The role distribution between designers and product coordinators and the system support between these roles are adapted according to the method of working that product models primarily are created for production and after sales market. At the same time models are also created to support a cross-functional way of working. This means that product structures exists on paper and as CAD-models before they are created in Scanias PDM-system environment which leads to unnecessary work and to information not being shared as early as it should be possible.A theoretical study has been performed with the purpose of understanding the problems and to create a foundation for improvement suggestions. Representatives from both roles have been interviewed together with other individuals with insight in the collaboration. A minor study concerning the roles of interests? collaboration at Volvo CC was also performed to be able to relate the study to another company.

Introduktion: Begreppet compliance används i optiker- världen för att benämna hur väl en kontaktlinspatient följer instruktioner för linsbärande.En debatt pågår om hur e-handel av kontaktlinser ska kunna skötas för att inte riskera patientsäkerheten. Motståndare till e-handel av kontaktlinser hävdar att det största hotet mot patientsäkerheten är icke-compliance.Syftet med denna undersökning var att undersöka om linsbärare som köper sina kontaktlinser på Internet skiljer sig i compliance gentemot de som köper kontaktlinser i butikMetod: En enkät med 27 frågor som berörde linsskötsel samt hur de medverkande såg på sitt linsbärande delades ut till 53 personer på bland annat kontor och offentliga platser. Enkätsvaren sammanställdes i ett poängsystem, där höga poäng betyder god compliance.Resultat: Totalt blev det 19 stycken Internetköpare och 28 stycken butiksköpare. Medelpoängen blev 23,68 för Internetköparna och 21,07 för butiksköparna. Alltså är de som köper sina kontaktlinser på Internet mer compliant än de som köper i optikerbutik enligt den här studien.Diskussion: Resultatet är mycket intressant och kan tyda på att det kanske är så att Internetköpare tar större ansvar för sitt linsbärande eftersom de känner av ett större ansvar..

Övervakning i  form av insamling och kartläggning av data, genom cookies. Metod och material: En kvantitativ enkätundersökning och kvalitativa djupintervjuer har genomförts. Huvudresultat: Internetanvändare är medvetna om insamlingen, men inte om kartläggningen, av data på internet. Respondenterna och intervjupersonerna uppfattade och associerade cookies med personifierad annonsering, men reflekterade sällan över det.

This paper explores the emic use of ?Internet trolls" and trolling behaviour in one specific Internet community. The findings are compared with, and put in relations to the conventional definition of Internet-trolls as individuals who deliberately, typically anonymously, antagonize other users of online common spaces.A forum dealing with matters of relationship issues in the Swedish online community Message Board of Familjeliv.se, was the subject of field-work that provided the basic empirical material for the research; three comparable threads on the subject of infidelity. These could all be said to contain suspected trolling, and such suspicions were also ascribed participants throughout the discussions. The analysis was undertaken mainly in terms of quality of narrative, performance and interaction.A comparative method and a genre analysis out of a holistic and functionalistic perspective is used to shed some light on how forum participants organize themselves and steer narratives towards desired outcomes.

AbstractThe Swedish Road Administration in the region of Mälardalen has since 2004 worked to in¬crease the efficiency of the maintance of bridges based on limited functional requirements and time demanded action.The maintenance of the bridges is contracted in the county of Uppsala since 2004, and Örebro since 2007. The county of Nyköping and Västerås is contracted by the traditional system. The contractor will perform a regular maintenance on all bridges. The bridges are inspected by the contractor at least once every year.The contractor registers the result of the inspection in a database called BaTMan. BaTMan is a Bridge and Tunnel Management system and is a strictly web solution were the user logs in via the internet.The Swedish Road Administration also inspects the bridges to se that the demands on the bridges are followed.My work is to compare these different inspections and to see any development..

As computerized communication and the Internet have evolved, the possibility to express and affirm one?s identity in new ways has also been created. Facebook, which has taken a leading role among the social fora on the Internet and succeeded worldwide, is my choice of study due to the number of people that actively choose to present themselves on it. The purpose of this thesis is to study the identity construction on Facebook through the activities a member partakes in, as well as how the presentation of oneself is written and if it is a result of a self-reflective process of the individual.The rationale for the qualitative study has been personal interviews in order to get an insight into how the individuals use and present themselves on Facebook and - in the interaction with others ? how they construct their own identity. My hypothesis has been that we, in the interaction with others, have a great possibility to create and understand our own identities. The study results show that identity formation is a constant process and that it is indeed a self-reflective project.

This paper aims to analyze if ground based air defence of the Swedish Defence Forces is sufficiently equipped to protect units serving abroad. The Swedish ground based airdefece has its roots in the era of the cold war but the focus of Swedish Defence Forces has shifted from defending Swedish territory to peace keeping and peace enforcement in foreign countries. First I will take a look at the base factors for ground based air defence units serving in a peace keeping or enforcing mission and then use this to define what abilities you would like to have in a ground based air defence system. Syftet med rapporten har varit att studera gymnasielevers uppfattningar om skolbibliotek, elevernas informationshantering och deras sökstrategier. Dagens skola präglas av ett allt omfattande informationsutbud, där eleverna i regel förväntas att själva söka efter information och sammanställa kunskap. Det förändrade syn- och arbetssättet ställer således stora krav på elevernas arbetsmetoder men även i hur skolans personal väljer att utforma undervisningen.Analysen synliggör att gymnasieeleverna till stor del använder Internet i sina arbetsmetoder och tillskriver informationskällan positiva vinster i dess snabbhet och lättillgänglighet. På samma gång upplever flera elever att Internet medför en rad källkritiska svårigheter och problem i deras arbetsmetoder. Analysen visar även att flera elever uttrycker svårigheter i att orientera sig i skolbiblioteket och att på ett fullständigt och positivt sätt använda sig av skolbibliotekets källmaterial.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the concept of a work and the problems with its definition and will also examine bibliographic relationships. The main question is what are the boundaries of a work and at what point a work becomes another. What is the meaning of the concept of a work within the context of the library? What are the solutions of bibliographic relationships and the concept of a work in KRS and FRBR? The thesis is based on a literature review. In the literature I have examined the discussions of the work and bibliographic relationships.

Today we see a fast developing of the market for mobile communication, both in an increased and changed mobile use, but also in the development of new technologies and services. Much that can be performed on Internet/Intranet today with a PC will in some years also be possible to do with a mobile terminal. Mobile Internet will probable take place when new technologies as GPRS, EDGE and UMTS will be in use. These technologies in combination with the development of new terminals and services will bring new capabilities for both companies and private users. The purpose of this master`s thesis is to examine how the contemporary changes in society display itself in the network Ecumenical Forum of European Christian Women EFECW and to increase the understanding of networks. My main questions are: What does the networks structure look like? What does the networks relationships look like? How is identity created in the network and what types of identities is created? The objectives are reached by using two methods, qualitative inquiries and document analysis. The inquiries were carried out to nine members in the network of different countries. The theoretical framework of the thesis is Manuel Castells theories of the network society, and the study is also placed in context by a presentation of previous research on the field.

In this thesis, two real-time stereo methods have been implemented and evaluated. The first one is based on blockmatching and the second one is based on local phase. The goal was to be able to run the algorithms at real-time and examine which one is best. The blockmatching method performed better than the phase based method, both in speed and accuracy.
