The main purpose of this Masters thesis is to contribute to the understanding of high school teachers information seeking behaviour in the transition from university studies to occupational practice. The theoretical framework encompasses theories of professional socialization, the sociology of knowledge, of professions, and of library and information science. The empirical material has been collected through interviews with six recently qualified high school teachers in different subjects. The interviews have been analysed on two different levels; first on a descriptive level and then on a theoretical level. The major findings are that the academic context limited the student teachers information seeking and they did not have the opportunity to choose cognitive authorities on their own initiative.

This study aims to highlight patients´ experiences about and thoughts of side effects fromelectroconvulsive therapy (ECT), a therapeutic method commonly used when having severedepressions. The framing of questions were how the respondents of this study describe theirlife before, during and after ECT-treatment, how the treatment has affected their daily life andhow these experiences may contribute to the awareness of power in professional relations.The study is based on three semi-structured narrative interviews and the main result showedthat, according to my interpretation, ECT as a treatment obliterated memories, quality of lifeand daily structure for all participants. Unfortunately they have all become subjects ofpsychiatric power and have faced considerable difficulty in getting professional recognitionaccording to their severe memory issues. The respondents have lost the ability to relate totheir past which clearly makes them struggle in their present context. A point in commonamong them is that neither of them wanted ECT but, because of the lack of communicationbetween them as patients and the health care in general, they all ended up getting it..

Arbetet behandlar skapandet av en bok om Linköping som vänder sig till nyinflyttade. Boken ska ge en bild av staden och inspirera människor att själva upptäcka den. Syftet är att bokens läsare ska kunna ta till sig information och se Linköping med nya ögon nästa gång de möter staden. Arbetet undersöker hur man skapar en bok om Linköping som vänder sig till nyinflyttade, för att informera om historia, platser att besöka och saker att göra. Arbetssättet är likt både en informatörs och en journalists, men mer åt informationshållet.

The aim of this study was to reach a better understanding of voluntary work and its possible influence on the work role. Based on a phenomenological approach, five voluntary workers from the leisure field were interviewed. The interpretation of the empirical data was based on the Humanistic psychology and its theories about personality, self-realization, motivation and emotion. The results show that the motive behind the voluntary engagement varied amongst the participants and all of them stated more than one motive. However, social motives, wanting to learn more and develop their skills and also wanting to help others, were the most frequent motives among the participants.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa impotensens inverkan på mäns livskvalitet samt att undersöka i vilket behov av stöd och information impotenta män är och vilken roll sjuksköterskan kan ha för patientgruppen. Resultatet base-ras på tio vetenskapliga artiklar, som granskats enligt Polit, et al (2001) kriterier för hur en vetenskaplig artikel. Resultatet visar att impotens har en klar påverkan på livskvaliteten för män. B l a kände männen en förlust av sin manlighet, fick sämre självkänsla och en negativ påverkan på mannens sociala liv var tydlig. Ett behov av en mer öppen diskussion kring sexualitet efterlyses av männen samt bättre information om bakomliggande orsaker och behandlingsalternativ.

För företag idag är det av stor betydelse att ha en fungerande interninformation. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa hur butikschefer och medarbetare i ett företag upplevde och definierade sin interninformation samt se hur interninformationen fungerade i nutiden och hur de eftersträvade att den borde fungera i framtiden. Målet var även att belysa vilka informationskanaler som ansågs vara mest informativa och fungerande. Elva intervjuer genomfördes och därefter analyserades data med hjälp av en induktiv tematisk analys. I studien framkom att de intervjuades upplevelse av interninformationen var positiv.

Questions concerning the Cultural Heritage must be integrated in social planning.Therefore there is a need for adequate methods for cultural environmental analysis, toreceive knowledge that is relevant in an integrated conservation. The thesis is a review ofmethods for cultural environmental analysis and discusses the qualifications necessary fora method in order to receive adequate information as well as it discusses what kind ofinformation to be considered relevant. The thesis also analyzes a specific method forcultural environmental analysis in order to exam if it has got the qualifications concludedas necessary if it is to be used in an integrated conservation. The conclusion is that amethod for cultural environmental analysis should collect information about the entireenvironment (integrated information about nature and culture, in a historical perspectiveand how it is today), about social structures, physical remains (buildings etc) and what thecollected information tell about the history of the studied area, as well as what is importantin the landscape of today. Information about how the environment should be treated in thefuture is also of importance.

Hjärt-kärlsjukdom kan uppstå plötsligt men också komma smygande. Det kan medföra förändringar i patientens livssituation vilket medför vissa begränsningar. För att kunna hantera dessa förändringar behöver patienten ha kunskap om sjukdomen och om de konsekvenser det har för det dagliga livet. Det är viktigt att som sjuksköterska uppmärksamma om patienten har svårt att förstå informationen på ett korrekt sätt. En ofullständig förståelse kan leda till ett nytt insjuknande.

