The purpose of this paper was that through discourse analysis look at how gender and the equality debate is created between two head debaters and commenter's on a forum. We have used Norbert Elias and John L. Scotson´s (1999) theory about Established and Outsiders to see power struggles between groups in the debate. With Jonathan Potters analysis tools in his book Representing Reality (1996) we were able to analyze the debate texts. Using discourse psychology, we were able to see how people use tactical discourse in their texts to represent themselves and the world in different ways.

Syftet med detta arbete är att ta reda på hur man arbetar med flerspråkiga barn i förskolan, och hur man ser på modersmålsundervisning. Syftet är även att ta reda på hur de flerspråkiga barnen med familjer blir bemötta av förskolan och vad läroplanen säger om mångkulturalitet och flerspråkighet. Genom öppna intervjuer får jag reda på hur pedagogerna själva anser att förskolan arbetar med de flerspråkiga barnen, hur de bemöter barnen i förskolan och hur de ser på modersmål. I de deltagande observationerna ser jag om det pedagogerna själva sagt stämmer överens med verkligheten i förskolan. Jag valde att intervjua tre informanter och även att observera tre andra pedagoger i sju olika situationer, det är alltså sex pedagoger som deltagit i studien.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur fakta konstrueras i situationer där det finns en stor risk att tappa ansiktet. Det sociala fenomenet ansikte studeras med hjälp av Erving Goffmans teori om ansiktsarbete och hans dramaturgiska perspektiv. Goffmans teori kombineras med Jonathan Potters diskursanalytiska teori om hur fakta konstrueras. Ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv tillämpas i studien. Den metod som används är Potters diskursanalytiska metod för analys av faktakonstruktion.

This makes it possible to study the readers through texts produced by themselves. The aim of this study of columns of readers' tips on domestic work is to analyze how readers embody a specific femininity centered around the woman as responsible for the home, in the sense of everyday maintenance as well as aesthetic development. The author defines this femininity as "home maker". The theoretical framework for the analysis is the sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu, and Jonathan Potter's and Margaret Wetherell's model of interpretive repertoire is also used where modality is discussed.

Bankkrisen under det tidiga 1990-talet resulterade i en instabilitet i den Svenska ekonomin som gjorde det nödvändigt för regeringen att träda in med kraftiga åtgärder.Bakgrunden till denna kris kan bland annat spåras till den avreglering som genomfördes 1985 då taket på bankernas kreditexpansion togs bort. Detta arbete undersöker hur regleringen har utvecklats efter krisen samt hur effektiv denna utveckling är i förhindrandet av framtida kriser.Den teoretiska utgångspunkten för arbetet är en undersökning som genomfördes strax efter krisens slut av Jonathan R. Macey som i fem principer beskriver hur en framtida reglering bör se ut. Dessutom utgör det nya regelverk som håller på att implementeras vid namn Basel II en del av teorin. Dessa teorier ställs mot resultatet av intervjuer som genomförts med en av de Svenska storbankerna samt Finansinspektionen.
