Algoritm för automatiserad generering av metadata
Sveriges Radio stores their data in large archives which makes it hard to retrieve specific information. The sheer size of the archives makes retrieving information about a specific event difficult and causes a big problem. To solve this problem a more consistent use of metadata is needed. This resulted in an investigation about metadata and keyword genera-tion.The appointed task was to automatically generate keywords from transcribed radio shows. This included an investigation of which systems and algorithms that can be used to generate keywords, based on previous works.

AbstractThe signification of the eyesight for children?s development and learning- how do pedagogues support and stimulate children with defective vision in their development and learning in pre-school?These issues are based on my purpose of the field survey investigations, where I have interviewed three pedagogues and also performed an observation.My main conclusion and results describe that the vision is the high-powered engine in children?s development and learning. It also tells us that those around the children are very important for optimum development and learning, especially when it comes to supporting and stimulating children with defective vision in their necessities. Our other senses are a compensation to make it easier for children with defective visions in their lives. But all our senses are equally important for children with defective vision as they are for seeing children in their development and learning with their whole body in pre-school.Keywords:Eyesight, children with defective vision, development and learning in pre-school, pedagogues, pedagogical support and stimulation.

It is important that the language in textbooks for foreign language learners reflects the language that the learners would encounter in real life. For this reason, the presence of the thousand most common nouns in two Swedish textbooks in Spanish for upper secondary school is observed in this study. Furthermore, this study aims to examine how these nouns occur in order to determine if their pattern of occurence favours the learning and consolidation of words. The main materials that have been used are A Frequency Dictionary of Spanish by Davies (2006) and the word search program available in the digital versions of the textbooks. The results show that the presence of the thousand most common Spanish nouns does reflect the frequency information presented in the frequency dictionary but not all thousand nouns are included.

Genus på lärarutbildningen : En komparativ analys mellan åren 2010-2013
It could be argued that theories about gender are something that should be a part of every upper secondary school teachers agenda (knowledge base), because the Swedish curriculum specifically says that schools must encourage and work for equal rights between men and women.The students are supposed tobe encouraged to develop their interest, without judgment, about what femininity and masculinity is.This essay is aiming to find out how gender is used in the teacher program at Södertörns Högskola. The main focus of the essay is to see the possible differences between the curriculum of 2010 and 2013. Using quantitative and qualitative content analysis this essay is aiming to examine how gender words are used in the syllabus, study manuals and literature lists for Educational science A (2010) and Educational science I (2013). In what way are gendered terms, like boy, girl heterosexuality and man, part of the text material? Who is represented in the material? And are there any differences between 2010 and 2013?The results show that there is a difference.
Vad ska du bli när du blir stor? : Vilka faktorer påverkar gymnasievalet?
Huvudsyftet med denna studie är att kartlägga vilka faktorer som påverkar i gymnasievalet. Frågeställningar som belyses är vilka faktorer som påverkar eleverna och vilka personer som är betydelsefulla. I studien diskuteras också skillnader mellan olika grupper som exempelvis kön. Metoden som valdes var enkätundersökning med elever i årskurs 9 som stod inför sitt gymnasieval. Resultatet visar att intresse och att programmet ska förbereda för högre studier är de faktorer som påverkar mest.
Gymnasiereformen 2007 : En studie om förändringarna inom biologiundervisningen och hur en öppen process bemöts av aktörer i skolans vardag
Next year, Swedish upper secondary school will be the arena for a new comprehensive reform according to an extensive government bill. The reform will probably have major impact on every-day educational practices. The aim of this paper is to describe the consequences forbiology teaching when the reform is implemented, and to analyse in what way the biology teachers, and other participants, take part in digitised discussion forums during the implementation of the reform.The research design consists of a quantitative approach and two different methods are used, i.e. descriptive content analysis and quantitative content analysis. The content and meaning of the government bill is analysed and the statements from the participants at the discussion forums are equally important in order to fulfil the aim of this inquiry.The results show the reform will have a profound impact on the subject biology, e.g.

