Kapitalstruktur : Skuldsättningsgrad och avkastning hos svenska finansbolag

In a time when economic crises relieving one another, it is especially interesting to study how companies choose to finance their operations. Since there is a lack of studies that include banks, and their capital structures, with the rest of the finance market, it is uncertain whether the theories of capital structure are applicable. Therefore, this essay aims to study whether there is any correlation between the two variables debt-equity ratio and return on equity (ROE) for Swedish corporations on the finance market.In accordance with the theorems that the professors Modigliani and Miller filed, in 1958 and 1961, which describes a clear link between debts, increase corporate value through the tax shield and indirectly increased yields. Although these theorems are the foundation of the modern research they focus on perfect markets. Therefore, this paper has also chosen to place great emphasis on theories such as Trade-off and Pecking-order.

En Kommunikations Illustration : Interaktionen mellan deltagare i ledarlösa samarbeten

Purpose: The objective of this study is to illustrate how participants in leaderless based projects communicate with each other. Several studies have focused on technology-supported projects, such as open source projects, with an established project manager and goal. There is a lack, to the best of our knowledge, in studies that deal with the communication pattern in a leaderless computer supported collaborative project.Method: We have chosen to use a quantitative method where we systematically group several messages according to their content. This method was used in a similar study to illustrate the communication between participants involved in an open source project. We have taken the same Kripendorff based method and adapted it to our study by adding more descriptive variables.Theoretical perspectives: Manuel Castell discusses the aspects of a new communication power that is rooted in the individual as part of a larger creative audience.

Kapacitetsbehovssimulering av ytmonteringslinor

Ytmonteringsavsnittet är en av de första länkarna i Flextronics Västerås Operations produktionskedja för kretskort. Det är relativt oflexibelt vad gäller kapacitetsanpassning inom en tidshorisont kortare än tre månader. Ledningen för ytmonteringsavsnittet har på grund av variationer i kundernas efterfrågan och störningar i materialtillförseln svårt att anpassa ytmonteringsavsnittets produktionskapacitet. Syftet med examensarbetet är att skapa en hållbar simuleringsmodell för kapacitetsplanering av verkstadens ytmonteringsavsnitt. Genom att kunna simulera det framtida kapacitetsbehovet ska ledningen förbättra planeringen av ytmonteringsavsnittets resurser.

Marin insatsstyrka - övningar med väpnad strid i fokus?

Uppsatsen syftar till att analysera marinens övningsverksamhet inom ramen för en marin insatsstyrka i enlighet med Försvarsmaktens målbild 2010. Den övergripande frågeställningen är om dagens marina nationella övningar helt eller delvis kan ersättas av internationella övningar. Tre förband som kan tänkas ingå i en marin insatsstyrka, ytstridsförband, minröjningsförband och amfibieförband, analyseras utifrån kraven på förmåga till väpnad strid, i enlighet med förbandens TOEM, dvs Taktisk, Organisatorisk och Ekonomisk Målsättning. Väpnad strid är ett omfattande begrepp och i uppsatsen diskuteras endast stridens tre klassiska grundelement; eld, rörelse och skydd. Uppsatsen består av tre huvuddelar, varav den första delen beskriver förbanden och miljön de skall verka i samt en redogörelse av de krav på förmågor som ställs i TOEM.

När Lean kom till Växjö kommun : Ett meningsskapande recept

Olika förändringsrecept har länge använts inom kommunal verksamhet i syfte att förändra och utveckla. Idag är Lean det recept som har blivit populärt inom kommunal verksamhet i Sverige. Lean i kommunal verksamhet är ett hittills relativt outforskat fenomen och för att öka kunskapen behövs fler empiriska studier i ämnet. Det saknas även forskning på hur medarbetare skapar mening i förändringsprocesser och därför finns det anledning att studera medarbetarnas upplevelser för att förstå hur de påverkas av ett recept som Lean.Studien har genomförts i syfte att, genom studier av medarbetarnas upplevelser, utveckla förståelsen för hur mening kan skapas kring Lean i kommunal verksamhet. Detta för att ge ett bidrag till den företagsekonomiska diskussionen kring Lean samt öka den empiriska kunskapen kring receptet i kommunal verksamhet.

AbstraktHaving influence over questions that concern us is a part of the society that we live in, where every individual have the right to make her voice heard (Danell, 2006). For many decades, the school has had many different ways to give the students influence. Rönnlund (2013) is giving a historical overview of the history of students influence and enlighten us how the influence has changed over time. The influence from the students is very important and it is the students right to make their voices heard about things that concerns their work environment but also to affect their curriculum. The education in school should be fitted to every individual student (Danell, 2006).   According to Aaron Antonovsky (2007) our wellbeing is based on that we all can take part and deicide about the things we are meant to do.

Thereto examine the parameters that affect the flanges motion during the manufacturing process. The goal was to provide Volvo Aero with foundation to later bring in slimmed forgings.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the Management Control System is affected by a change in the owner structure from family owned to not-family owned. The study also tries to identify explaining factors behind the possible effects to the Management Control System. The study is based on a comprehensive case study on the company Alcro-Beckers which, in year 2001, was acquired from the owner Lindéngruppen fully owned by Ulf G Lindén. The acquirer was the non-family owned company Kemira OY, a Finnish stock listed group. The empirical foundation mainly comes from interviews conducted with people who were/are directly connected to the company, either as employees or as representatives for the owner.

As an extra safety precaution so that thecomponents in the suspension doesn?t fall apart when using the vehicle, an anaerobicthreadlocker is added in these joints. The handling of these threadlockers is not totallyharmless and could lead to allergic reactions, and therefore there are Swedish laws to limit theuse of these. However, new types of anaerobic threadlockers have recently been launched onthe marked that are not considered under this law.

We have found a few points we would like to improve in the company weexamined. We believe that it is the company's reputation and it begins already in thecompany's own recruitment process it is the main finding from our study.Suggestions for future research:Interesting would be to seek employment with thecompany you want to investigate to see how the whole recruitment process goes on toperform deeper analysis, another idea would be to ask the employees that enjoy to work thereagainst those who does not enjoy to work at the company to find the basic building blocks ofcorporate culture to this particular company.

Hägn i skogsbruket :

This survey was made during the autumn of 2002 and the beginning of 2003, on commission from the National Board of Forestry. The purpose with the survey was to gather experience and knowledge in the organisation about fencing and this was made through interviews. The ambition was also to get knowledge from people outside the organisation that have great experience of forestry and fencing. The interviews were based on questions that have been composed by the author with help from the supervisors. The questions were the same to both the personal from the National Board of Forestry and to the foresters. Interviews were also made with private landowners, gamekeepers, game researcher, the County Administrative Board, the National Road Administration, pole and net retailers and contractors. The target group for this work is the National Board of Forestry to be forwarded to persons interested in forestry with the ambition to spread knowledge about how to prevent damage on the forest by browsing animals. The deer populations are big in the south of Sweden and growing populations have increased the damage on plantations of broadleaves of the most species.
