The aim of this study was to examine creativity, measured with four different tests, and self-image in 18-19 year old women (N = 30), and their earlier presence of imaginary companions. The result showed that there were many correlations between the different creativity measurements. Self-image correlated significant with fluency of ideas in one test. "Psychological health" along with "skills, talent and abilities" were the two most important self-image aspects for creativity. We found negative relationships between imaginary companions and creativity, but a positive relationship with self-image.

För att kunna hålla jämna steg med utvecklingen och förändringar i samhället har flera av Sveriges kommuner infört ett rehabiliterande arbetssätt att jobba efter inom äldreomsorgen. I denna kvantitativa studie, ställs frågan huruvida det skiljer sig i självupplevd arbetstillfredsställelse mellan personal som jobbar enligt ett rehabiliterande arbetssätt och de som inte gör det. För att mäta variabeln arbetstillfredsställelse användes ett frågeformulär, QPSNordic-34+. I enkätundersökningen deltog 180 anställda inom äldreomsorgen i två svenska kommuner och 120 besvarade enkäten, vilket motsvarar en svarsfrekvens på 66,7%. Resultatet visade att det finns en signifikant skillnad i hur man upplever arbetstillfredsställelse hos anställda som jobbar enligt ett rehabiliterande arbetssätt jämfört med de som inte gör det..

Uppsatsen behandlar teorin om kognitiv dissonans och dess effekter på attityder. Teorin om kognitiv dissonans beskriver bland annat att man strävar efter att handla konsekvent med sin attityd. Handlar man inkonsekvent kan man uppleva dissonans.Syftet med undersökningen var att mäta attitydförändring utifrån kognitiv dissonansteorin. Vi undersökte detta med experimentmetod och enkäter där vi med hjälp av 77 personer mätte attityder till olika organisationer före och efter en påverkan från vår sida.Våra analyser visade inga signifikanta effekter av attitydförändring i experimentet. Vår främsta förklaring till detta är den kognitiva dissonansen vi försökte skapa blev för liten och att andra motivationsfaktorer påverkade resultatet för mycket..

Klimatet är under förändring och en global temperaturökning med 1,8-4,0?C förutspås ske från år 1990 till 2099. Detta kan medföra att livsmedelsproducerande djur i Sverige kommer att utsättas för värmebelastning under perioder vilket kan ha negativa effekter på djurens produktion och välfärd. Då vetskapen om hur svenska lantrasgetter påverkas av värme är begränsad var syftet med den här studien dels att se vilka effekter värme har fysiologiskt, beteendemässigt och produktionsmässigt på djuren, samt att undersöka om getterna efter en tid i förhöjd omgivningstemperatur kunde acklimatisera sig till denna. Sju lakterande svenska lantrasgetter med varsin killing inhystes i en omgivningstemperatur mellan 28,8 och 35,1?C under dagtid i 15 dagar.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om inställningen till delat ledarskap är mer positivt bland de personer som haft denna ledarform än bland personer som inte upplevt detta. Syftet är dessutom att se på hur ett specifikt delat ledarskap fungerar. Genom intervjuer med två elitfotbollstränare som utövat delat ledarskap samt en enkätundersökning med elitfotbollsspelare, har data samlats in.Resultaten visade ingen signifikant skillnad i inställningen till delat ledarskap hos fotbollspelarna. Studerade effekten av social ångest och självfokusering på attributionsstil och impressionsbildning. En 2 (uppmätt hög/låg social ångest) x 2 (manipulerad hög/låg självfokusering) design användes. Deltagarna var 68 studenter, 56 kvinnor och 12 män. För attributionsstil användes separata skalor för bra och dåliga händelser. För impressionsbildning användes en positiv och en negativ skala.

In this paper respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) was examined in relation to two kinds of threatening pictures, biological and nonbiological. Based on the results of prior research the hypothesis was claimed to note a difference between the two types of pictures regarding RSA and gender differences regarding cardiac activity due to the emotional stimulus. ECG and respiration were collected from 36 adults, 17 women and 19 men. There were no significant relationship between the different types of threatening pictorial stimuli, and no significant effects of gender were found. The results support some of the prior research on the topic but are in conflict with other.

The purpose of this essay was to examine the packaging design´s communications related to the colloquially brand's symbolic capital and how they became meaningful through experience and perceptions that led to the identification processes in the consumer society. There were eight interviews of snuff users who became my main collections materials. My theoretical framework was discourse psychology´s emphasis on language and Bourdieu´s concept provided important tools in the analysis of the material.I could highlight that packaging design and the brand had influenced the informants and given them symbolic beliefs and what it meant to sniff a certain brand. Color, brand awareness and price were crucial in choosing where the informants attributed themselves the cans symbolic values to their identity. It could be inferred high and low status perceptions based on stereotypes in the design itself..

Syftet med studien var att undersöka upplevelser kring att ha blivit utsatt för mobbning i skolan. Litteratur och tidigare forskning visade bl.a. på samband mellan mobbning och låg självkänsla, även på könsskillnader i utövandet av mobbning, samt att följderna av mobbning kan bli förödande. Studien tillämpade halvstrukturerade/fokuserade intervjuer och fenomenologisk analys användes för att tolka data. De känslor och upplevelser som beskrevs i intervjuerna verkar överensstämma med vad som tidigare framkommit i forskning om mobbning.

The goal of this qualitative essay is to approach the knowledge of people who commit crimes. From a development psychology point of view, questions relating to childhood ang growth are some of the important subjects we choose to discuss. Our purpose is also to reveal the linkage between criminal behavior and different theories of the above mentioned perspective. To bridge the gap between the general and the individual, our survey was based on profound interviews with four inmates in prison. This offer an opportunity to capture the individual´s inner thoughts, feelings and experience about the criminal action.

Collective collapse occurs when a majority of players in a team suddenly perform below expected level in a match of great, often decisive, importance in spite of a normal or good start of the match or when a team underperforms right from the start of the match. The aim of this study is to investigate collective collapse, focusing on emotional contagion. The study is a qualitative study based on semistructured interviews with nine handball players in an elite team. The results show six factors presented as themes. These are Preparations, The coach and leadership, Emotional contagion, Communication, Role Acceptance and Incongurence.

Benign Childhood Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes - BCECTS is a common neurological syndrome but the possible cognitive effects are still relatively unknown. In the study 12 children with the diagnose BCECTS, 9 boys and 3 girls between the ages of 5,5 and 13,5 years, were examined. An extensive battery of neuropsychological tests were administered. The results indicates normal cognitive functioning as compared to the normal population, with one exception; an aspect of attention. But the results also indicate several negatively effected performances when compared to the cognitive g-factor of each child.
