This bachelor thesis is based on the current discourse within the aid policy, whichhighlights and focuses on measurability and reporting of results within the development cooperation.The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Swedish CSOs Diakonia and Plan Sverige, bothoperating many of its activities through which Sida are directing Swedish aid, are influenced by theresults agenda in it?s work, and to investigate which impact this has on participation of the recipient.The research is based on information collected through examination of relevant text such asdocuments from the organisations, agencies and from debate articles and inquires. Together with datacollected through informant interviews with informants from the organizations this information hasbeen analyzed through a qualitative content analysis. The study show that the demands occurringwithin the development cooperation mainly generates quantitative, short term results in order tomaintain legitimacy as an organization. The focus has changed from a traditionally high reliance onthe organizations activities to instead focus on which results the organizations can present as a resultof its work.

Warnit AB har under ett tidigare examensarbete vid LTU utvecklat ett intelligent larmsystem som känner av vibrationer och automatiskt sänder ett trådlöst larm till användaren via SMS eller e-post. För att utveckla ytterligare produkten har Warnits VD, Peter Stenlund kommit med ett förslag om effektmätning på trefassystem. Detta examensarbete har i samarbete med EISLAB (Embedded Internet System Laboratory) vid Luleå tekniska universitet resulterat i ett prototypeffektmätningssystem för aktiv, reaktiv och skenbar-effekt på symmetriska trefaslaster. AbstractPurpose/Aim: In my essay I study the use of Internet with information overload as my perspective. I compare two age groups in order to find out whether there is a difference between generations in how they use the Internet and experience the vast amount of information that is found on the net.Material/Method: I gather information from six frequent World Wide Web users to find out whether they are experiencing information overload when using the Internet in their spare time and how they structure and make sense of the vast amount of information that is found on the net. I use semi-structured interviews to gather qualitative, not quantitative, material for my study. I have also used literature and websites on information overload, the Internet, and connected themes in order to get a broader picture of the subject and help me analyse the material.Main results: The main results of my study are that frequent Internet users do not feel that they suffer from the vast amount of information found on the World Wide Web. They rather enjoy it and if they have heard the term information overload they assume that it does not apply to their use of the Internet.

The aim of this study is to examine the experienced life situations of siblings growing up with a brother or a sister diagnosed with autism. The study is qualitative and therefore suitable to the purpose of studying the informants´ own experiences. Three women and one man, aged between 18-24 years, were interviewed through chatt programs on the Internet. The constituted perspective is phenomenological and the analysis were made by identifying meaning units in the text from the interviews. The theory used to interpret the result is systems theory and more specifically the structual family therapy by Salvador Minuchin.

This thesis investigates all aspects of quality and evaluation issues concerning collections of Internet links in public libraries today and in the future. We have studied central theories concerning quality in general as well as quality aspects regarding the Internet and Internet links. In addition to this we have made three case-studies involving the development of collections of Internet links in public libraries of different sizes. The case-studies were made as interviews with professionals responsible for selection, quality assurance and evaluation of electronic information for inclusion in the libraries collections of Internet links. In addition to this we made an e-mail interview with a librarian responsible for one of the most advanced collections of Internet links among Swedish´ public libraries.

Syftet med denna studie är att via tre kvalitativa intervjuer undersöka gränsdragningen mellan privat och offentlig sfär på Internet ur ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv. Huvudfrågorna lyder; ?Finns det en gräns mellan privat och offentligt på Internet och var går i sådana fall den??; ?Vad är det människor vill skydda från insyn och varför?? samt ?Hur stor är medvetenheten kring privat sekretess på Internet?? Studien innefattar bland annat en historisk överblick om hur privat och offentlig sfär utvecklats genom åren och hur dagens arenor till stor del överlappar varandra. Det här kandidatarbetet undersöker hur Physically based rendering kan påverkar en 3D-grafikers arbete. Målet är att skapa förståelse kring physically based rendering och hur denna tekniken kan komma att påverkar en 3D-grafikers arbete. För att undersöka problemområdet skapades en virtuell miljö i 3D med hjälp av physically based rendering. Arbetsupplevelsen jämfördes senare med det tidigare arbetssättet. Undersökningen beskriver tidigare arbetsätt och hur arbetet har ändrats med physically based rendering.

