Utbildningsradions skolprogram kan vara till nytta för eleverna. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten är att ett sociokulturellt perspektiv på lärande är lämpligt eftersom avkodning av text är en aktiv process där lyssnaren interagerar med texten för att skapa mening och därmed lärande.Språkforskning och forskning kring användandet av audiovisuell text visar att engelsktextade och nivåanpassade program effektiviserar ordinlärningen hos eleverna. Tidigare forskning tyder på att det finns en koppling mellan top-down- respektive bottom-up-strategier i växelverkan vid läsning, och videotextens möjligheter att presentera en tydligare helhet med fler möjligheter att associera ords betydelser till ljud, bild, känsla och liknande. Undersökningen jämför om ordinlärningen utifrån en videotext ger mer eller mindre behållning än ordinlärning utifrån en tryckt text. Först gjordes ett förtest av de tillhörande ordlistorna.

This work examines and analyzes in what way the expanded conception of text implicitly and explicitly is being used in different Swedish governing school documents.

I allt högre utsträckning väljer konsumenter att undvika TV-reklam som företag exponerar dem för, alternativet har således blivit att integrera produkter och varumärken i TV-serier för att göra den omöjligt för konsumenter att zappa bort. Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka produktplacering i TV-serier och vilka faktorer i marknadskommunikationsprocessen, individers perception och kognition som företag bör ta i beaktning när de använder sig av produktplacering för att exponera sitt varumärke.Genom att be ett antal respondenter se ett avsnitt av en svensk TV-serie och sedan besvara frågor relaterade till produktplacering och avsnittets innehåll, urskiljs de faktorer som ligger till grund för erinran av varumärken.Resultatet visar på att bruset i marknadskommunikationsprocessen inte påverkar respondenterna i den grad teorin beskriver och den enda faktorn där samband uppvisades rörde individens sinnesstämning. Dessutom fann vi att respondenterna uppmärksammade varumärken i högre utsträckning om dessa var integrerade i handlingen, verbalt exponerades samt om det exponeras både verbalt och visuellt. Det visades även att respondenternas intressen var korrelerade med vilka varumärken som uppfattades samt att varumärken som exponerades vid upprepade tillfällen lättare kunde urskiljas. Företag bör därför ta dessa undermedvetna faktorer i beaktning när de använder sig av produktplacering som marknadsföringsmedel..

The aim is to examine whether the reader of a text can define the anonymous author?s sex, judging only by elements such as choice of words or sentence structure. Are there any differences between the sexes as they appear in written language, and is the common man able to make this distinction? The essay is based on several studies on people?s ideas on masculine and feminine language, as well as studies on actual differences.

Forskning har visat att när individer formar ett första intryck så kan intrycket påverkas negativt av faktorer som rökning, tatueringar eller övervikt. Tidigare studier har antingen låtit försökspersoner skatta egenskaper för en person presenterad på bild eller beskriven i text. Syfte med föreliggande undersökning var att kombinera tidigare studier och jämföra om bedömningar skiljer sig åt beroende på om personen som bedöms presenteras på bild eller genom text. Tatueringar användes som ett negativt attribut. 72 psykologistuderande, Stockholms Universitet, randomiserade till fyra grupper, fick skatta tio personlighetsegenskaper för en person via fyra olika enkäter.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to investigate how a picture book for children is transformed into an easy-to-read version for children who have just started reading. I examine two versions of Emil of Lönneberga. One of the books is the orginal picture book of Emil in Lönneberga and was written by Astrid Lindgren (1963), while the other is an easy-toreadversion of the book, as adapted by the author Helena Renvall (1977). I have conducted a comparative study as a text and picture analysis of the material, with the focus on the adaptation of the original story. The adaptation in this case is a revision intended to make the story easier to read and more accessible to today?s children.

We read different kind of texts every day. We can for example choose to read a book or to watch a film. While we read we can receive and interpret texts. That?s means, for example, that we can have different envisionments about the drama and the film based on it. Based on Langer?s reception theory about ?envisionments?, I?ve wanted to examine and clarify the differences and similarities of envisionments between two texts.

Det svenska förarprovet har vuxit fram ur praktisk yrkeserfarenhet. Oavsett vilken trafikinspektör som bedömer ett specifikt körprov ska bedömningen göras lika. Kognitiva egenskaper bedöms i körprovet genom att observera handlingar och beteenden. Syftet med denna uppsats var att ur ett teoretiskt perspektiv undersöka hur trafikinspektörer bedömer kognition, för att undersöka vilka likheter och skillnader som finns. Tre analyser gjordes utifrån tolv intervjuer med trafikinspektörer vid två av Vägverkets förarprovskontor.Trafikinspektörerna ombads beskriva vad som är viktigt hos en bilförare.

The Picture book - text and image in interaction. A study of Tove Jansson's picturebook: The Book About Moomin, Mymble and Little MyThis study examines Tove Jansson's picture book The Book About Moomin, Mymbleand Little My, to show relationships between text and image in the narration of thestory. This is done through an analysis based on Ulla Rhedins dissertation The picturebook - towards a theory where the conclusion is that the picture book as book mediumcan be divided in three different picture concepts. The various concepts are; the epicpicture book, the expanding text as well as the genuine picture book. This study hasperformed a text and image analysis showing that the image colors, the differentspreads, landscape scenes and characters' placement, et cetera play a role in placingthe picture book in its concept.Tove Jansson used more than text and image to work out the story of theMoomintroll, Mymble and Little My, there are holes in the picture book that have animportant role, which the analysis will show.