This study aims to analyse textbooks used in the course Religious Education 1 in Swedish upper secondary schools. The textbooks were analysed by using qualitative content analysis. By using queer theory and the theory about ?homo religiosus?, the study examined which norms concerning sex, gender, sexuality and relationships the textbooks convey. The study shows that the textbooks convey norms about sex and gender by portraying the men?s perspective when educating about the different religions. The women perspective is being discussed in a specific part of the chapters and is therefore being portrayed as different.
Matematikundervisning i internationella miljöer : En studie av arbetet med att överbrygga skillnader i matematikundervisningen
This study investigates the difficulties that may arise for students as a consequence of differences that exist in mathematics education between different educational systems. The questions asked are when and why difficulties as a consequence of differences in writing or types of student problems may arise and in which way teachers and students attend to these difficulties. The focus is thus on the written parts of mathematics education and the questions are asked within the frame of general upper secondary education.In order to answer these questions, a sociocultural perspective based mainly on Sfard?s (2006) participationist theories together with Vygotsky?s (1999) general theories on development and learning is used. An important analytic tool is the discourse concept which in this context means a type of communication that brings some people together while excluding others from the communication.
Gymnasieelevers kunskap om kost och hälsa : Upper secondary school student?s knowledge about diet and a healthy lifestyle
AbstraktSyftet med studien har varit att undersöka vad eleverna har lärt sig om kost och hälsa på högstadiet inom ämnena idrott och hälsa samt hem och konsumentkunskap. Undersökningen gjordes med hjälp av enkäter som omfattade totalt 55 elever. Under min utbildning till lärare inom idrott och hälsa samt hem och konsumentkunskap har jag sett att övervikt och ohälsa blir ett allt större problem bland våra ungdomar. Som i sin tur kan leda till dålig självkänsla, utanförskap och en dålig hälsa hos eleverna. Resultatet visade att uppfattningen om den egna kunskapen och den verkliga kunskapen om kost och hälsa var bra hos majoriteten av eleverna.

Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka om maskulinitet och pojkar som grupp problematiseras i gymnasieskolornas jämställdhetsarbete och i så fall hur. Dels undersöks om detta sker i det konkreta arbetet och dels vad det finns för tankar kring pojkar och maskulinitet hos dem som arbetar med jämställdhetsfrågor på gymnasieskolan.
Arbetet ger en översikt av tidigare forskning om skolors jämställdhetsarbete samt litteratur som behandlar de skillnader som finns mellan pojkar och flickor i skolan.
Under konstruktion? Om likabehandlingsarbete och heteronormativitet i Malmös högstadieskolor
Denna uppsats undersöker hur Malmös högstadieskolor arbetar mot homofobi och heteronormativitet. Uppsatsen utgår från ett queerteoretiskt perspektiv och materialet består av två enkäter bland lärare och skolledare på sammanlagt tretton skolor. Resultaten tyder bl a på att kränkningar pga sexuell läggning och kön är vanliga på skolorna samt att lärarna nästan helt saknar utbildning och kompetensutveckling på området. Vidare saknas det sammanhållna strategier för likabehandlingsarbetet från skolledarnas sida, vilka i stället överlåter detta arbete på hugade lärare. Detta lämnar fältet öppet för de heteronormaliserande processerna upprätthållande av tystnader, patologisering av homosexualiteter och bevakning av genusgränser.
Vad för historia? : En kvalitativ undersökning om historieämnetsinnehåll ur ett interkulturellt perspektiv
This essay is called What kind of history? and is about how history teachers think when they chose what to teach about and why. In the curriculum there are no guidelines about what substance you have to teach about. This gives the schools and teachers a big freedom. At the same time there is a kind of informal canon which says that it is the European perspective that is the important one.
Grundskolans resurser - för elever med behov av extra stöd
The aim of this essay has been to increase the knowledge of which resources there are in compulsory school, their function and how they are experienced by teachers and students. By individual interviews I have examined teachers experiences of their work with students in need of support in core subjects. I have also examined how students experiences the help that they get and if they want to change anything. In my essay I have concentrated in a few main questions, such as; which resources compulsory school uses, teachers work with students in needs of support in core subjects, the extension of students needs, how students experience the help that they get, how they feel about education in smaller groups and if there are any differences in needs, among students, connected to gender. Literature has earlier shown that there are too few resources in compulsory school and that students in need of support doesn?t get the help that they need.