E-handeln ökar ständigt och inte minst när det kommer till klädbranschen. Konsumenter värderar tillgängligheten och utbudet som internet erbjuder. Dock upplever konsumenter en större risk med att handla på internet jämfört med en fysisk butik. Det beror på att den fysiska interaktionen mellan produkt och konsument försvinner. Konsumenter känner då en större risk för att produkten inte ska uppfylla deras förväntningar.

Method: Methods used are quantitative and qualitative, and the facts and figures are based on a pop up inquiry and some telephoneinterviews. I elected pop up inquiry and telephoneinterview as my data collection. My inquiry had a high grade of standardization and the interviews had a low grade of standardization. Result: On the basis of the question of issue I have drawn the conclusion that the users feels that it is important with information in all advertising.

Den här artikeln undersöker det aktuella kunskapsläget gällande ungdomars sexuella riskbeteenden på internet. Det är en litteraturöversikt som samlar bland annat fynd om risker som ungdomar möter online. Vi undersöker även vad forskning på området har kommit fram till avseende skydd och förebyggande åtgärder. Resultaten visar på att det är ett problem som ofta har överdrivits, gällande dess utbredning och graden av fara i det som en del ungdomar företar sig när de använder internet. Samtidigt tyder resultaten på att det, detta till trots, är ett problem att ta på allvar och att både forskning, professionella, föräldrar m fl.

Syfte: Förstå hur bankens marknadsstrategier, tekniska och organisatoriska utveckling har påverkat utvecklingen av finansiella tjänster på Internet Metod Den metod vi har använt oss av är kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer med beslutsfattare inom det svenska bankväsendet. Genom att göra personliga intervjuer uppkom det en helt annan kontakt med respondenten. Tanken var även att vi skulle intervjua personer på bankerna vilka dagligen arbetar med liknande frågor, detta för att få så bra kvalitet som möjligt på de svar som vi fick. Vi valde att intervjua två av de fyra stora svenska bankerna, valet föll på Handelsbanken och SEB. Slutsats Det finns primära och sekundära strategier bakom utvecklingen av finansiella tjänster på Internet i Sverige. Dessa strategier är integrerade med varandra.

Internet har prisats som en frizon för fritt meningsutbyte och informationstillgång, revolutionerande och oantastligt. Internet kan dock censureras, och detta sker dessutom idag. Därmed bestämde jag mig för att undersöka hur den utförs, hur den kan tänkas förhålla sig till yttrandefriheten samt vilken skada censuren kan tänkas innebära för den. För att först avgöra vad som menas med yttrandefrihet och vari dess värde ligger går jag igenom fem starka argument för yttrandefrihet i demokratiska stater, Mills sanningsargument, Meiklejohns demokratiargument, Bollingers toleransargument samt Scanlons två autonomiargument för att därefter komma in på arbetes huvudteori, Ulf Petäjäs pålitliga kommunikationsprocess. Den säger, i korthet, att yttrandefrihetens värde för demokratin ligger i att den möjliggör en pålitlig kommunikationsprocess som erbjuder folk den varierade information de behöver för att kunna få demokrati att fungera.

??The aim of this study was to define students? needs and wishes about the content of a health website. A questionnaire was distributed to 531 students at three different Universities studying two different education programs, of which 98 participated. The research was based on relevant articles, studies and literature. The study shows that students are interested in a health website and there seems to be a demand, among students, to improve their health.

This essay reviews the situation for real estate agencies within the Stockholm area. In this essay we assume that costumer loyalty is a requirement for survival on the competitive estate market. Two actors have been compared; A well known national Internet-based agency, Skandia Mäklarna, and a smaller local traditional agent Mäklarfirman Grönberg. These actors have been analyzed up on theories on loyalty, relationship marketing, service marketing, quality and involvement .The conclusion of the essay is that it is possible for small estate agencies to compeed with larger Internet based agencies by building loyal relationships with their customers. This can be achieved if the right strategic decisions are made.

This Masters thesis aims to examine how Swedish public libraries deal with the new challenge of evaluating web resources. In order to study this we have asked staff involved in gathering links for the libraries web sites to participate in a survey concerning how they go about choosing links. Apart from trying to capture this procedure it has been our purpose to establish whether the libraries feel they should provide their patrons with evaluated links at all and in what way they are influenced by other libraries or other main figures involved when choosing a link. We were also interested in the differences between libraries with large and small link collections. When defining evaluation, we have only focused on content.
