Vegetarisk kost - om sjuksköterskors kunskaper. En empirisk studie.

The purpose of our study was to establish whether the knowledge about vegetarian diet was enough among nurses in order to practise professional nursing. We made an empirical study based on a questionnaire. Twenty-one registered nurses answered the questionnaire that consisted of mostly open questions. The result showed that almost everyone experienced that they gave dietcounselling and many nurses mentioned that dietcounselling was important. The majority of the nurses thought that they had enough knowledge to be able in order to deliver a fundamental dietcounselling but nobody considered that they knew much about vegetarian diet..

Utvecklingssamtal - utifrån elevens perspektiv

My aim with this diploma work is to find out if the students consider development deliberations as a good forum in order to promote their knowledge development or not. I have also examined if the development deliberation is experienced as giving for the pupil or not, what I have been studying from the pupil's perspectives.MethodI have implemented three qualitative interviews with three students from class nine in a compulsory education that lies in Botkyrka municipality. There, I have also an implemented questionnaire survey with two half classes from same class.Materials To my study I have linked literature where research aims himself in on how teachers have worked with development deliberations in the school.Results Students that I have interviewed does consider development deliberations as a knowledgep romoting forum, but most as a forum for clear about study results. The students in the survey consider development deliberations as giving only when the result turns out to bee good.Importance for teachers As each development deliberation is unique, you can not come to a certain implication that all deliberations are experienced in the same way as the result shows. But that can last stakeholder for the teacher is to see how one development deliberation can to be experienced of several students.

Professionsöverskridande Samverkan : En studie om gränsöverskridande arbete kring barnfattigdom i en Svensk kommun

Child poverty in Sweden is a widespread phenomenon and occurs in diverse spheres in society; at home, in school and in leisure activities. Therefore more professions than just traditional social workers meet this phenomenon in varied areas which creates different comprehensions and abilities to handle the issue among various professions.This study aims to investigate the collaboration between different professions in relation to child poverty in a municipality in Sweden. Represented professions are social workers, teachers, welfare officer, recreation instructor and leaders, special assistant and municipality coordinator. In total eleven persons were interviewed.The results illustrate a good will among the professions to collaborate to improve negative consequences of child poverty. Traditional boundaries between professions are limited since every profession is needed in this collaboration and have the opportunity to use their professional knowledge in a certain field.

The purpose of this study has been to examine what approach and experience pedagogues at pre-schools, with a limited amount of nationalities, have regarding cultural promoting work in pre-schools. The concept ?cultural promoting? mainly regards the children's cultural backgrounds. The first question formulation focussed on the what the concepts ?cultural promoting? and ?cultural diversity? meant to the pedagogues.

Our society has become increasingly digitized, and all around us information flows constantly. Knowledge about valuing different sources of information, and not least the information itself, are becoming increasingly important. Media and information have come to play a big role in our society, and knowledge of media and information literacy becomes important to learn in school. High school students are at the beginning of their adult lives as educated citizens.In this study, we measured high school students experience of media and information literacy, during their three years in high school. Students answered a questionnaire, with questions based upon theoretical concepts in media and information literacy.

By interpreting our surroundingenvironments we become inspired, and the patterns in turn can become part of our own narratives. This project was fuelled by my fascination and desire to explore patterns. My method of exploration was based on prior knowledge of patterns and interior design.The question became how can I apply my knowledge of interior design to pattern design and how could I best translate the brief intoa language of colour and shapes? The aim was to develop my knowledge of pattern design as well as to use this opportunity to combine my design methods with those of a professional designer.

The aim of this thesis is to fill a knowledge gap regarding how online players use libraries, their attitude towards libraries and what they want out of future libraries. We see it as a problem that the library world of today does not have much knowledge about an audience that is so prevalent in society.The theory used in the thesis is Henrik Jochumsen, Casper Rasmussen Hvenegaard & Dorte Skot-Hansens model that divides libraries into four functions. The four functions are meetings, knowledge, inspiration and experiences. In the analysis we added a suggested fifth function, a digital space, giving the digital interaction and information needs of today´s society. The method was focus groups on online forums for gamers.

