Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) is a way to graphically draw a diagram of a business process. A BPMN diagram consists of several so-called flow objects. These are interconnected in the graph through sequence  flows. BPMN models are merely graphical representations of business process and there is a need to simulate these diagrams for different purposes. The simulation that now is available for BPMN is that the model is evaluated by checking if it is correct.

This thesis considers the problems associated with searches in insufficiently geographically tagged data. The thesis was carried out at Booli Search Technologies AB, a company developing a search engine for the Swedish real estate market.The aim of the thesis is to identify some areas of possible improvements of the company?s existing technical platform, perform a benchmarking among similar services, suggest possible solutions and lastly, build a prototype from one of the suggested solutions.The thesis starts out with defining the problems that the search engine faces: some areas are not possible to perform searches on, the users are not presented with the full search result that they expect, some results are placed incorrectly on the map associated with the search results and results are also not described with enough geographical information. These problems are due to the fact that the data retrieved at the indexing stage in the company?s information retrieval process are insufficient and incomplete.As a result of a benchmarking process and after discussing the results, severalinteresting solutions were identified.

The aim of this qualitative respondent investigation is to delve into the various views that teachers have concerning the ?One-to-One project?, as well as the use of computers as an aid in teaching. Denna rapport sammanfattar resultat av ett examensarbete på en högskoleingenjörsutbildning som utfördes av två studenter på Malmö högskola. Arbetets syfte var att genomföra en mängd olika experiment med accelerometer, barometer och GPS i en modern smarttelefon. Ett antal scenarier för en tänkbar sensoranvändning i applikationer formulerades för att vägleda olika experiment. Experimentdata dokumenterades noggrant och analyserades med avsikten att skapa en databank med information för framtida studier. Analys av data inkluderar höjdbestämning i naturen och i byggnader med hjälp av barometersensor, geografisk position med hjälp av GPS, hastighet och acceleration under en hissfärd med hjälp av accelerometer. Rapporten innehåller en omfattande litteraturstudie om användning av sensorer vid inomhuspositionering. Från analys av mätdata, kom vi fram till slutsatsen att är möjligt att beräkna höjden från barometerdata med bra noggrannhet under optimala omständigheter. GPS höjden från mätningarna har stor felmarginal jämfört med den verkliga höjden samt när den jämförs med den beräknade höjden från barometern. Genom att utföra en numerisk integration på accelerometer-data kom vi fram till att det är möjligt att beräkna ungefär hur långt man har färdats med en hiss, dock att vissa detaljer måste tas i beaktning..

Background: As a part of a national health control program, Statens VeterinärmedicinskaAnstalt performs diagnostics to screen flocks for certain pathogens causing high mortality,morbidity and/or serious economical losses. There are several viruses in the programincluding IBDV (infectious bursal disease virus), IBV (infectious bronchitis virus) and NDV(Newcastle disease virus). Method: 96 serum samples were collected from different poultryflocks in Sweden and analyzed by ELISA, which are currently used in the health controlprogram as well as by a commercial prototype of a multiplex immunoassay manufactured byLuminex Corp., which is currently under evaluation at the United States Department ofAgriculture USDA. This 4-plex assay detects antibodies for the three above-mentionedviruses as well as antibodies of avian reovirus. In the context of this study the ELISAs run inroutine diagnostics as well as a REO ELISA were used as the standard for comparison.Result: The antibody concentration in serum from vaccinated chickens was high while theantibody concentration level in serum from not vaccinated chickens was low.

Mindre företag i Sverige använder även i dag äldre DOS-baserade (Disk Operating System) program för att hantera sina administrationsbehov. I takt med övergången till fönsterbaserade applikationer har även behovet av hanteringen av övergången ökat. I detta examensarbete har företaget ifråga haft behov av en uppdatering av dess befintliga DOS-baserade administrationsprogram. Uppgiften har varit att ta fram ett motsvarande Windows-baserat administrationsprogram med stöd för alla de funktioner som det ursprungliga programmet hade men med utökad funktionalitet. För att lösa denna uppgift har första steget i samråd med företagets representant varit att analysera hur användarna använder det befintliga systemet för att ta reda på de funktioner som behövdes för att skapa ett väl fungerande program.

AbstractOne aim of this thesis, has been to explore how discursive frames are constructed, frames to relate to, compare with, and therefore be part in shaping political subjects. The other aim has been connected with a more empirical platform, where I wanted to discover how these frames are established and structured discursively within a political organization, among its members; in this case with a foucs on the Swedish social democracy and its former leader Olof Palme. The thesis starts with a theoretical presentation and discussion, where focus is on the concepts of ideology, discourse theory in the form of Laclau and Mouffe, and narrative theory. The concepts will be presented and discussed, and also related to the other concepts to see their theoretical potential, both ontologically and epistemologically. Finally the theoretical rudiment is linked and analyzed with the empirical material.
