This examination project is carried out for Waséns Traffic School in Linköping. The task was to develop a completely new windows application and a webpage that connects to the same MySQL database. The windows application (ATSV) is a program intended to carry out all the administrative tasks that a clerk at a traffic school may need: pupil management, reservations, billing and register functions. The applications was developed in C++ using Visual C++ from Microsoft. The connection to the MySQL database was made possible by using the class package MySQL++.

Core strength is important in order to be able to do all types of daily activities. One way to exercise ones core muscles is according to the pre- choreographed program Fokus. Previous studies have shown that core training gives better balance and stability in the core and also improved techniques, body awareness and control. Aim: To evaluate the core endurance strength, the balance and the studied individuals self estimated body awareness and control after six weeks of training according the pre- choreographed program Fokus. Methods: A total of 14 people volunteered to participate in the study, six of which completed the study.

Aim: To investigate if physical exercise in combination with coaching will reduce pain and improve knee function in patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis in the knee compared to physical exercise alone.Method: The study consisted of 42 patients who were randomized to either an intervention group or a control group. Both groups followed a standardized training program at home, but the intervention group received additional support with regard to the aim of their training, as well as extra coaching during the training period of ten weeks. A Visual Analog Scale (VAS) was used to evaluate the patients? pain. A 10 metre walking test, the Index of Muscle Function (IMF) and the Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) were also used to evaluate knee function.

Nimo Verken AB is the leading producer in the Scandinavia of drying cabinets. The construction has, with small changes, been the same since the 70s with a thermostat and a timer as controlling system. There was a wish to develop a modern cabinet which showed remaining time on a display and with energy saving functions.In this report we go through how it is possible to implement a digital controlling system, where remaining time is shown on a display and where it is possible to choose a preset ?program?.The report first presents the fundamental theory for a PIC, where we describe the different registers, how interrupts are handled, the internal clock function and how data is sent to control the different parts of the construction.Next the report presents and describes the new hardware that is needed, such as the encoder, the temperature sensor and the display.After the theory we describe how the program in the PIC may be drafted. Last in the report we have the result of the tests of the temperature variations and the accuracy of the time..

The purpose of this master thesis was to study the water system for mechanically cleaned water at SkÀrblacka mill, in order to find and evaluate possibilities of using energy more efficiently. The thesis also includes an evaluation of the software tool ?Pumpanalys?SkÀrblacka mill produces pulp and paper. The large amount of water required is cleaned mechanically through filters and called mechanically cleaned water (MR0). The MR0 water is pumped out to the factory by four crude water pumps.

This report is about how HDR (HighDynamicRange) can be created and used in combination with Tone mapping. This work has been carried out together with Kapsch TrafficCom AB in Jönköping.The objective of this project is to:Evaluate and investigate the effects given to pictures by HDR and tone mapping.Evaluate if the technology may lead to improvements in Kapsch?s systems.To construct a program which is able to handle some form of tone mapping or HDR-algorithm.These questions will be answered in this report:What kind of effects has HDR and tone mapping-algorithms on pictures?Can the HDR-technology give better data in Kapsch?s systems?The research method used in this report is called action research. This means the authors has investigated the technology by reading different documentations and by testing different algorithms to see what kind of result they give. The report describes some of the tests made to see if the technology is appropriate in Kapsch?s system.There is two smaller reports made by the authors which documenting some of the work.The first report describes the work with different settings for a camera to create pictures with HDR-quality.

Denna studies syfte ?r att unders?ka f?rskoll?rares arbete med genus och k?nsnormer genom b?cker och boksamtal, och eventuella skillnader i det arbetet i ett m?ngkulturellt respektive ett monokulturellt omr?de. Detta var av intresse f?r att se hur v?rdegrunden efterf?ljs och om de olika utmaningar de tv? omr?dena har p?verkar det normkritiska genusarbetet. Fr?gest?llningarna som var studiens utg?ngspunkt syftade till att f?nga in hur genus och k?nsnormer uppm?rksammas i arbete genom barnb?cker och boksamtal, hur arbetet skiljer sig inom olika omr?den och vilka utmaningar samt m?jligheter som kan tr?da fram i arbetet med genus och k?nsnormer inom f?rskolan.

Den h?r studien ber?r speciall?rares upplevelser och hantering av situationer d?r ett utmanande beteende hos en elev resulterat i akut hotfulla situationer d?r speciall?rare blivit skadade eller varit r?dda f?r att skadas fysiskt. Tidigare forskning visar att utmanande beteende ?r relativt vanligt hos barn med intellektuell funktionsneds?ttning. Utmanande beteenden kan ta olika for-mer d?r ett av de vanligaste ?r aggression, s? som att sl? eller sparka mot omgivningen.

The purpose of this study was to examine young offenders? attitudes towards crime, and to the penalty they have been sentenced to as juveniles. More specifically its aim was to examine an intervention program called Galaxen, specifically used  to deal with  juveniles  in VÀxjö. This intervention program consists mainly of conversations with social workers from social services,  aiming  towards  better  self-awareness  and  the  ability  to  understand  the  consequences  of one?s actions.

This thesis has aimed to study steering process and institutionalization in the context of educational policy work. This has been conducted by using empirical material from the political decision-making process that preceded the implementation of a new national program on how principals should be educated and certified. By using an aggregated theoretical point of view containing new institutionalism and traditional Swedish curriculum theory, the process was analyzed from different perspectives. The results depict a process that contained several actors who tried to shape the principal education program differently. From the theoretical perspectives, the decision-making process could be understood as an act of both self-interest as well as trust in their own beliefs and cultural values.

Polisens it-forensiska avdelning har bl.a. i uppgift att sÀkra bevis frÄn datorer som tillhör personer misstÀnkta för brott. Det polisen gör Àr att anvÀnda en mÀngd olika program som producerar loggar med webbhistorik, e-post och meddelanden frÄn en mÀngd program som anvÀnds vid chatt. Det den hÀr rapporten kommer fokusera pÄ Àr framtagningen av en applikation som kan ta in alla dessa typer av loggar och rensa bort onödig information. Den ÄterstÄende informationen struktureras om för att kunna generera en rapport med enhetligt utseende.

Det hÀr arbetet behandlar den situation som idag rÄder, gÀllande problematiken kring fallande intresse för naturvetenskapliga och tekniska utbildningar. Jag belyser hur det ser ut idag och vad forskning pekar pÄ för olika lösningar för att öka intresset inom naturvetenskapliga Àmnen i skolan. Ett exempel pÄ en sÄdan lösning har genomförts pÄ en svensk gymnasieskolas naturvetenskapliga program. DÀr har lÀrarna arbetat mer Àmnesintegrerat, med tydligt fokus pÄ programmÄlen för att stÀrka kÀrnkompetenserna. Det hÀr försöket har jag studerat med stöd av en enkÀt för att mÀta förÀndringar i elevernas attityder samt tagit del av lÀrarnas observationer.

Syftet med denna studie var att utveckla genren vetenskapsradio. Nyfiknare radio om vetenskapliga Àmnen för mÄlgruppen 18-35 Är och som testÀmne, djur. Rolig, lÀttillgÀnglig och lÀrorik radio. Studien föregicks av en förstudie dÀr jag gjorde kvalitativa intervjuer med tvÄ yrkesverksamma personer inom ÀmnesomrÄdet. UtifrÄn det sammanfattade jag ett antal produktionsmetoder och i denna studie har jag producerat radioprogram utifrÄn dessa tillvÀgagÄngssÀtt.