The primary aim of the current study was to gain increased knowledge about drivers' risk experiences. The study was based on questionnaires answered by 30 private drivers and 30 bus drivers, with 50% men and 50% woman in each group. The study revealed no differences, either between men and women drivers with regard to their experience of risk, or between the groups of private and bus drivers. Gambling is common within the private drivers group. Mistakes are common in all groups.

En studie över lärare och assistenter inom särskolan, skillnader i deras upplevelse av psykosocial arbetsmiljö

Syftet med studien är att se om det finns någon skillnad mellan hur lärare och assistenter, uppfattar sin psykosociala arbetsmiljö och arbetstillfredsställelse på tre olika särskolor. Deltagarna som ingick i studien bestod av 17 lärare och 17 assistenter inom särskolorna. De arbetar med elever som inte kan nå grundskolans mål på grund av utvecklingsstörning, autism eller begåvningsmässigt funktionshinder på grund av en hjärnskada. Urvalspersonerna är kvinnor och män i olika åldrar med skiftande anställningstid. Mätinstrumentet som användes i studien var enkäter som grundar sig på teorier om psykosociala arbetsmiljön och arbetstillfredsställelse.

Informationskompetens i pedagogiska praktiker: Gymnasielärares syn på elevernas informationssökning vid projektarbete.

The main purpose of this thesis is to examine upper secondary school teachers? views of their students? information seeking practices and their perspectives on consider the concept of information literary. The theoretical framework consists of a sociocultural perspective and the empirical material has been collected through interviews with six upper secondary school teachers. The material is analyzed phenomenographically and revealed three practices. Social science teachers consider the library and librarian to be valuable resources for students? information seeking, particularly in view of information overload in society today.

Att ta Första Steget : En utvärdering av en introduktionskurs för föräldrar till barn med autismspektrumstörning

Denna uppsats är en utvärdering av en befintlig introduktionsutbildning för föräldrar till barn med autismspektrumstörning som givits i tre varianter ? en längre, en kortare respektive en intensiv ? i regi av Autismcenter för små barn i Stockholms län. Utvärderingen inkluderar föräldrar till 70 barn och bygger på tidigare insamlade frågeformulär, samt kvalitativa intervjuer med föräldrarna till tio av barnen. Frågeformulären har analyserats statistiskt och intervjuerna tematiskt. Resultaten visar att föräldrarna huvudsakligen var nöjda med utbildningen och kände sig väl omhändertagna.

Speciallärarprogrammet, Skolutveckling och ledarskap, Lärande och samhälle, Malmö högskola Problemområdet för föreliggande examensarbete är skolpersonals upplevelse av arbetsrelaterad stress i undervisningen av elever med autismspektrum och utvecklingsstörning. Studiens syfte är att bidra med kunskap om arbetsrelaterad stress i undervisningen av elever med autismspektrum och utvecklingsstörning genom att beskriva, tolka och förstå skolpersonals upplevelser samt organisationen av det specialpedagogiska arbetet vid några grundsär- och gymnasiesärskolor. De preciserade frågeställningarna är följande: Vilka upplevelser av stress uttrycks av skolpersonal?, Hur påverkar relationella aspekter skolpersonalens upplevelse av stress i undervisningen?, Vilket stöd finns och vilket stöd efterfrågar skolpersonalen? samt hur upplever skolpersonalen att undervisningen och relationen till eleverna påverkas av arbetsrelaterad stress? Bakgrunden till studien ligger i bland annat studier av Greene et al (2002) och Kokkinos och Davazoglou (2009).

Rabies, dogs and education : A cross-sectional study on the knowledge, attitude and practice in school children in Tamil Nadu

Although known and feared for thousands of years, rabies remains a real and present threat to thousands of people, especially in low- and middle income countries. In India, rabies is an endemic disease, causing human deaths every year. The primary mode of transmission is through the bite of an infected dog. Fighting the disease in the dog population through vaccinations remains the most efficient way to eradicate the disease. The knowledge of rabies in India is unsatisfactory, as a lot of people lack awareness about the severity of the disease and the importance of washing the bitten area and seeking medical attention for post exposure prophylaxis when bitten by a dog.
