Companies constantly strive for the perfect order which enables them to satisfy and retain their customers. This is a difficult process that can be facilitated by using different picking technologies. In this study, a research of the picking technologies Pick-to-Light and Pick-to-Voice have been made to investigate when each technology is suited.In order to collect relevant information and data to be able to answer the question formulation, a qualitative study with interviews have been made. The purpose of this essay was to investigate Pick-to-Light and Pick-to-Voice to see when each technology is best suited and to see what the differences between the technologies are. With our essay we wanted to help manufacturing companies to make the right decisions when implementing a picking technology.The results showed that those picking technologies give companies a higher picking quality and an increased work efficiency since the order picking is faster to perform, and that picking errors are reduced.

Syftet med vår studie är att kartlägga vilka olika studiemetoder som mest frekvent och framgångsrikt används av distanselever. En jämförelse görs härmed med de studiemetoder som, enligt litteraturen och tidigare forskning, leder fram till lyckosamma resultat inom traditionella studier, klassrumsundervisning.Eftersom distansstudier ökat som studiemetod idag kan det vara till hjälp för de olika utbildningarna som erbjuder studier på distans att känna till hur deras elever väljer att studera och vilka faktorer som påverkar deras resultat.Inom forskning kring inlärning finns det en rad olika inlärnings-stilar som vi har förankrat vår undersökning i och kunnat påvisa vilka faktorer och förutsättningar som kan sägas öka förutsättningarna för att lyckas i sina studier. På samma gång har vi kunnat påvisa vilka utmaningar som kan finnas för en viss kategori elever.Vi har använt oss av främst kvantitativ metod och samlat in data med hjälp av en enkät. Enkätens två huvudsakliga delar har syftat till att samla in data om elevens förutsättningar och studieteknik, samt att mäta elevens självförtroende via en etablerad enkät (?Rosenberg?).

C-parts include fasteners, other small metal-, rubber- or plastic parts such as wires, springs and electronic fasteners.The aim of this thesis was to make a survey of the cost of poor quality and to find key performance indicators (KPI) for cost of poor quality that can be continuously monitored.

Urbanisation has increased the distance between the urban and the rural. Urban agriculture can be a solution to overcome that distance. The characteristic of urban agriculture is the intensive production in intra urban and peri-urban areas. Until 1950s food production in cities was an important part of the urban economy and the urban food supply. Since the 1950s the urban located production of food has almost ceased in Sweden, partly as a result of cheap food imports.

Denna studie behandlade möjligheten för outsiders att nå överavkastning genom att följa insiderpersoners transaktioner. Huvudsyfte var att kartlägga om det existerade överavkastningsmöjligheter för outsiders, genom att ta del av insiderhandelsrapportering på Stockholmsbörsen. Som delsyfte ville vi redogöra för eventuella skillnader i avkastning för olika investeringsmetoder. För att besvara dessa frågor använde vi oss av en kvantitativ studie med en deduktiv ansats, som hade vissa drag av abduktion. Studien är som helhet utförd med ett privatspararperspektiv, och dataurvalet begränsades till aktierna som ingick i OMXS30 i februari 2008, för åren 2001-2007.

AbstractBuilding Information Model/Modeling/Management (BIM) is a tool that allows for efficient working methods. BIM saves time and money while providing the potential for visualization. This method of working is based on a 3D-model, and then a fourth and fifth dimension are connected. 5D modeling means that a spreadsheet creates cost estimates based on the 3D model. This provides opportunities to carry out calculations in the early stages of the projects. Calculations are currently performed manually and do not contribute to the development that the construction industry requires.

User participation in the planning process of renewing the yards of existing residential areas was introduced in Sweden in the 1970s. It arose as a solution to many of the problems which became common in the residential areas built within the Swedish million program. The aim with the million program was to build one million homes within ten years. The same year as the million program was completed, in 1975, government subsidies to improve the residential yards were introduced. One of the conditions to get the subsidies was that the residents had to be involved in the planning process.
