Syfte: Syftet med detta arbete har varit att utveckla mig som interpret genom att skaffa mig en bredare kunskap om hur dubbelgrepp och ackord nyttjas inom olika epoker av klassisk konstmusik skriven för viola.Frågeställning: Kan kännedom om dubbelgreppens (inklusive ackordspelets)musikaliska funktion, kompositörernas syfte med dem och de olika epokernas ideal för dubbelgreppsspel, hjälpa mig i mitt eget utförande och interpretation av dubbelgrepp?Metod: Min metod har varit att först välja ut ett antal dubbelgreppspassager ifrån olika epoker inom klassisk konstmusik och sedan intervjua ett antal olika teoriprofessorer och musiker om hur dessa bör interpreteras. Slutligen har jag övat på passagerna och gjort inspelningar av mina egna interpretationer av dessa..

Tyngdpunkten ligger på att klargöra Henzes syn på musikalisk interpretation ur sitt perspektiv som tonsättare och hans syn på konstnärlig frihet för de musiker som framför hans verk. Relationen mellan tonsättare och interpret i processen av tillblivelsen av ett verk studeras också i anknytning till Henzes egna resonemang kring interpretation och kompositionsprocessen. Uppsatsens huvudfrågor och delmoment kommer fortlöpande att belysas och ställas i relation till konkreta exempel i diskuterade form. Undersökningen är främst baserad på litteraturstudier. Litteraturen behandlar i huvudsak ämnena musikestetik och musikalisk interpretation, samt gitarren som instrument och dess repertoar från senare hälften av 1900-talet och framåt.

Titel: Ett annat sätt att tänka - Brahms stråkkvartett i a-moll, Op. 51b. Baaserar på ett projekt som gjordes som en del av forskningsarbetet "mot ett konstmusikens utvidgade fält" vid Högskolan för scen och musik, hösten 2010. Projektet handlade om att i arbetet med kammarmusik i stråkkvartett tänka på ett alternativt sätt vad gäller interpretation, ensemblespel, sceniskt framförande och repetitionsteknik. Texten handlar om min upplevelse kring projektets arbete och vilka konsekvenser det medförde och hur det påverkade mig som musiker och människa.

This essay examines the processes of interpretations of hadith within a group of muslim women in Stockholm, Sweden. The readings and interpretation of hadith took place in a smaller mosque. The practices of interpretation was studied by the authour through observations and further discussed with informants in interviews. Meaningmaking processes which connected the hadith readings with the everyday life of the group participants; related to questions of moral and etics, relations between men and women and other specific issues, has been highlightened through the observations. The material from observations and interviews has been examined hermeneutically through a narrative model of analysis, revealing structures of interpretation which includes local perspectives as well as connections to a global islamic discourse.

The main purpose of a logotype is to harmonize with a company?s business concept and culture. This study is based on the receiver?s attitudes about three different logotypes - Volvo, Telia and Mcdonald's. It informs the reader about the importance of a logotype as a mean of communication and if the perceptions of the logotype harmonize with the profile of the company.

Vår intention med detta arbete är att undersöka möjligheten att integrera sångteknik och interpretation i sångundervisningen. Våra forskningsfrågor är följande: ?Finns det fördelar respektive nackdelar med att aktivt jobba med interpretation? ?På vilket sätt påverkar sångteknik och interpretation varandra? ?Vilka tillvägagångssätt finns att tillgå för en integrerad undervisning? Vi har intervjuat fyra verksamma sångpedagoger inom afrosång och erhållit deras åsikt om ämnet. Syftet och frågeställningarna i vår undersökning kan efter våra intervjuer besvaras som följer; interpretation och sångteknik kan integreras i undervisningen, detta eftersom våra informanter ansåg att de driver en integrerad undervisning. Fördelar är att genom en integrerad undervisning kan man med hjälp av interpretation hitta nya vägar till sångteknisk utveckling, på motsatt sätt kan tekniken påverka uttrycket.

In Korsnäs district Dala Väst there were problems with information concerning their younger forests, mainly those in pre-thinning stage. They were divided into large, heterogeneous stands with often poor stand data quality. In 2006 an aerial photo interpretation of the young forests was conducted to fix these problems. Necessary information to get from the interpretation were silvicultural management suggestions, new stand delineation and new stand data. This thesis is supposed to evaluate the quality and usability of the interpreted data. To evaluate the interpretation an objective control inventory was conducted in 60 stands, either through callipering or counting stems.

The aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between text and picture in two works by Sven Nordqvist, with the focus on how the action is propelled. The two works are compared in order to bring out any differences in the relationship and what significance this can have for the interpretation. The study also considers the theory of conceptual worlds to examine how the books can promote pupils? literary understanding. The method of analysis is based on Rhedin?s (2001) theoretical concepts and elements of Nikolajeva?s (2000) terminology.

Vad är det för skillnad mellan folkmusikaliskt fiolspel och klassiskt violinspel? Syftet med arbetet var att tydliggöra några av de interpretatoriska skillnaderna mellan folkmusik och romantisk musik. Undersökningen gjordes genom instudering av ett romantiskt stycke och en folkmusiklåt med hjälp av lärarhandledning, lyssning på inspelningar och reflektioner kring stilmedlen. Efter tillägnandet av de båda interpretationssättet gjordes en omvänd interpretation. Folkmusiklåten spelades enligt romantisk interpretation och det romantiska stycket spelades med det folkliga spelsättet.

Denna undersökning syftar till att få en inblick i hur några sångpedagoger arbetar med och tänker kring tolkning och musikaliskt uttryck. Detta har undersökts genom kvalitativa intervjuer med sex sångpedagoger med olika bakgrund, arbetsplats och genreinriktning.I min undersökning kommer jag fram till att det trots pedagogernas olika bakgrund i genrekunskap, utbildning, och nivå på elever finns många gemensamma nämnare för hur deras arbete med tolkning och uttryck går till. Att flera av informanterna använder begreppet interpretation under intervjuerna ser jag som att begreppen inte verkar påverka mitt resultat, då jag tolkar det som att informanterna menar samma sak och att innebörden är densamma.Jag anser även att svaren på intervjuerna pekar på att det hos några av informanterna finns en osäkerhet om vad arbetet med tolkning och musikaliskt uttryck kan leda till och att de därför inte i så hög grad medvetet använder detta i sin undervisning.Att arbeta med tolkning och musikaliskt uttryck kan innebära en mängd olika saker vilka har gemensamt att skapa medvetenhet om det egna uttrycket. Detta kan enligt litteraturen, Rydberg - Asplind med flera, leda till mer personligt uttryck samt bättre teknik..

Insurance terms always go with the insurance contract that you sign. In theseterms the assurers rights and obligations towards the insurer are stipulated. It is often difficult to interpret these insurance terms. Sometimes it is hard to decide whether an incident is considered an insurance event or not. These problems often cause disputes between the assurer and the insurer.

The basis for this study is the question of what happens at the point of impact between receiver and message in the case of a social marketing campaign on Facebook promoting sustainable travel. Hence the aim of this study is to analyse the reception of the social marketing campaign Fairadise in a sample of 19 individuals. The design of the study is therefore reception analysis with the help of four focus groups and thematic analysis to later identify patterns and themes in the gathered material. The theoretical approaches were collected from the field of media and communication and focused on public communication campaigns, public understanding of public communication campaigns as well as decoding of messages. The questions posed were; how is the Facebook campaign Fairadise received by the focus group participants? How do the participants read (decode) the campaign; dominant, negotiated or oppositional? And what assessments do the participants have regarding the visual versus textual information in the campaign? Previous research has shown that visual and emotional attributes are of great importance when it comes to interpreting messages about sustainable tourism and that rational information attributes are of less importance. The findings in this study agree with this previous research except when it comes to rational information.

Animal art is one of the more mystical aspects of Scandinavian Iron Age culture. It has foremost been regarded in the light of art and style history. Interpretation has also ? mainly from the 1990s and onwards ? been made through iconographic analysis. But the problem here is that iconography requires textual analogy, something that the Scandinavian Iron Age lacks.The purpose of this paper is to lift some of the ?mystical fog? that engulfs the scandinavian animal art, by developing a method for interpretation of pre-historic images that evades the flaws in the iconographic method.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate modern influence in the painting Strömkarlen, by Ernst Josephson. Strömkarlen was painted 1884 in Norway. First the essay performed an investigation of earlier researchers statements to establish a ?common truth? that puts the painting in a realistic/naturalistic-romantic context. With the help of Yve-Alain Bois? model, where he sees art from the painters point of wiew, it was possible to use two articles, written by Ernst Josephson in the fall of 1884, where he debates the conditions for art and artists in Sweden.
