This essay is about the asylum and immigration politics within the EU. Due to the heavy criticism the EU has been exposed to from among others different kind of human rights organizations I have become interested to find out what kind of asylum and migration politics right now is being formed by the member states of the union. Thus the purpose is also to see if the EU is creating a policy within this area that intends to live up to the human rights obligations.My overall research question is:Which ideas characterize the asylum and immigration politics within the EU?The theoretical perspectives of universalism and particularism are used as two analytical tools in order to understand the phenomenon I am investigating and to identify its characterizing ideas. In my essay universalism and particularism are used as opposite ideal types.

Sjukdom i hjärta och kärl har ökat och är i dag orsak till störst antal dödsfall och sjuklighet i Sverige. Hör till de livsstilssjukdomar som ökar. Den här studien belyser personers upplevelse av livsstilsförändring till följd av sjukdom i hjärta och kärl och beskriver ett inifrån perspek-tiv. Den utvecklar förståelse för hur förändringen påverkar personen och livet och för att hitta rätt metoder i att stödja och motivera till att förändra sin livsstil. Studiens syfte var att genom en systematisk litteratursökning beskriva personers upplevelse av att förändra livsstil till följd av hjärt- och kärl sjukdom.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to increase the knowledge of which strategies students with reading and writing disabilities or dyslexia use to learn in secondary school. The study aims to examine the following questions:Which coping strategies do students with reading and writing disabilities use in their studies?How can remedial teachers support students with reading and writing disabilities in their learning process?The study consists of two interviews with a total of three hours recorded material made with a secondary school teacher who teaches Swedish and English. The teacher has experiences of reading and writing disabilities herself but also from teaching students with dyslexia. The interviews are constructed into a lifestory describing experiences of reading and writing disabilities in school, during teacher training and as a teacher.

There is an irregularity in the interregional migration in Sweden. An increasing proportion ofthe population is drawn to the metropolitan areas, which creates problems for the smallermunicipalities and towns when their population declines. At the same time, our whole societyis faced with a great challenge: we need to redirect towards a sustainable development, wherethe environmental issues are discussed and dealt with to secure that all present and futuregenerations are given equal opportunities to live a good life.The aim of this study is to, focusing mainly on the environmental dimension of thesustainability concept, examine the attractivity of housing with sustainability claims. Toanswer this, three research questions were used:? Was the migration motive to reduce their environmental impact a part of the decision tomove, among migrants who had moved to housing with sustainability claims?? If the motive was a part of the decision, how much impact did it have compared to othermigration motives?? Which factors in housing aiming at sustainability are considered important by peopleliving in housing with sustainability claims?The research questions have been answered using quantitative data, gained in the form of selfadministeredquestionnaires which were distributed in four different residential areas withsustainability claims in the county of Västra Götaland, Sweden.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva erfarenheter av arbetsterapeutiska åtgärder för personer med långvarig smärta. Kvalitativ metod användes och intervjuer med nio personer utfördes, sex kvinnor och tre män. Inklusionskriterier var att personerna hade haft smärta i minst sex månader, hade fått arbetsterapeutisk behandling för långvarig smärta samt befann sig i arbetsför ålder. Intervjuerna utgick ifrån semistrukturerade frågor. Dataanalys genomfördes med innehållsanalys.

SammanfattningAtt undersöka en befolknings fysiska aktivitet ger beskrivande data utavdagsläget samt att resultatet fungerar som mätinstrument för hur en framtidaintervention ska utformas. Syftet med denna studie var att se om någotsamband förelåg mellan tre olika undersökningsinstrument för fysiskaktivitet, som används för med barn med övervikt. Metod: Deltagarnamättes, vägdes, skattade sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå (frågeformulär), testade sinfysiska prestationsförmåga (sex minuters gångtest) och deras fysiska aktivitetmättes (accelerometer). Resultat: Åtta flickor, 7-13 år, med ett Body MassIndex (BMI) på 26 ± 3,7 kg/m2deltog. Majoriteten skattade sig vara fysisktaktiva 30-60 min/dag under vardag och helg, men som grupp var skattningensignifikant lägre på helgen.

