The mobile revolution is here to stay, and today most people have (at least) one cell phone at home. Some even a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)as a complement for the simpler tasks at the office, e.g sending e-mail, word processing, browsing the Internet etc. Many business have also given the employees the opportunity to do some of the business tasks inbetweeen customer visits with the help from a cell phone or PDA.Despite all this, the so called Internet connected mobile revolution is often mentioned as a big failure. Maybe because the people in general tended not to use the new technology as much as the companies predicted. This could be because they still haven't learned how it works, or just don't seem to have the need for services provided.After a couple of failures in the development process, almost every cell phone has support for mobile Internet today.

Bakgrund: Personer som använder Internet kan bli övervakade och profilerade av bland annat spionprogram och cookies på webbsidor. Dessa spion-program och dolda filer kan samla ihop information om användaren som skickas tillbaka till sändaren. Detta sker ofta utan användarens vetskap. Företag som placerar spionprogram i fildelningsprogram har syftet att samla information för att sedan rikta reklam till privatpersoner. Den information som kommer tillbaka kan säljas vidare i undersökande syfte för reklam till en tredje part.

Internationell läxforskning visar ett positivt samband mellan läxläsning och resultat och många lärare bekräftar detta samband. Denna undersökning bygger på föreställningen att graden av läxläsning i gymnasiematematik påverkas negativt av bristande tillgång till läxhjälp vilket i sin tur påverkar resultatet negativt. Syftet med denna studie är därför undersöka i vilken omfattning efterlyser gymnasieelever hjälp med hemläxor i matematik och om eleverna kan tänka sig ta emot den hjälpen över Internet. Resultat visar att en majoritet av elever kan tänka sig att aktivt söka löpande läxhjälp över ett bemannade Internet forum och ännu fler efterlyser samma hjälp inför olika skolprov. Enbart en försvinnande liten del av eleverna utnyttjar läxhjälp som deras skolor erbjuder idag.

Introduction:Children in early age diagnosed with scoliosis and in need of surgery will grow up to undergo several operations in the back. Parents play a major role in the care of their children during hospitalization.Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate parents´ experiences of having a child diagnosed with scoliosis before the age of five undergoing repeated surgeries in the back.Method:The study had a qualitative descriptive design. Five parents with children aged 5-15 years, who have undergone several operations were interviewed about there experiences of the child?s illness and treatment. Phenomenological-hermeneutical analyze where used.Results:The parents felt a sense of shock when they were told about their child?s diagnose and treatment.

The purpose of this essay is to analyse the descriptions of young girls' experiences of internet contacts, which have led up to sexual abuse. The aim is to give additional understanding and knowledge concerning grooming.       Grooming means that somebody gets in contact with someone else with the intention of committing sexual violations at a later stage. This study aims to highlight patients´ experiences about and thoughts of side effects fromelectroconvulsive therapy (ECT), a therapeutic method commonly used when having severedepressions. The framing of questions were how the respondents of this study describe theirlife before, during and after ECT-treatment, how the treatment has affected their daily life andhow these experiences may contribute to the awareness of power in professional relations.The study is based on three semi-structured narrative interviews and the main result showedthat, according to my interpretation, ECT as a treatment obliterated memories, quality of lifeand daily structure for all participants. In this study we intend to evaluate the effect of cetirizin, orally administrated to horses with insect dermal hypersensitivity. The study comprised 156 horses from 49 farms, which were located in different parts of Sweden. The horses were matched on the farms and were given cetirizin or placebo in a double blind test. Veterinarians collected a blood sample and examined the horses visually, before and after three weeks of treatment and filled in given forms. The results are based on the veterinarians? subjective evaluation of the clinical appearance of the allergic dermatitis before and after treatment.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka användbarheten av en webbapplikation som möjliggör beställning/bokning av taxi via Internet. De huvudsakliga frågeställningarna var: Vad har användare för förväntningar på tjänsten samt Vilka delar av webbapplikationen behöver förbättras? Försökspersonerna upptäckte ett flertal förbättringsmöjligheter, vilka handlade om tydligare förklaringar/beskrivningar och gränssnittets design, främst gällande perceptionsproblem..

The purpose of this thesis was to highlight how different aspects of market communication are used when micro companies choose to use both Internet and store selling activities towards the consumer market. The thesis dealt with off-line and on-line communication considerations with focus on advertising, interactions, and relations. In order to achieve this purpose a case study was conducted, that revealed that the companies acted according to theories. The conclusions drawn from the thesis were that companies tended to rely on traditional ways of dealing with advertising and interaction. We could also see that relations were created as a result of unconscious behavior and that the Internet activities still were on a basic level..