The study examines how efficiency and effectiveness are measured in charity organizations in Sweden. The rules of Svensk Insamlingskontroll, Årsredovisningslagen and Bokföringslagen make up the accounting framework upon which efficiency and effectiveness are measured in charity organizations. The study is based upon interviews with the sector's main actors: Svensk Insamlingskontroll, Frivilligorganisationernas insamlingsråd, auditors and the charity organizations themselves. The interviews are supplemented by studies of the guidelines issued by Svensk Insamlingskontroll. Today's measure of efficiency is the percentage of a charity organization's income that benefits their goals, called nyckeltalet.

This essay is focused on the questions of and responsibility for where, when, how and why communication and meetings through archaeology should take place. I have critically studied Swedish public archaeology through three diverse archaeological excava­tions, one took place in the end of the 1980s, and two others in 2012.I have asked for under what circum­stances and with which goals the public efforts become possible. I have inter­viewed leaders for the archaeological excavations and/or the public efforts and questi­o­ned how and why they reached out to the public. I also searched for results and effects in order to problematize and value the public activities.Through interpretation of the resear­ched material it becomes clear that economic issues as well as archaeo­logists interests and engagements are of vital importance for public archaeology. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur ICA arbetar med corporate social responsibilty och hur de väljer att kommunicera ansvarstagandet samt hur det uppfattas av deras konsumenter. Metoderna som använts är textanalys med retorisk inriktning, analys av sekundärempiriskt material med ett hermeneutiskt synsätt. I analysen framgår det att det finns mycket information om ICAs arbete om CSR, men nästan ingen information om hur de kommunicerar ansvarstagandet. Undersökningar som genomförts visar att konsumenter anser att informationen om ICAs arbete med CSR är bristfällig. Det finns ett behov hos konsumenterna, som önskar förbättrad kommunikation och information av ICAs samhällsansvar..

Along with the development of technology, the cross-border trade is increasing and therefore there is a need for greater consumer protection. A good consumer protection creates a feeling of safety for the consumer and that by itself may help to increase cross-border trade. This is one of the reasons for why the EU has established regulatory framework for electronic commerce, for example the Directive2000/31/EC. The direc-tive strives to create a similar law for electronic commerce within the European Union. This paper?s main purpose is to ensure that the directive is implemented properly in Swedish law, and if there are other possible ways to achieve the objective, other than the ones that the Swedish legislator has chosen.

Denna studie behandlar ämnet sekretessbelagd information och hur det påverkar relationer mellan företag som ingår i et partnerskap. Vi har utgått från att ta reda på hur anställda på Saab Aeronautics hanterar detta och hur deras kommunikation och tillit till partners påverkas av sekretessbelagd information. Det teoretiska underlaget som presenteras i denna uppsats består huvudsakligen av en sammanställning av forskning gällande döljandet av information inom företagsrelationer. För att vidare redogöra för forskning i ämnena kommunikation och tillit mellan partners, men även hur döljandet av information påverkar kommunikation och tillit i partnerrelationer. Vi har baserat det empiriska underlaget på intervjuer med anställda hos Saab Aeronautics, dock med olika arbetsuppgifter för att få en bredare förståelse av hur sekretessbelagd information påverkar partnerrelationer ur olika aspekter. Sekundärdata har även samlats från Saab Aeronautics interna dokument för att studera de riktlinjer som redan finns hos företaget gällande informationsutbytet med partners när sekretessbelagd information är inblandad. Slutsatserna som undersökningen har påvisat är att det både kan finnas positiva och negativa aspekter med att hålla information hemlig inom partnerrelationer. Sekretessbelagd information påverkar kommunikationen mellan partners eftersom inte all information kan delas, vilket vidare resulterar i att tilliten mellan parterna blir lidande.

Through a discourse theoretical apparatus, this study examines Sweden's national curriculum, which is constructed for primary schools, pre-school class and leisure time classes. The study also examines the syllabus in physical education and the supplied comment material to the syllabus, the above mentioned material all valid from 1 July 2011. Using cultural researcher Marianne Winther Jørgensen's and communication researcher Louise Phillips interpretation of the political theorists Ernest Laclau and Chantal Mouffe's discourse theory, the study identifies several discourses in the new curriculums. The analysis shows that the curriculums writers construct their expectations through a rhetoric that is perceived as instructional and descriptive. The analysis identified eight discourses, woven into three "orders of discourse", the body, health and physical education.