ABSTRACTBackground: The incidence of type 2 diabetes is increasing worldwide. Early intervention in form of medication, advice on self-management and lifestyle changes is necessary to avoid complications. Few Swedish studies are made on the diabetes nurse?s views on promotion of self- management.Purpose: To examine the diabetes specialist nurse?s experience of promoting self-management to patients with type 2 diabetes in primary care.  Method: A qualitative explorative study where eight diabetes nurses were interviewed. The interview guide consisted of semistructed questions concerning the promotion of self-management.Results: The diabetes nurse?s role in promoting patient self-management is significant, if resources are available in the form of adequate time for the patient and good team work.

Bakgrund: Vetskapen om att barn utsätts för övergrepp, kränkningar eller försummelse berör oss människor starkt. Utsatthet är när en vuxen person utsätter ett barn för fysiskt eller psykiskt våld, sexuella övergrepp, kränkningar eller försummar att tillgodose barnets grundläggande behov. Distriktssköterskans roll i barnhälsovården är att minska skadlig påfrestning för barnföräldrar samt att minska hälsoproblem för barnfamiljen och ge stöd och vård till barn och föräldrar. Syftet med studien var att undersöka distriktssköterskans erfarenhet av att arbeta med utsatta barn och deras familjer, samt hur distriktssköterskan stödjer och bemöter familjen. Metod: Åtta distriktssköterskor intervjuades och kvalitativ innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats användes för att analysera data.

Intresset för barn med Downs syndrom har funnits hos mig sedan förskollärarutbildningen för 25 år sedan, då jag under en praktikperiod mötte en flicka med detta syndrom. Hon var vid 13 års ålder utan verbalt tal. När jag många år senare hörde talas om Karlstadmodellen, som är en modell för språkträning av barn, ungdomar och vuxna med språkstörning kom jag att tänka på denna flicka och vilka möjligheter hon kunde ha haft. Under specialpedagogutbildningen har intresset kommit att röra samhällets stöd, arbetet med alternativ och kompletterande kommunikation och inkludering av dessa barn. I denna undersökning har intervjuer gjorts med 15 personer i nära kontakt med fyra barn med Downs Syndrom: föräldrar, resurspersoner/assistenter, förskollärare, lärare och fritidspedagoger.

ABSTRACTIntroduction: An increasing number of patients undergo surgery under local anesthesia and are thereforeawake during the procedure. Nursing care that is provided to these patients can differ from those thatreceive general anesthesia. Previous research has focused on patients? general experiences of being awakeintraoperative. But there is no research that focuses on patients perceptions of security.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med uppsatsen var att genom systematisk observation undersöka hur en ungdomsfotbollstränare använder sig av beteenden som är överensstämmande med Enhanced Guided Discovery (EGD) och Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) i sin tränarroll under träning. Syftet besvarades med hjälp av följande frågeställningar: Hur ser fördelningen ut för tränaren med instruktionsbeteenden, feedback och frågetekniker? Hur stor del av träningen går åt till aktiviteter i training form respektive playing form?MetodMetoden som användes var en systematisk deltagande observation. Observationen gjordes i realtid och följde en modifierad version av Coach Analysis and Intervention System (CAIS)(Cushion, Harvey, Muir & Nelson 2012, s. 201ff.; Partington & Cushion 2011).

Intresset för kroppsmedvetna behandlingsmetoder inom strokerehabilitering har ökat. Basal Kroppskännedom (BK) är en behandlingsmetod där fokus ligger på kroppsmedvetenhet, rörelsebeteende och grundläggande rörelseförmåga för att därigenom återställa kroppslig och själslig balans. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att studera beskrivna behandlingsmetoder med inriktning på kroppsmedvetenhet inom strokerehabilitering. Ett annat syfte var att i en kvalitativ studie undersöka om gruppbehandling i BK ger effekter som är möjliga att se ur ett anhörigperspektiv.Metod: För litteraturstudien gjordes sökningar i PubMed, AMED och CINAHL med sökorden stroke, physiotherapy, intervention, body awareness, tai chi, yoga, gigong, alexanderteknik, feldenkrais.
