PURPOSE: By analysing collected data using theory, we aim to interpret the design, implementation and the usage of BSC in NPO?s to be able to contribute to the research. METHODOLOGY: A case study design has been made through semi-structured interviews and backed up by a quantitative survey and internal documents. THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVES: Based on the sources given from the creators of the scorecard together with some sceptics and some followers, we have outlined the bases of balanced scorecard. To map out the non-profit sector and its strategic needs, the theories have tried to settle the specific need for the strategic tool given.

With gas prices persistently rising, electric and hybrid vehicles are getting more and more common and in recent years several new electric cars have evolved on the market. Although the energy consumption and low emissions are a huge benefit of the electric cars, they inevitably suffer from high prices, short range and time consuming recharging periods. To be able to withstand the competition it is important that electric vehicles not only can withstand general were and tare, but also the harsh conditions that ordinary cars is exposed to in daily usage. The purpose of this project is to develop a test methodology which replicate situations that could appear in daily usage of electric or hybrid cars and to understand the problems related to usage of electric cars in winter conditions. This paper also discusses the major differences between hybrid cars and electric cars.

This study investigates the internet habits of students in the Swedish gymnasium. The part that internet plays in their lives and their attitude towards the educational system is reflected upon the philosophical background that stretches from Kant to postmodern philosophers such as Baudrillard. The aim is to create knowledge about how the social aspects of the internet affects their concepts of reality and their own and others identities. The method used for the collection of empirical data has been semi-structured interviews, preformed with students in a Swedish gymnasium. The data is then interpreted against the theoretical and philosophical background.

The purpose of this qualitative study has been; how social bonds are interlaced between the social worlds contained within the analytical division of ?outside Internet? and ?within Internet?. What happens with the social bond as the individual oscillate between this analytic bisection? The paper aims to find out how staff and users at two public libraries and one Internetcafeuse Internet. The purpose has been to find out what they find and how they use the informa­tion they retrieve. The studies are based on eight longer interviews with the staff and 33 shorter with the users, who also were observed for a week. The paper includes a background chap­ter about Internet, search tools and the studied places. The following chapters are about pre­vious research, our survey and a discussion with the results, literature and our opinion.We have found out that Internet is usually used for information retrieval.

I en allt större utsträckning brer internet ut sig och det är viktigt fundera över vad detta betyder för skolan. Detta arbetes syfte har varit att få en förståelse om lärares uppfattning om internets roll i skolan. Via fokusgrupper har lärares resonemang om hur och varför internet ska användas i skolan insamlats. Resultatet innebar ett ointresse från lärarnas sida för allmänna riktlinjer men istället kunde de se många användningsområden för internet i skolan. Dessa användningsområden visade på en bred pedagogisk grund med koppling till både Piaget, Dewey och Vygotsky.

Problem: Today Frigoscandia Equipment Europe, FSEE, is not sure how their CRM-system, MSMS, is used along with other solutions at the different regions throughout Europe. The company is interested in a usage evaluation describing by who and how the system is used. FSEE is also concerned about the users opinions of future development and improvements.Management is also concerned about how MSMS would support the After Market and gain full leverage of the IT investments. MSMS is today only used to a limited extent in a few of the After Market departments, and FSEE is interested in what an overall usage would mean in terms of improved internal communication, customer focus and information management. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a serious postoperative complication and nurses should therefore observe symptoms in an early stage and implement preventive provisions, for example use of graduated compression stockings (GCS). The nurse is also responsible for making sure that ordinate GCS tried and used correctly by the patients. The aim of this study was to investigate the latest research regarding the efficacy of GCS in prevention of postoperative DVT and if there are any incorrectness in usage. And assess guidelines and recommendations for the usage of GCS. Method: Literature review.

Vårt examensarbete belyser hur lärare och elever arbetar med Internet i skolan idag. Syftet är att undersöka om Internet kan vara ett verktyg för meningsfullt lärande. Det är det sociokulturella perspektivet enligt Lev Vygotskij (1896-1934), som ligger till grund för vår syn på lärande där den sociala interaktionen och omgivningen är viktiga delar i lärandet. Tidigare forskning visar att Internet som verktyg i undervisningen medför både för ? och nackdelar.

Syftet med denna studie var att identifiera och beskriva äldre personers erfarenheter och föreställningar av hur internet kan bidra till att vara delaktig i en vardagsgemenskap. För att besvara studiens syfte genomfördes en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av data insamlad via fokusgrupper. Via en pensionärsorganisation rekryterades tolv deltagare som indelades i tre grupper och varje grupp intervjuades vid två tillfällen vardera. Analysen mynnade ut i tre kategorier; Resurser och begränsningar för tillgång till vardagsgemenskap via internet, Internet som en väg och möjlighet till vardagsgemenskap och Betydelsen av att vara en del av vardagsgemenskap via internet. Resultatet visade betydelsen av att övervinna svårigheter och ha tillgång till resurser, där en viktig aspekt var att den sociala miljön kunde påverka och möjliggöra tillträde till en vardagsgemenskap via internet.

In this essay we describe the characteristics of the internet language used by senior-level school pupils. Our primary question formulation is: ?Which are the significant features of the youth?s internet language on a morphological, lexical, syntactical and orthographical level?? In order to answer this question we have analyzed 45 text ex-amples which is brought from two different internet forums, Bilddagboken.se and Un-gdomar.se, forums which are widely used by youths. The analysis has been made on a morphological, lexical, orthographical and syntactical level. We have also another question formulation which is: ?How is emoticons used in youth?s internet conversa-tions?? Thereby we also study the use of emoticons in the examples we have analyzed.Our conclusion in this essay is that the youth?s internet language is a language that in many cases should be seen as an own language; it should be seen as an entirely new and unique way of communication.
